In this video we're using Vvivid gloss riviera blue to match the wheel faces to the rest of the car. This is a fun and easy project that anyone can do. Having a 2-tone wheels will definitely bring out a unique look.

If you are going to wrap wheels on a regular basis, I suggest making a adjustable height turntable for the wheels. So you can save the knees. From someone who knows.
Looks great! My suggestion is if you are going to offer this service, then go out and buy yourself an old bar stool so you can set the wheel on top of it and do the work up off the floor level.

i know this is a very basic job for you like you said but wow--this was amazing...don't let anyone tell you your job isn't crazy cool and fun!!! and guess what NOT anyone can do that--you have a gift! Not everyone has that touch---believe me, if i did this--even if i did it 100 times--i just shake to much and am not very intricate with details like you are...incredible job--never even knew this existed...i thought they just came from china already sealed and painted to sell--i didn't know this is how they do it here in the states...very cool what men can do.

Great job. U make it look easy. I've been trying to get my bike done, but I've came to the solution that it takes 2 people. Maybe just me. I no its hard to stretch the vynal and put heat on it at the same time. Good video mate

Yeah I don’t do blow dryer. Just trust me you’re better off waiting to get a heat gun, a couple hours w patience wrapping. I followed his vids and mine came out clean

Although I could sit here and tear apart your video, I won't. Wah, Wah...... Jk man seriously great video. As easy as people think doing this kinda work is...... It isn't!!!! I've worked with my father for 30 yrs at his Tint & AutoGlass Business. I learned how to tint free hand, yes old school way. Not how everyone of my employees do now with a Plotter. As much I try to teach them what my father taught them, none can grasp it fully. They make life to easy now for people and yet they still bitch. So I appreciate all your work & dedication to the business!
How would you go about wrapping say 1/2 or 1/3 of the inner lip where the chrome is pitted?
This is very interesting. I have a car relatively inexpensive 2009 Pontiac vibe GT lots of wheel rash. I’m thinking of just using touchup paint even though that will not look great it’s better than what I’ve got. Another option is plasty dip. However the wrap from what I’ve seen gives the best overall finish

Is wrapping the entire wheel a thing? I have mine plasti dip because I like the brake dust protection it offers on a restored finished. I’m talking about the inside. Would like to wrap my rims, but don’t like having the inside unprotected.

I have a quick question. Do you cut right on the edge of the wheel or do you leave a little lip so you can kinda bend the that lip around the edge of the rim. And if its the same concept when wrapping a car.
do they sell that vinyl in gold/silver mixed glitter? My 2020 Kia Soul is called Platinum/Gold, thanks!
