I'ts fun and at the same time made you think about good and evil as you said. Sometimes what is good to you is evil for other people so: who really will be the good guys? And yes the MC has a lot of nostalgia and sometime build up even anger cause of that.

Fun fact, if you watch the openings for this arc it shows Junpei hanging out with the crew which basically made us believe that he'd survive...the animators were cruel for showing us that 😭

too bad the ones you watched didn't have lyrics in them (beyond first season), because there would've been much more to discuss. There are a lot of comments so I don't know if they've already said it but all the ending art is taken from the light novel. He's an artist who is starting to be recognized for his somewhat dark art and that has small details that talk about more of the characters.

Also, she's innocent enough to ride on the back of a demon unicorn, despite being a succubus :D
