I stumbled into a bar in New Orleans by chance when I was 23 and this band was playing with a little known Pantera. I will never forget partying at 3 am with Darrell,Vinnie,Rex,Phil and half of LSD when all of a sudden fkn Mike Patton of Faith no more and the guitarist for tool come in and join us. I lost 36 hours trying to hang with everyone but I've got great memories, autographs and pics from the greatest night of my life. These fucks didn't have a scheduled show or anything.....just a bunch of wild headbanger's hanging and jamming.
Been one of my favourite bands for over 30 years.I still have the original cd.The album the silent majority is absolute gold.I only wish they stayed together long enough to tour Australia.Everyone I introduced this band to absolutely loved them.
Early 90's Headbangers Ball. I started singing this the other day while driving. Had to come find it. I remember watching this video when my 1-year-old was sleeping in his crib, all of a sudden, he jumped up and started headbanging to this song. Great memories!!!

I've loved LSD for decades now and I've always felt they were way ahead of their time. How did a band with cock-rock roots suddenly flip the switch and decide to lay down such ball-smashing tracks in an era where hairspray bands were slowly dying off and giving way to teen-angst and flannel? I don't know if it was a joke or a gimmick or whatever, all I know is that 20yrs later its still some of the coolest s*it your ears will ever get to hear.

1 of the metal magazines back in the day had a section where they focused on semi unknown bands and did an article on LSD. Shortly after that, I saw this video on MTV and was blown away. Looked and looked til I found the CD. I just knew they were going to be huge. Then, they just disappeared.
