As a girl w a natural big butt (who hated it growing up bc who wants to be constantly s@xualized at 10 and all throughout my formative years) I kinda sympathize w these girls. It’s bad enough having esteem issues from the lack of attention from the male gaze (bc let’s be fr that’s what it was for primarily) but to have esteem issues in a social media era is wicked!
yea I definitely understand what you mean; as a young girl, even older, it can make you feel burdened or almost resentful towards your own body because of the negative, unwarranted attention that it brings. It sucks that the person has to feel uncomfortable in their own God given bodies, so I can only imagine the feelings of a person who has altered their body by their own free will and they not get the outcome they expected.
I never said you were being mean, your comment just comes across as not empathetic and like a "good for them" type of vibe, which is why I said what I said. Am I personally offended by your comment that you cared enough to express ? Not at all, I can understand why you may feel the way you do. & yes I did make a video discussing them, if you watched the entire video, you would understand that it was meant for educational purposes to warn others and to speak life into women, especially the youth to accept themselves. So my purpose for telling you "to be nice" was to curate a healthy space on my platform for those who may come across the video & have been negatively affected by falling into the trap of this trend.
@ Again , never said anything about how ridiculous they looked or spoke on how insecure these women are . I’ve been around them . Just like what the one slim brown skin girl said . They called us broke , jealous and envious. I have no sympathy and majority of them are only speaking out because it is no longer a trend . There favs you know the Calabass klan , are sliming down and doing full body renovation. The difference is the have endless fund. Now they are crying because they longer fit the beauty standard . I have no sympathy. I’m sorry if you are dealing with health complications, but for vanity to now fit into the new slim super model aesthetic. Nope don’t feel bad . But I understand your point 💕
the part i wished you stress a bit more is that BBL is more for sex worker career path and regular women think they want to do it and be treated like normal. sex working is about being loud sexually showing everything to make it obvious for customers and now women want to normalize that. everywhere now teens and grandmas doing BBL making society look stupid as a whole
