Something that I realized: every time they save a life, they go on to likely do good things, like Caleb did here. And in return, he helped Finch and Root. It would be nice if we saw more past numbers help here and there during this conflict with Samaritan - it would validate the mission Finch and Reese started all those years ago and prove that people can change the world.
+CBunye I also think Root just learned something here. Finch did something nice for Caleb Phipps in season two and Caleb let him use his program, no questions asked because of that. It was like I heard years ago, to do a good deed echoes in the world and comes back to you.
Did you see 5x11? SPOILERS AHEAD In the episode I mention, it is revealed, like Paul Parker says in a comment, that there is another team working at another city, and therefore it is implied that there is a team in several major cities. It makes sense: most of the people they save are talented persons.
This was something I felt they were lacking in - showing that the machine had used the irrelevants to fight back against Samaritan, think of the black book the team have at this point, all the lives saved - and Root’s hackers that kinda disappeared end of S3 I think? But on the other hand, it did it to help people - not to recruit soldiers for a war
The scene back in Season two between Caleb and Harold on the subway platform, was one of the more gripping dramatic moments of that season. Instead of John just showing up at the last minute to bust up some bad guys to resuce our POI of that episode, Harold got to be the "hero" who saved a life - and he did it by being vulnerable in a way that got through to Caleb.
There needs to be a new POI spin-off with Shaw, Fusco, Caleb, Zoe, and Bear. Throw in some Leon for comic relief. There can even be occasional cross-overs with the team in DC put together by that billionaire play-boy.
As a perfect foil to Reese perhaps, as a mercenary for Samaritan? Hunting down Reese, or actually being the one to kill him maybe? I hope they at least tried
No need to be sorry. I really don't want to get into a discussion about Root, so I'll say only one thing: I don't think she's ever changed..but even if there is an evolution, her character is the only thing on POI that I'm not interested in.
+zadose If that's the only reason why you don't like them, you're lucky :D Everything about those two has always irritated me. But I can't just stop watching the damn show while Reese and Finch are still there.
Ahhh, a few more clips like these and it'll be time to rewatch this absolute gem of a series.

In the latest episode there is 3 past numbers that make up a new team similar to Harold's and save innocent people when their number comes up

That's why we need spinoffs!!!

I like to think Caleb would be recruited by the machine post series and is maybe working with Shaw.
Season 2 Epi11
Season 4 Epi22 return. Love the planned numbering that they did
Luke is so hot good actor too........most underrated actor......he needs to be on the big screen more.
Am I the only one that cried at this scene? That just killed me.
Such a great scene...
This scene was so satisfying. I love this show.
I am going to miss this show
I already do ;'(
me too.:(
Still do
I wish they've also brought Alistair Wesley and Logan Pierce back in season 4.
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 5
Well, Logan Pierce was back. But I wanted Wesley so bad in this season and couldn't have him...
As a perfect foil to Reese perhaps, as a mercenary for Samaritan? Hunting down Reese, or actually being the one to kill him maybe? I hope they at least tried
I do think Wesley would have been a good Samaritan Operative.
Wesley would have been the perfect person to have won the Nautilus competition for Samaritan. Even a one off episode would have been neat.
@@DelosWX : It would have been interesting to see Wesley working with Greer. They used to work for MI6.
Finch kinda looks like Raymond Reddington in this clip, particularly around 1:23.
holy shit ikr
And the dialogue delivery too.
And Samaritan would have considered Caleb irrelevant
What a great scene, how finch would have felt in such a situation... To see the effect of ghe good and hard work you do continuing on.
I cried at this scene
A fantastic scene.
caaaaaaleeeeeeb. im cryin ova here
Love to c where Leon went?
This was a great scene
Joe Blake saves thr day
I hate Root more and more, no matter what she does.
Sorry, I used to hate her but now I love her. Her character evolution is one of the best elements of the show. A reformed killer for hire.

MLuglio Its also because i love amy acker lol.
That's cool but I said "I hate Root".
Amy Acker and Root are not the same person.
