When I originally watched the trial (with no prior knowledge of the case) I was so confused by the series of events and the timeline which left me looking for more info.. hence how I found this podcast, and how I’ve spent the last week listening to each episode. Learning of the Medicare fraud he was being accused of in CT seems to be the perfect motive for his world seeming to be coming to an end (his own apocalypse). I don’t think the prosecutors willingly excluded that point, but more so couldn’t include that point as it would sway the jury to his automatic guilt if they found out he was doing something like that. Also it would increase his chances of being approved for an appeal - so the state probably didn’t want to take that risk and for that reason, didn’t fight to get it that fact in. I was disappointed by the lack of DNA evidence in this trial - there were no “gotcha!” moments! Whatever Tony did those 2-3 weeks he made sure to cover his tracks. If he did stab his family, where are his bloody clothes? Did any of the family members fight him back, did he have any injuries on him? I’m still unclear there…
After 30 days a body is pretty much decomposed the medical examiner said there were no blood in the body the question is how could he stay there that long with all those dead bodies weeks
@@workingonmyroar7944 did you hear Megan's aunt testify they was not together Megan wasn't taking his calls believe Megan was done with him before the FBI
Its so discusting how he can blame his beautiful kind wife. If anyone believes that any part of his "story" they're not opening their eyes to the truth. He's gross, narcissistic, psychotic and I hope he never see's any part of freedom for the rest of his life. God be with the family, and comfort their sadness..
Oh, I know! He actually blames her for all three murders AND the fraud HE committed, but then, he claims to be “taking responsibility”! Most pathetic human being imaginable!
I commend the neighbours and the relatives for alerting the authorities to the family's disappearance from the public eye. I don't want to know how many people lie dead in their homes for weeks and months because nobody cares about them. 😳
One of the things that disappointed me with the prosecution was it's total lack of doing anything, getting anyone to refute what he was saying. She's no Juan Martinez. She almost lost a case where the murderer lived with all the dead bodies!!! Come on.
In Florida was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Tony weeping for his family, and would not be comforted, because the Todts are not.
listening to that prosecutor was not easy. she has a voice like fingernails on a blackboard, VERY irritating. geez they couldn't have found someone else for that??
A response of "ok" to all his bs was what got me. I can't believe the state did not dig deeper to refute all his lies. Bring in more witnesses. Point out ALL his inconsistent statements. Nothing. Bare minimum. She almost lost a case of a murderer LIVING with his dead victims! How do you almost lose a case like that? Shoddy work. That's not good. He could have walked away from his crimes.
How did that quantity of Benadryl get into the family members? I don't think anyone would willingly take that much Benadryl, so how did they ingest that amount? That amount of Benadryl couldn't be ingested from the purple pudding pie. It doesn't make any sense to me, unless I could hear how it got into their systems. If anyone knows, thank you.
Hmm... remember when Tony promised he'd "talk to you when this was all over"? Did that apply ONLY to Taylor? You might have to bring her back for a day or two. It could also have been Tony assuming he's gonna walk for this and the polar opposite happened so he may not be in the talking mood.
This is beautifully made ,, amazing work. Thank you
Thank you!!!!

I don’t think he stayed with the bodies
They had a condo around the block and that house had a finished apartment above the detached garage

Outstanding series. Very well done
Exactly my question why the police failed those wellness checks?
Great job!
Thanks!

Inaudible/unintelligible. ISN'T THE SAME AS Incoherent. I think he was performing . KAREN MORENTE .
Was she really responsible for office billing? That should be easy to prove.

I would think it would be impossiblr
Is there any proof she bought Benadryl? Is there proof he bought Benadryl?

Yeah I'm surprised she left, knowing she might need to be around for him to talk to her.

It's not surprising to me (talking about the cops.)
These seems crazy people that have been in ground for years before they can tell what the death is. I wish they would get a second option.
Did she switch his phone so he wouldn’t have a phone?
That incessant piano music is extremely annoying.
Painful
Who’s finger prints on Benadryl packaging and container?
Good question
