This is a tour of one of my favorite jobs. When you downsize you sometimes lose some of your favorite rooms in the home like your Home Theater. This client wanted a larger tv in his living room or a short throw projector. Watch the video and see how we revamped this room into a custom 150" drop down screen Theater and hidden projector to take this gorgeous living room from a calm space to a true legit Home Theater !

Brilliant setup and so refreshing to see how you've helped a customer enjoy the joy of watching movies without getting too technical about it. Well done!

I appreciate it. We are glad the content resonates. I can be technical...just not what I am doing on here lol

My living room is a lot like this! Pull-down projector screen (150"), Epson 5050UB aiming through a picture window in the opposite wall

This room is kind of like mine.
I have my equipment in the space that you put the projector. My projector is on the ceiling. My screen is a fixed screen that I hang with hooks. It works great 👍 but I would love to get a drop down screen in the future when budget permits.
Great to see you back in action! Awesome set up 🤜🤛

Have you seen the Epson EB PQ2008 yet?

Just the new 1008. Love the 1008 though. I am probably getting it for my house. Super bright. Great pic. Let us know if we can help

The picture is totally washed out. The drop down screen looks out of place. Keep these set ups in theater rooms, not family rooms. UST’s are the best choice for replacing your family room tv.

Looks way better in person and if you watched the video... we were gong to to UST but with those cavities and th efireplace there we couldn't. Looks great and the client...and anyone that sees it loves it. But we always appreciate the completely useless and unsolicited advice.

This is perfectly fine for someone who wants a big screen area for night time viewing. Of course it is washed out when showing it in daylight with window treatments up.

Yes but in person it's not that washed out. Totally watchable with ALR and high lumens. shows worse with lighting but those are WHITE shades...even down a ton of light and still super enjoyable and huge. It's a badass space.

if any installer that suggests putting your lcr speakers in ceiling, run away. worst possible way to install lcr

I almost deleted this comment because it's so dumb. First of all we suggest things for the room not "perfection" the client didnt' want to see the speakers above those pictures and there is NO place for a center speaker here. At the right distance an angled in ceiling will image mid wall. In my own Bedroom I have 5.1 in my ceiling...100% sounds like the sound is coming from my 85". So yes...it's not ideal but AS I SAID IN THE VIDEO IF YOU WATCHED IT...and clearly you didn't ...so don't comment then..."this isn't a perfect room for audio" so we designed around it. Oh man these keyboard warriors that don't know a damn thing about system design.
