I hope you do his transplant, you are so through and honest. So refreshing to see you doc, a truly honest plastic surgeon. I won’t say any names but so many Plastic Surgeons on YT are so arrogant, car salesman vibes, or clearly pushing something they do in their clinic, or very exaggerated and over the top. You really bring something chill, honest and knowledgeable to the platform❤️

Absurd. He’s not a hairy guy. Sparse beard c’est la vie. He’s good looking and that level of imperfection is charming. A fuller beard may look artificial on him and detract.

He could easily solve his problem with a pretty basic stack:
    minoxidil 5% + tretinoin 0.05% + microneedling @1 - 1.5mm (+ stemoxydine)
Plus, of course, a year of patience... which wouldn't be unlike the recovery from a beard transplant.
He doesn't need a beard transplant. He has the foundation to grow a full, dense beard just from the stack described above.

Dr. Linkov, my father is 62 yrs old. He has an unbelievable head of hair. His facial hair has always been somewhat sparse. Almost 2 years ago he was put on "Finasteride tablets" for a medical issue, unrelated to hair growth. Well, as a secondary result he has had a major increase in his facial hair, nasal hair & hair inside his ears. It's hard to tell if his scalp hair increased. He is so used to having a clean shaven facial look. He was so frustrated that he now goes to a NYC men's salon once or twice a week, lol. He now has a mustache and full beard that needs shaping & trimming. Not to mention his ear & nasal hair. Everyone loves the look except for my 5 year old niece. She cried her eyes out when she saw him with beard & mustache for the first time.
My father prefers no facial hair. Claims it itches and much to difficult to maintain ❤️☺️❤️.

This is the one option I’m considering as a last resort. I’m a 36 year old Hispanic male. At this stage of my life, I was expecting to have a full luscious beard, but things just didn’t work out the way I wanted them to. My cheeks are as bare and smooth as a baby’s butt. That’s the joke that most people make when they know I can’t grow a beard. My mustache is almost nonexistent. It kinda looks like the one the Golden Age era actor of the Mexican cinematography in the 1930s to 1980s used to have. His name was Mario Moreno “Cantinflas”. Of course, his was purely to give life to his character in movies, but that’s what it looks like. Pathetic, I know. I’ve used rogaine and minoxidil before but to no avail. The one thing that sort of worked (a little), was a beard serum from my beard club. I paid for a full year’s worth of serum as well as a roller to massage my face out with it and stimulate the follicles. My area where my chin is, is where I’ve seen improvement. I can see more hairs, but there’s still a lot of patchy spots that no matter how hard I massage my face with the roller and how many times a day I apply the serum, they just won’t show any signs of hair growth. I think those areas are simply bald and do not have any hair follicles… which, sucks big time. I went to see a specialist before and she told me that I’m just not sensitive to testosterone like most men are and it also has to do with genetics. Both of my younger brothers have beards and they’re all patchy like the guy from the video. My father never was able to grow a full beard either. He barely had a mustache and he said it would grow out but it would grow all weird and in different directions which is why he always preferred to be clean cut. Now, my serum will end in December of this year. My supply, anyways, but I’m just not confident or convinced that much will change seeing as it will be 16 full months of trying out this serum with very little improvements. After seeing the video, I don’t think I want to use up my scalp hair seeing as while most men my age have these luscious robust beards that they so gallantly flaunt, they’re all bald while I have my hair on my head intact and slicked back with a fade on the sides like Brad Pitt in the movie Fury. 😎😏My doctor said that I should be well into my late 50s with still a full set of hairs on my head so I should be happy about it… but should I?. 🤣 I will never be able to boast about my beard. I still have to shave every 2 days, however. My face gets prickly and you can see that and it looks very weird. My girlfriend says that my look without a beard is better because I look much younger. Most people don’t believe me when I say I’m 36. They all assume I’m at least 24 or 26. But either way, that’s my story I wanted to share so those who are full adults don’t feel bad about this condition because you’re not alone. I might consider a facial hair transplant one day or simply learn to accept that I’ll never grow a beard and be happy with myself that way.

My beard hairs are way thicker and darker than my scalp's.
Even with a lower success rate, wouldn't it be advantageous to take them from my dense neck/under chin area and move them to fill out my cheeks rather than from my donor area ? (34 y/o Norwood 4 -- would have beard and hair transplants simultaneously)
Hair is thin and brown, beard is coarse blonde in goatee and dark brown neck through sideburns)

Well its obvious Dr. Mike has a very strong head of hair with a good hairline and fullness but his poor beard quality sticks out and is noticeable since up top he has a very mature and desired full head of hair, but his facial hair looks weak and patchy at best and I think alot more guys are self conscious about that today since growing out your beard is so much more common and women want guys with a strong jawline and a full beard can sometimes go hand in hand with that...
I think Dr. Mike should just keep it clean shaven because I don't think he will end up getting getting that super full and thick beard as he describes in the podcast video, and frankly I dont think patching up a few of the spots will end up looking much better, his beard is very thin and of low quality and for alot of guys that makes their overall face look less mature, and I'd rather just keep a more clean shaven face with strong jawline and a good head of hair on top, vs growing out a patchy, thin beard that is in contrast much different.

Did Doctor Mike allow you to use his face on your thumbnail ? Love your channel but seems a little sketch to use a photoshopped picture of him on your thumbnail to promote your video without consent. This reminds me of the Natalia Dyer situation. Cheers mate

A beard hair transplant? For a tiny spot where is less hair? How self absorbed can one be.

Whats so bad about piercings and tattoos? Some look good with it, some don't. Its depending on multiple factors, or are you one of those "I DowN't PuT a SticKeR oN a FawRraWri uwu" people?
Btw. Earrings are also piercings, so..

Anyone with a beard will tell you there is a large difference between the consistency, thickness, color, growth pattern of beard hair relative to scalp hair. This channel has a lot of information, but it would be much better if Dr. Linkov was more objective or at least transparent with the fact that he benefits from convincing others to undergo cosmetic surgery. Feels disingenuous to see marketing dished out with the complete guise of education.
