One of the greatest frontmen I have ever seen in my life. The band was awesome too. Stanley with his whole homeless thing, and the band was like a couple of Gazzarri rippers, Sunset Strip metal guys, playing the music perfectly, and then you think Stanley is a cripple, walking with a limp before the music starts.......and then the song comes alive and he turns into the most elegant performer.. Just a mind EXPLOSION when we saw them. They were either ahead of their time, behind it, or just too amazing and brilliant for the regular world to figure it out. In a world of selfie culture, fame seeking people, who are untalented and unoriginal, I really wish somehow Stanley and his bandmates could of gotten their due. Cheers always to Stanley and LSD..
Everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY, has told me the same thing. And I am 100% in agreement-when I refer folks to this proflle THIS is the song/video I link them directly to. Thanks for your support !
Your amazing I love music I KNOW wow thank you
I love driving down the street and playing this song on my stereo.
How long it take you to dance in a mirror to get moves like that bro?
@@zebulynnhanson791 That’s some weak, Passive-aggressive Justin Bieber crap you posted. That man is a consummate professional. I believe he came out of the womb able to do that. Then again, Sarcasm doesn’t bode well in text, so maybe you were trying to be kind? But either way, it came across as horseshit.
It must be painful to do work at such a high level, create something so cool, fun, and unique, and have so many people just not get it. It's painful for me and I'm just a fan.
+praketing richraft man i still don't understand how these guys didn't go bigtime. so many don't know about them
+Millard Jeremiah I honestly think it was just timing. This album came out after hard rock was becoming passe and grunge was coming in. I think if it would have been a couple years earlier they would have gottne big.
@@4fingas69 yeah but they had tank, telephone call to jesus, big black bush, schools for fools, raise a little hell, not a bad song on the album.. they had plenty of mtv and radio friendly titles they should've made it big if not going against symphony of destruction, walk, the black album, gor gor, thuderkiss 65, demanufacture by FF.... god.. 92 was one of those years for metal that you couldn't go wrong
They are brilliant I wish I wish they could have kept going man I wish so much.
I love Stanley. But I’m just a Kid Sunshine.
Saw them in 92 or 3 in Phoenix at the Mason Jar. I'll never forget Stanley's genius performance. The band f'n rocked too.
This band was INCREDIBLE. Saw them open for Lynch Mob in the 90s and frankly, LSD stole the show. Most fun and memorable show I have ever seen. The world needs this band right now.
One of the greatest live bands I've ever seen. Very entertaining and well worth the price of admission. I saw them at Hammerjacks in Bmore opening for Lynch Mob. I remember Stanley jumping into the crowd and scaring some of the girls.
J Matthews Check out Dean Delrays interview with Alex of LSD on his Let There be Talk podcast.
J Matthews I was at that Hammerjacks show too! They were killer! Bought the disc the next day!
J Matthews saw that show..we opened for kix the night after and Stanley hung around for the show...hammerjacks..I heard it was a parking lot now...
What year?
@@jhall1887 fuck Alex
T^these guys were on the brink of genius, but not too many saw that
+joshAKAtheman I loved this band. All of my friends thought I was totally off my rocker but I didn't give a shit. I still listen to this album today.
what they were up against was insane. having said that i'm enjoying my tape cassette freshly ripped from it's original plastic
@@millieproductions77
Well, they had a special something but overall their songs were just too boring somehow.
I kinda liked it but never could get into it as much as I would've wanted to, great sound but musically there was just something missing.
@Cheated Mywaythruhighschool
I was 24-25 when you were born, so I guess I could've seen 'em, if they ever toured the Southwest of Germany and came to a town close by that is, I rarely drove round the country just to see a band.
Killer band. I played the Hell outta the CD when it first came out. I still have it somewhere.
Best frontman ever. Stanley could easily get a backing band in each country and fucking do this now. Fuck his moves are fucking rad as fuck.
No matter what music I play and watch, I keep coming back to watch this band!
Still one of my most favorite albums of all time.
I loved these guys.spent alot of time with them all...good ole days
Saw them at Safari Bar in West Covina, CA. 1992 or so--absolutely brilliant live, no question.
Stanley; musical fucking genius; greatest frontman ever, ever. e.v.e.r.
I miss this band so much. Whether the street bum antics of Stanley were real or not, Silent Majority was one of the best albums of the 90's!
They certainly did! I bought 'The Silent Majority' way back in the day...''I'M A TANK!!!''
Maybe the most under discovered Brillant band ever!!
Saw them at Hammerjacks in Baltimore... didn't get enough of them.
Traveled the next night to see them at the TLA in Philly... still didn't get enough.
Traveled to another club in North Jersey to see them again. All in the same week. Met Alex years later at Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA with his band AntiProduct. Just saw him at M3 playing with Enuff'znuf. Wish these guys continued to make music though.
I love the zig-zag and then the mic twirl! STAANLEEY!! Pure energy.
great video! his dance moves are sick, I really miss listening to this CD with my pals, thanks so much for posting these LSD videos!
I fucking love this band!!!! Great post....
I just pulled out this disk for the first time in ages, and had to look them up. I almost forgot how much I fucking LOVE this band! I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one! Hey, buddy! That sounds damn good to me!
Brilliant....LSD come back!!!!
Some great tunes that hold up amazingly well almost 30 years years later, but they came in at the end of the metal craze, had a gimmick that was revealed to be less than legit, and offended media who were used to dealing with inappropriate behaviour from musicians by crossing lines that offended even the hardened and jaded, so no shock that there was never a second album, let alone a career
"crossing lines that offended even the hardened and jaded"
?
just met Alex a few nights ago, so I had to look this up. great showmen, this vocalist is entertaining as hell, with moves all his own!
Stanley I love you. Thrash back to my high school days.
I miss this band. LSD was great.
Priceless. Thanks for posting this.
Always loved Alex's guitar tone and production. I listened to LSD since I bought the album in '92 - Jawohl Asshole!!
Larry Grabarek Check out Dean Delrays "Let There Be Talk" interview with Alex of LSD. You'll love it.
I would like to thank Beavis and Butthead for turning me on to this band back in the day. Was watching old B & B clips and come across LSD and had recheck them out.
Holy shit!!This is the best front man ever!
How the fuck have I never seen this band before??? I heard TANK one time I think 30 yrs ago been singing since..I just put IM A TANK and this came up..this is like Christmas for me holy shit he is the coolest lead singer EVER
Been saying I'm a tank for years heard the song once
OMG saw them at CBGBs in 92 ....WOW totally Amazing
My favorite L.S.D. song!!! I was hoping someone would put this song on youtube.
Lol, I never new Stanley could bust moves like that. Great footage, thank you for sharing!!
Outstanding!!!All I can say,Outstanding!!!!
Stanley maybe one of the best frontman ever!! Love you!
Nice moves!
amazing video and band!
So great.
I love the zig-zag and then the mic twirl. STAANLEEY! Pure chi.
I saw them open for Lynch Mob at the Limelight in NYC...I had never heard of them, but I walked away a fan and told everyone to go ck em out...awesome! Met them a couple times and I can honestly agree...Stanley F'N' smelled foul !!!
Fucking Brilliant Band.
yay!!
I was there, great show!
Stanley kicked fuckin ass loved this band
klbax63 edput
I'm glad they played Cleveland, and I was there.
i love watching stanley dance and the shit he does with the mic
What a great fucking rock band.
I saw those guys back then play at the Universal Amphitheater. Fucking killer damn live show!
As long as we keep watching them, they will live. As far as I'm concerned they have made it. Just like the sex pistols, one album that's it. Enough said!
I once took a piss in the urinal next to Stanley in a club in upstate N.Y called Maxx's and Stanley smelt like straight up dog shit! Love this band.
Nice dance moves.........
LSD fucking ruled.
debgibsonfan dvzmuw
2:09 Is where the magic begins!!
Badass
THIS KICKS ASS!!!! Just AWESOME!!! \m/
Bloody brutal!
I accidentally saw these guys at the Whiskey in LA in mid 1991 (I think it was). Quite an experience it was too. I believe (and I could be wrong) that their drummer now plays for House of Lords.
Saw them at the Central club just one block down around the same time.
Seen them in Knoxville Tn., awesome show, all the guys were very friendly. A few friends and myself got to do a little bar hopping with Stanley, funny AF.. but i got to say, the smells coming from the guy was face melting... lol
What REM could've been.
Byrne's got nuthin' on Stanley! Jawohl!! 🤘
Music On Vinyl has remastered The Silent Majority LP & OMG does it sound good!!!
Fuckin' XXXcellent!!!
LSD fucking rules.
Are they really playing at the Shakey’s Pizza Parlor on Olympic Boulevard?
Unreal I wish I was there.
LS&D blazed the place down
I hope you were buzzed when you posted that Mike.. And not senility. Then you'd keep forgetting where you put your beer, and thats a huge problem.
Loudmouth seriously rocked. I truly miss you guys. I wish you all the best.. Somewhat hopefull that a certain someone gets his act together and talks commence.
Rock on !
I'm speechless..this is the coolest shit I've seen in years..oh please tell me that band still tours
stanley stanley stanley.
bring back lsd
When were you in LSD Flare ?
They need to do a reunion
They want you below!!
Stanley fucking ROCKS!
Buddy Holly on ACID! Fuck yeah!
If Hunter S. Thompson had been a rock musician, he would have been Stanley!
Love the stop at 3:03
I dance like Stanley and I call it “noodling”
SO FUCKING GOOD, so big sounding! -Does Stanley (and Alex) do weddings ? Lets party!
Does anyone else feel like Scott Weiland may have jacked some of the moves he has off the front man here?
Layne Staley and Stanley could have collaborated.
How the fuck do you move like that I'm trying my best here lmaooo. Peace long live LSD yooo!
I think they miscast Heath Ledger as the Joker. Stan is the man.
What type of music is this? Metal? Hard rock ? Alternative ? Can anyone answer?
They had their own unique genre. If you lived in the Chicago area and didn't know these guys, you weren't cool. LOL I miss these guys. Alex Kane (the blonde) went on to be pretty famous with Antiproduct and is still out there working on various projects.
One minute he looks like he's a battery operated toy and the next, an air traffic controller
Chris Stan(Stanley)still had the same dance moves even before the Stanley gimmick. ua-cam.com/video/r6UKekmRM1g/v-deo.html
Put a little bit of Michael Jackson then pour some Elvis and don't forget to shake it well with ACID flavors.
What does that word "Jawohl" mean?
Yes or yes sir
German - yes sir
Other common translations could be "that's right", "exactly", "quite/quite so" or "right you are".
What happened to these guys? Punkmetal or what?
Their one & only album just wasnt very good. But Tank & Fuckin Shit Ass are 2 of the best songs of the grunge era.
It might have been partly an act, but not fully. That dude was screwed up, and he smelled like a sewer. I know because I stood next to him.
Yawn.
Dumbest gimmick ever
