I really wish the show had done more (more little vignettes) with the concept of Harold being this uber rich guy that works a pretty menial job as a cover.
Whole show had a great cast, including all the recurring actors (Clarke Peter, Robert John Burke, Ken Leung, Enrico Colantoni to name a few). Kevin Chapman was the unsung hero for me, consistently brilliant and understated.
@@cruachan1191 I don’t think he was understated. Everyone in the fandom loves Fusco, and him and Root had the most character development in my opinion.
"is that your idea of self defense?" "No, thats your idea. And if that doesn't work, you can jam your thumb in his eye and twist till you hit his brain-" "Please stop."
mrtlbush I tried getting into that show but I never did finish it. I'm sure its good tho maybe I'll give it another try. It just seemed too similar to White Collar to me.
He has a sort of husky, soft way of speaking - he almost never shouts. I'm in love with Reese's poker-faced sarcasm - I got the whole series on bluray, and I'm hoping to make a compilation of his most hilarious deadpan lines!
Me, I have a thing for Michael Emerson's voice. He enunciates everything (just like I do - it may be an autispectral thing?), making him sound almost British (a lot of people mistakenly think I have a slight British accent because of this speech trait). I just love the way he pronounces certain words, like how he draws out the 'h' before the 'w' in words like 'where' (hwayr) and 'wheel' (hweel). I also enjoy when he pronounces 'data' as (daytah) rather than (da-tah). But I am puzzled why his character keeps changing the pronunciation of 'data' and 'database', depending on the day - it's really rather odd! Other characters in POI seem to vary their pronunciation on those particular words as well, I don't know why...
Well, I could watch Jim Caviezel 24/7 and Michael Emerson is icing on the cake! These two have unbelievable chemistry...actually, Jim has good chemistry with every character in the show, that's what makes it so great!!
The sibling rivalry between Reese and Shaw is hilarious! Whether they're competing for Bear's affection, or fighting over who gets to row the canoe on their fake date, haha!
I'm on the flip side: I could watch Michael Emerson 24/7 (and I am, by marathoning LOST and POI side-by-side!) and Jim is some very lovely icing on the cake.
@@crystalidentity Totally agree with you. Michael Emerson is an erudite, brilliant actor. Having grown up around the theatre, I find those types of actors very attractive.
Definitely one of the best duos ever. I started watching this show because I heard Amy Acker was in it but Reese, Finch, other characters, and the brilliance of the show made me forget why I started watching it :D
Personally, I wish they could have had Root in the show much like she was in season two. She shows up, causes trouble, and leaves. I liked her better as the annoying psycho cheerleader who wanted Finch's machine instead of a part of the team and they should have kept Detective Carter.
@@torieowens8277 I'm glad someone else actually loves and remembers Carter. I feel like a lot of the POI fandom kind of skip over her, and that makes me sad... I'm still in the first half of the series (we're marathoning the bluray), and her character is super-important to me!

"I breached the space-time continuum" John's face after he says it, like he's maybe wondering if that's some secret thing Harold can actually do. I think that was my favourite one here!

I'm so agreed with the comment of the great friendship between Harold and John....it's very beautiful and so interesting. Also, yees!! Michael and Jim are so good actors....and this part of this episode about the girl Theresa Whitaker(so cute).....is so funny and so nice.😃😃😃💙

It's to bad When Finch first saw Reese, in RAM, they could not talk to each other. Maybe Reese wouldn't have to go though his most hurtful and saddest moments of his life. But it did help Finch, when he knew Reese did have a spark of humanity in him. RAM is the most humbulling episode, season 3 episode 16, other then most of season 4.
