As far as clocking goes, don’t clock from the gate of the M32 because, if you have a sequence with rests, your clock will have rests too. Do this as an artistic decision by all means but I’d recommend clocking from the SubH, preferably with a splitter lead into the other two.
I have been trying hard to rid myself of material desires, but wow oh gosh, there, I really want this thing. Unfortunately, I can't afford it. However, I do have a Korg Volca FM, a Korg Monologue, and a PO-12, and an iPad and a computer, and also an Arturia sequencer that is really cool but I haven't really learned how to use, yet. I'm in the process of recording an album, and on it I will also play all the other instruments. Guitar, bass, saxophone, drums, mandolin, another guitar, maybe a flute or a penny whistle. I think that if I tell more people about it, then I will feel more obligated to actually do it.

Did you get the overlays(patch sheets) as you would with dfam and sub if you bought then separately?
I didn’t with the Sound Studio 3.

For those of us that bought one of these early, I would love if Moog had an upgrade pack to add those items (not individually buy items, but a bundle). I have a Subharmonicon. I keep thinking to add the Studio that gives me Mother-32+DFAM, but what holds me back is the fun items and the rack will only be dedicated to that bundle and not include the Subharmonicon. There may be some other items... So then I have an extra expense of adding the 3 tier rack and the hassle of getting rid of the 2 tier one. Of course this is a 1st world complaint...
Yes, finger-crossed Moog release this accessories as a "bundle"
I have another pair of DFAM and Mother 32 around and want to get the Mini Mixer that is quite useful when you ran out of space in the Mixer. Usually when this happens to me I use the Behringer 4 channel Mixer. Thanks for your comments Paul
Do what I did, sold my Mother 32 and DFAM and bought the Studio 3
@@wallen9587 I'd be selling a singular Subharmonicon... That seems like it would be losing me money as I can't get what I paid for the SH.

Hi Tony, thanks for your comment. It's super sturdy, it has rubber feet for balancing and after all the assembly is quite heavy so sits well on any surface.

Hi Mark you're going to love it
You can use the included Mixer and the headphone output, but also you can send your Audio outs from each of the Synths to another Mixer or Audio interface to capture independently

Paper manuals are definitely included. Just bought one and the package is amazing. 3 paper manuals, patch book and a load of other stuff.

By the time you made the patch I lost interest in making a song, this is why I don't think I would go down the modular route. I want to work fast and make a song not read books and patch cables. I love the sound but I don't think it's for me. The subharmonicon is very tempting though!
Hi Pulse2AM highly agree in that it's not "efficient" in terms of speed. IMO music is a craft and I love to trigger my inspiration by books and those called "happy accident". Nevertheless if you study enough the patching process at the end is kind of seamless the same way that moving knobs on a preset or strumming a guitar. Cheers

Sadly, the Sound Studio 3 bundle was discontinued by Moog. You can still get the individual synths or try to find a used Studio 3 bundle.
