You're getting it! Just keep paying attention to what's being said and how the information is presented to you. Some running themes that may seem unimportant will come up again later, and they're probably still unimportant, but they're the little things that matter. Looking forward to the next episode!
That’s what I’m noticing with this one! It’s the little things. I guess that’s what makes it a “masterpiece” huh! I noticed the sour grapes thing at the end and how Eisen liked sour grapes and she learned a spell for it 🥹🥹🥹
A reactor I haven’t seen before watching Frieren….welp… I suppose I can watch through again for the 12th time lol. Love this show and seeing other people enjoying it. And yes, keep the tissues handy because this show will make you tear up many many more times 😂
This episode had several excellent examples of symbolism with Himmel as Sky. When Heiter fell, we saw the massive rain storm. Himmel was crying. When Heiter tells Fern about his lost friend in the flashback, the backdrop is a clear blue sky. When Frieren finds the Blue Moon Weed, she is framed against a beautiful sky, showing Himmel is with her and happy.
amazing video! please after make reviews videos and toughts about this anime, I usually watch more reviews than reactions. But thank you for your hardworking to keep the fandom alive. I love to much this anime, really special to me.
@@pabloruansabino3933 I definitely will make a review video!!! I’ve been thinking about that. I’m looking forward to finishing it! Watching some today 👏🏻 thanks for the support!
There was recently a story where A Taiwanese man helped stop a knife attack on the Taichung metro because his anime hero, Himmel "would've done the same."
In episode 1, the time skips were 50 years and then 20 years. In this episode, we've had 4 years, and then a couple of time skips that add up to 2 more to bring Fern and Frieren to the village with the herbalist. 6 months for searching for the blue moon weeds. It seems like Frieren is paying more and more attention to the present. And that it took her a mere 70 years to process her friendship with Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen.
Shows just quickly someone's perspective can change if the opportunity and the reason for it is present. Himmel's death kickstarted Frieren's realization on the passing of time and then Heiter dying and her travelling with Fern sped up that even more. In just 2 episodes she has already changed. It also shows that her wanting to learn to understand humans better has already borne fruit in a relatively (for her) short time.
Please please please reverse the playlist, starting at the top with episode one. That way, new viewers can auto-play your reactions down the list. As it is laid out, they have to manually select each episode to watch. I'm glad I found you, and that you like Frieren as much as I do. None of my friends are interested because it's a slow anime about story, not a fighting anime. This kind of gives me similar vibes to Samurai Jack, where you're constantly paying attention to the quiet. And the music is so beautiful to go along with the visuals.
Hellooooo :) thank you so much for telling me about the playlist! I had no idea 🫡 I will check it out! That helps me a lot. I have met quite a few people that agree with that sentiment as well… I’m always shocked and thinking they just don’t pay attention to the little details lol I find the fights mean so much in this anime because of the way they are set up. I second the music as well (absolutely perfect)

Looking forward to your reactions, I’m glad you’re paying attention to small things, there are many payoffs for small stuff and it’s so great.
