    If you've ever been to Celebration, the fact that there have been 2 family annihilations make it even scarier than normal. It's already the epitome of what you imagine the Stepford Wives town to look like. Every lamppost has a tiny flower pot with perfectly placed flowers in it. Everything is hand painted, everything is just so and it almost feels like you have vertigo. Go and see it. It is off of a highway, in the center of a barron field. Tie a rope to the highway so you can make your way back. The juxtaposition of feeling yourself being swallowed into darkness while standing in the brightest of sunshine and walking past the most carefully constructed town in America is mania inducing.

    That is heartbreaking at the end when he describes his wife calling him a second time to tell him they are 'ALL DEAD'. You forget about the impact on others, the shock and disbelief. What a shame, finding out that these poor innocent children, Mother and dog, was subject to a horrific death, by their own father. He must have spiralled out of control, with finances, court case pending, possible prison, and wondering how his family would cope. He could not see past the fact his wife could also earn, and they would bounce back, no matter what happened. Things are never black and white, if only he could have seen that!!!! To choose this way out was horrific!!

    Anthony Todt was involved with a government billing scheme - like insurance fraud. He was a physical therapist but he claimed and billed for services that were suspect. The Feds were investigating him. He maybe didn’t tell is wife. They were living way beyond their means. He was flying to Florida and back to Connecticut maybe even 4 times a month. He had stopped making mortgage payments on the house in Celebration and had probably received a foreclosure or eviction notice. So he was spinning out of control until it got to this point. Liars (in this case about money) are likely to become murderers- think Halderson, Jennifer Pan, Bart Whitaker.

And as you mention, it goes only so far, and then you can investigate further. Such a tragedy, this case....and there are so many others. I watched his testimony yesterday.....and I am glad his desperation and ego prompted it to do it as it makes it obvious. A tragedy.....that almost no one saw coming, only his controlling behavior towards his wife. The rest he hid behind a very good mask.

    This entire story just reiterates how incredibly true The Joker was in The Dark Knight. A murder in Celebration, FL isn’t part of The Plan. This wasn’t a gangbanger or drug shooting that only happens in “those” neighborhoods. This was the “Little old lady”.
    Murder isn’t supposed to happen anywhere but for some reason, we think it’s less OK if it happens in good neighborhoods.
    Good, as in the people who live there have money and the means to pay for expensive things without flinching which is somehow seen as a vaccine against senseless violence (actually, a whole host of other societal problems).

    • @ClaytonBigsby01
      @ClaytonBigsby01 2 роки тому

      Murder isn't less ok when it happens in good neighborhoods and no one thinks that way. ITs not worse when it happens in bel air its just the shock value of it happening . Those people paid the high price for a house in a safe area . I cant help but notice you seem to have something against upper middle class. The people who own the small businesses that pay good wages and taxes. These people aren't "rich" they are simply money savers . People like you and your ignorance regarding Gross and Net income , federal income tax and the amount actual rich ppl pay . ARE THE REASON DEMOCRATS GET AWAY WITH RAISING TAXES ON THE "RICH" . THEY ACT LIKE "THE RICH" is Jeff BAZOS YET EVERY TIME WHEN YOU READ THE BILL YOU SEE THEY ARE RAISING TAXES ON THOSE MAKING $250,000 A YEAR BEFORE TAXES .See your over here acting like jane doe and her Mcmansion are the problem yet the actual billionaires continue to pay zero taxes . And so Janes fed income tax will INCREASE to 49% from 45%. Imagine starting a business then realizing Uncle Sam takes HALF OF YOUR FUCKING PROFITS VIA FEDERAL INCOME TAX .

    Everyone thinks he's totally full of crap and that his wife was this picture of perfecion. But his full time job was in another state, he had to fly to work. Why would HE choose that? Also, he looked totally normal in pictures when the little girl was a toddler. It wasn't until much closer to the murders that he became morbidly obese. There was clearly some stuff going on with that family. Just because people are related or they were childhood friends, that doesn't mean they know shit about shit. Luckily my relationship is pretty happy but, if it wasn't, no one would really know that unless we wanted or allowed them to. Barely anyone knows of my chronic pain... maybe heard about it in passing but they don't know what impact it has on my life, etc. She was estranged from her mom. Why??? I think people think they know but they really don't have any idea what was going on with the Todt family. Unless they were in that household recently, then their opinion of things certainly shouldn't count as actual evodence against this guy. He's annoying asf, but I think people have allowed that fact to heavily skew their judgement!!!

      @Trendyviews. 2 роки тому +2

      What causes a vocal fry?
      Vocal fry occurs when there is not enough breath being pushed through the vocal cords. When we breathe, our vocal cords separate. Then when we speak, those cords rub together and the vibration creates sound. If you speak without enough breath, your vocal cords cannot rub together and they create a creaky, hollow sound.
      Being said, I appreciate Taylor's time and passion in this story personally feel she done great.
      Jenn there was no sense in posting the negative comments against someone in a huge audience.

      I don't think we do. I'm studying this case at the moment. (Psychology purpose) and I think there is more to this case. His mannerisms and behaviour afterwards in both interviews is very strange compared to him taking the stand. In trial he screams guilty but I get this eery feeling that it didn't happen the way we think. I can't understand why he would stay with the bodies and not try to dispose of the bodies. 3 weeks is along time. Psychotic break? Or maybe this was even more sinister than we think.
