@Leaders Of The Old School Dude you're so lucky to at least have a patchy beard because I don't have anything other than light mustache and chin hair. 😭
One thing I loved about growing my beard was the confidence it gave me. I used to bend to the will of what other people thought I should look like, but once I grew my beard out, my ex at the time told me how much she hated it, and having the ability to go "Well, that sucks, I like it so it's staying" is something I really needed. Knowing that it doesn't matter how others find it, I like it and I think it suits me. Reckon now I've met a good handful of women who are really into it, but there's something empowering about people saying they don't like it and just being able to brush it off because you like it and you're confident.
My wife hated full beards. She met me before my beard, and now she loves it. Conclusion: it ALWAYS just comes down to if she generally finds you attractive.

Sadly that’s just how some women are nowadays. Earlier today I watched a video of Lil Huddy at the VMAs this year and in the comments there were so many girls saying stuff like “He is so hot🥵” and “I love him!❤️.” They were fangirling over his outfit and how his face looks. If I were to wear the exact same outfit he did and pose just like he did then I bet those same girls would be like “K.”
I have a beard cause I absolutely don’t look good without one I look 12. Plus I trim it and look after it. My girl make fun of me for taking almost an hour trining it but she takes 5 hours to just put makeup on so she shouldn’t be laughing
These girls dont judge the look of the beards but the look of the men.I mean if they showed them a handsome looking guy with a goatee they would all say that it looks good
Isn't that the point though? If you're good looking, varieties of styles just suits you no problem. But if you're average or below average, you have to really find a look that accentuates your features.
8.12 is everything you need to see... This guy have good beard but he is not attractive like first guy, and most women said it is bad style, but it is really normal. If you are handsome you can pull anything if you are ugly , it is over.
My takeaway from this vid: "He can pull it off" is code for being attractive, you have much more leeway in how you can look good. And head hair is an important tell in how well kept you are if you have a facial hair.
I wouldn't even say its about generic attractiveness, it's all about face shape. You can pull off a mustache and stubble better if you have a square jaw for example. Attractiveness is about playing the cards you were delt with confidence, so find a style that best suits the shape of your face
The bottom line is do whatever you want, and whatever you're comfortable with, I've had a moustache for about 15 year's, I don't Care if some random stranger finds it attractive, when it comes to fashion women make Alot More mistakes then us men
When I officially became a man for the church I started growing my hair and beard out for the church as tradition. I have really started growing it out at 20 years old. I have natural 8 inch duck tail along with long hair. I am going for 12 inches and keeping it trimmed there for now until I retire from my trade then I will grow it longer. I haven't seen my face with out a beard for 3 years and I can not stand my face without it now but at least my faith requires it for those who can grow it.
@@tacoking1333 This! As a woman I'll say that in order for a man to look good with a beard he must have beautiful eyes and maybe a good nose since the eyes focus on the top half of the face with a beard and for a mustache he needs to have a square jaw and a nice smile since the eyes focuses on the lower half of the face with a mustache. So yeah its all about working with what you have.
For all the men out there be yourself. What makes you feel comfortable be that person. Because what I believe every men is unique and got a unique style. If a woman love she will love you the way you are... Don't change yourself for any random chick... be yourself and be awesome.

Fellas, grow whatever makes your heart content and feels good. One thing I will say that I noticed from real life experience and a thread in the video, the unless you’re rocking a super thick stache, try to limit the total shaving of the face around it. I have a decently dark beard and a mid mustache, but I’ve always gotten better results with the mustache when it’s got a 5 o’clock shadow or scruff around it. I really think that style’s coming back, kind of the 80s colombian thing. Maybe it’s Narcos that brought it back lol, but I definitely think the mustache looks better if you put a lower stubble around it. It still pops but it takes some of the attention off if you’re a little thin in the stache department. At least until you grow it out enough for it to shine on its own. Consider your desired vibe, your genetics, beard etc. For anyone like me who is solid on the beard but weaker/needs more time on the mustache, that strategy has done wonders for me
It’s not about the style of facial hair you have, it‘s about how attractive you are. Chris Hemsworth could pull off literally any facial hair style and women would still be attracted to him. Get in shape and look your best.

Red beards are more see through most of the time so I usually just go a to a duck tail or wear darker color shirts white is the worst color for red beards because it makes it look thinner then it actually is.
@@velvetinedrapes4359 My theory is that people are attracted to those that put some effort into their appearance but not too much. So if you let your beard get a little shaggy, or have some stubble, you will still look attractive as long as you've got a good hair cut with maybe a little product in it to keep it looking clean. If you are in need of a haircut thats fine too, but then you need to clean up the beard either through shaping with scizzors, trimming, or shaving it off. Most people aren't attracted to those that care too much about their appearance, and look high maintenance. It gets you thinking, if they put this much effort into their appearance, what negative parts of theirself are they trying to hide, or you just assume that they are a shallow person because they spend all of their time working on their appearance instead of improving their personality or skills. This is why most men that start working out to get women end up finding out that muscles don't help them attract women. Plenty of women will say that they like muscles, but they won't go after a guy just because he has muscles, there needs to be something else to go with the muscles even if that is just a pretty face. Unless you are like one of the strongest men in the world, an obsession with working out is usually not attractive. I think this type of thinking appears everywhere in dating. Moderation is key, its all about striking a balance. Too much of a good thing is bad. This is why rolled up sleeves are super sexy to women, and why men love it when women put their hair into an updoo. What is sexy is the fact that they care about their appearance, even when they do things that might get them a little dirty/sweaty etc. Because if women only liked rolled up sleeves due to it exposing a man's forearm, then they would love it when men wear T-shirts. The same goes for updoos. If the only reason why men like when girls put their hair up is because it exposes their neck/shoulders, then women could just wear updoos 24/7, but its not that, its the act of putting it into an updoo for a specific reason like doing a sporting activity or when eating. These things also sort of signal a mindset where despite caring about your appearance, you are not afraid to do things that could get you dirty. My last theory is that there is nothing sexier than embracing your strongest attributes. You don't need to put too much effort into looking good as long as you know what looks good on you. Depending on your genetics and personality, the best way to maximize your appearance is to understand what complements you the best. Should you look sexy, or cute, or pretty, or innocent, or bold? It might seem like a choice, but most people can only suit one or two of those categories. If you don't fit the category it will look like you are trying too hard. This is why I think most plastic surgery (and sometimes makeup) ends up making people look worse, because the change you make has to suit your natural features and your personality. Smaller adjustments like having a skincare routine or smoothing over small marks/pimples with makeup is usually better than spending hours completely changing your face with shadowing/contouring, or drawing outside of your lip line with your lipstick to make your lips look bigger.

Exactly. There is so much more in life than appeasing juvenile women. They'll adapt, and if not then men will just have to endure a happy life of bachelorhood.
well....beard and face shape do go hand in hand tho...there is no universal rule to beards just like everything else. what looks good on you may not look good someone else and vice versa.
Fellas. Don’t stress too much about what these ignorant women think of your appearance, they literally have to draw on their faces for 30 minutes to just achieve enough confidence to step out of their house. Level up kings.
Fun question for the comment section: Why is it that when men are resentful towards women, we assume they can't attract women but when women are resentful towards men, we assume the men are the problem or the women have been hurt.
You’re almost right but one adjustment. It’s the same as this video... if the guys are good looking but resentful, they also get the “who hurt you/ good luck to your gf”.
I never planned on having a beard. I always stayed clean shaven but I kept getting razor bumps which was ruining my skin. I never really had acne like that so I just let it grow to give my face a rest for an extra week and I kind of woke one day thinking hey it’s not to bad if I line it up. Never looked back. I only shaved it off 3 times in the past 5 years because I had surgery and didn’t want the stress of maintaining it. That and I messed up pretty bad when tracing
4:44 - "That looks nice! I like it" 7:12 - Exact same style - "I don't like that, ew" They critic the second beard for being "too clean" and "forced", while the first they liked is more of both those things. Funny how unaware they are about the fact that they're only judging the attractiveness of the faces in general and not the beards separately.
Second one just doesn’t look right but your face does matter you could have the exact Same beard for two different guys and one could be perfect and the other guys would look bad not everyone can pull off a beard
I think we can say that some women (like the blonde one) are self-aware enough to judge just the beard and not the guy himself. And some women aren't. Just like some of the women bunch the beard and attractiveness into one, we shouldn't be bunching all women into one group
That’s just wrong he made the biggest mistake of having a beard. Clean shaving the hair under the chin it makes you look like you have less of a jawline from straight on and from the side looks tooo forced and dumb if it was rounded like the other guys he would’ve gotten a better response
I am so hygienic and I'm constantly checking for anything in my beard like after eating but it's a commitment and I believe women notice this because a beard is actually a huge commitment if you have it and keep it looking good.
Second thought: towards the end several of the girls say ew - imagine that reaction from a man about a girl. The guy's beards are definitely bad but the reactions just made me think. Why is it more okay for women to have such harsh reaction about a mans looks than the other way around? It doesn't feel right.
I don’t think any of these women are bright enough to know whether they like each style of facial hair because they’re incapable of separating out their biases. They’re just evaluating based on perceived hygiene using factors other than the style itself. Would be interesting to see what they actually think about the facial hair itself.
If the fake jaw line looked good they wouldn't be hating on it. As it stands I agree with them it doesn't add to dudes face at all. Ironically if his barber kept the beard line another inch or so under his actual jawline this would've made it look way more natural and "stronger"
Yes but even if you are a little fat, you can still attract women like her. You would need to utilize the power of chewing gums for about two months chewing everyday for about 5 hours. Then you’d have the jaw line of George Clooney.
as a guy i think i can speak for us all when i say, all we learned here is if you look good then you can do whatever you want, and if not your out of luck
A lesson for all the fellas out there, complementary aspects to a look are almost always determined to be attractive first by how attractive you are yourself. This video also proves that
I've had a full beard, tache and a goatee at one time or another and there's always those who like it and those who don't. Wear a beard that makes you happy. Or don't wear a beard! Just because it's fashionable doesn't mean you have to do it 😁
Hello Courtney! I just wanted to say, as a man who wears a beard almost continually, it was taught to me nearly 30 years ago that if you are not going to shave entirely, and make shaving a regular part of your morning routine, then keeping a beard is an entire process all its own. An entire industry of razors, grooming tools, oils and balms exists out there for the PROPER keeping and care of a beard, and it is important that a young man learn these different processes. I keep my beard at about Obi-wan Kenobi length circa Revenge of the Sith, and I could pass for Ewan McGregor's stand-in. I think a lot of young men and boys growing up don't learn these processes of self-care, especially if that person is not a prominent role model in their life.
The friends you select are great. They are not here for attention and clout - nor are they trying to market themselves etc. You can tell you trust one another and enjoy each others company. This is why your channel is blowing up - its raw/authentic/genuine.

I think the general looks of the guys and the photos you chose also played a role. Most of you hated the goatee, but you wouldn't say the same thing if you see David Beckham or George Clooney or Brad Pitt with it, it just depends on the person rocking it. Go to Turkey and ask the women there on mustaches and you'll get a different answer.

2:22 that ain't a "5 o'clock shadow," that's like a 5 to 10 day growth. It's a challenge for us to hang on to that length without it getting too long, and it takes a week or two to get it. Love your vids and you look smashing in black.
alot of the girls liked the styled NOT because of the hairstyle, but because the model was super attractive. the red headed guy with the lumberjack bear/stache combo, and the blue eyed guy with the bushy mustache/shadow combo. the girl even said "i dont like mustaches" right before he came up, and then said "yeah that looks good on him." so what matters far more then the specifics of the facial hair style, is actually being good looking. ALOT easier to pull off a style if you have piercing blue eyes, and a nice square jaw
I disagree; some of it was definitely down to the style. The guy with the chinstrap looked like a professional model and all the women were still super against it. Like of course being attractive is going to help you, but picking a style of facial hair that suits you can still elevate your looks.
As a guy, I happily embrace facial hair styles of all types and what makes a person unique to their aesthetic. However, there is a difference between not caring of what people think and keeping your beard clean and well trimmed. It goes a long way and women will notice if you do it right. Yes, attractive men are going to get more leeway in this department, it's not a surprise. I'll admit that I'm not the most handsome dude or even what some women find conventionally attractive, but trimming your bread, shaping it up and a nice hair cut to compliment it will work wonders for you. And for anyone who's asking, I didn't fully grow my beard until I was about 24, so I understand the difference between having a baby face with a lot of patchiness and a full beard. It makes a huge difference to how women perceive you.
omggg I love a moustache tooo! hahahaha! It's just ironic and cute! When I met my husband he was rocking a moustache and wearing a Christmas sweater (in June), and I know..... THIS IS THE MAN FOR ME! bahahah!

That’s how women have always been, it’s not a recent thing. Good looking people can get away with more than non good looking people.

Short Story:
I knew this couple in high school, Guy could grow a beauty of a mustache, but the rest hadn't come in fully yet. His girlfriend wasn't having it and told him to shave it cause SHE didn't like it. The problem with that was she was one of those "I'm not shaving my armpits" kinda girl and the guy didn't like it but at the same time he didn't care cause it's not his body... but as soon as she started to tell him to shave, he dumped her... he said, "idgaf about your armpit hair, so you shouldn't care about my mustache." She begged him not to... 3 months later he had another girlfriend who liked mustaches and also shaved her armpits...
The End.
What a beautiful story
Lol.
Kidney touching story
He made the right choice.
🔸Lol tho armpit hair isnt facial hair,it'd be fair if she asked to shave his armpit hair but she didn't shave hers.but if she has very long facial hair & she isn't shaving it then I'd get it albeit then it'd be hisrutism (hormonal Imbalance) if it's a girl w enough facial hair n about health than shaving.good for him that he found a compatible girl.
🔸𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮
🔹tho many times relationships go smoother if ppl don't leave each other for small reasons & try to make small changes as long as they are compatible personality wise.
🔸𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧
🔹eg.armpit hair probably doesn't get in the way of anything much but if either girl/guy doesn't like their SOs arm pit hair & they have an issue, shave it if you're romancing/going out in a dress or something but give ppl a break when they're exhausted/you're sick/too busy & so on.
🔸𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜
🔹& for guys that have irritation etc while shaving can figure out shaving tips online that help them get irritated + faster ways of shaving too.
🔸𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙊𝙨
🔹but facial hair can prick your SOs cheeks so either clean shave/keeping it long if your affection involves touching your faces/cheeks side by side helps.
🔹like when kissing/while taking selfies side by side/just hugging each others faces.
🔹& keeping long moustache at proper length from not getting in your SOs mouth while kissing helps too.
🔹plus some ppls faces break out & they say it takes long to trace the source as beards can easily grow bacteria/fungi & that can give fungal infection to your SOs face. so keeping em infection free d help.
🔸𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙨
🔹if its a matter of how a beard looks then there are plenty of good trimmed beard styles that aren't too scruffy/dont hide ppls face & accentuate their features too.
🔹so there arent always two extremes like only beard/only clean shaving.
🔸𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨
🔹& may be if both sides took some advice from each other, regardless of gender from each other on styles/makeup whatever without making it about genders, it might help with their overall looks too.
🔹as sometimes we can't always figure out what looks good on us but other ppl might be able to have a more objective viewpoint.
🔹given that they have a good style choice/try to learn if they dont, but for ppl that are doing style changes multiple opinions help.
🔹point is things aren't about just looks but practicality too so its adaptable & figureoutable if they try.
🔸𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙥𝙨
🔹i understand ppl breaking up if someone doesn't adapt & they weren't very compatible any way tho & its that its hard when it comes to preferences.
🔹but breaking up if ppl were compatible other wise but not discussing these things honestly but with respect, without bullying & trying to figure out a way is quite rigid & if thats common i get the high divorce & breakup rates tho.
🔹its good that everyone isnt this rigid tho.

Red beards are more see through most of the time so I usually just go a to a duck tail or wear darker color shirts white is the worst color for red beards because it makes it look thinner then it actually is.

No. I don’t like beards at all.
grooming as well. A haircut and a trim does wonders. That being said you still need to find your style and be realistic about your body

Second one just doesn’t look right but your face does matter you could have the exact Same beard for two different guys and one could be perfect and the other guys would look bad not everyone can pull off a beard
The blonde girl is keeping it real and seems to have an A+ personality
If an attractive man has a beard, women still like it. But if the man is not good looking, a beard doesn't help.
Isn't the beard a way of help ?
It changes your face. You may look better (or worse) with a beard.
Speak for yourself, I shaved it once and I never want to see my chin again 😂😂
Disagree, sometimes covering that face up is a good thing.
A well-groomed beard definitely helps a not so good looking guy. It's like makeup for men.
Honestly, I'll grow my hair out how I like it. I couldn’t care less what people think 😂
So you care what people think?
It's "couldn't care less."
Haahahahahq
And then you'll turn around and cry about unrealistic beauty standards for men. Please.
Good for you
Yes! That's exactly right and that's how you land bushels of tail my man!
I don’t think any of these women are bright enough to know whether they like each style of facial hair because they’re incapable of separating out their biases. They’re just evaluating based on perceived hygiene using factors other than the style itself. Would be interesting to see what they actually think about the facial hair itself.
Lol so funny how they don’t like when a guy fakes a jaw line but they have no problem faking lips eyes eyelashes acne skin and more lol “ GO QUEEN”
Hair grows out their pads and make up is bought still win for that natural for men.
Facts
@@franciscocv1995 wat??
If the fake jaw line looked good they wouldn't be hating on it. As it stands I agree with them it doesn't add to dudes face at all. Ironically if his barber kept the beard line another inch or so under his actual jawline this would've made it look way more natural and "stronger"
It looks bad on everyone. Just like a neckveard is bad, a face beard is also bad.
It mostly comes down to how good the beard is trimmed/groomed and that it fits your face structure. (Low body fat percentage helps a lot)
Yes but even if you are a little fat, you can still attract women like her. You would need to utilize the power of chewing gums for about two months chewing everyday for about 5 hours. Then you’d have the jaw line of George Clooney.
Joaquins beard: ewwww
Joaquins beard literally on Mamoa: omg f me now!

Amazing how you manage to agree with literally every opinion

She's a woman, what do you expect
as a guy i think i can speak for us all when i say, all we learned here is if you look good then you can do whatever you want, and if not your out of luck
not out of luck but have to work harder at grooming
"Ew I don't like long beards" - very next picture - "Oh well he can pull it off".
That last photo had me Belly laughing 😂
Barber: Any style sir?
Man: Gimme the doughnut ring round the lips.
Barber: I gotchu

LMAO!!!
OMG what a disappointment :)
Nah more like "barber can you fuck my life up"

A lesson for all the fellas out there, complementary aspects to a look are almost always determined to be attractive first by how attractive you are yourself. This video also proves that
True. Bias in attraction is pretty inescapable. Just how people work.
God I'm proud of my masculinity.
Keep rockin it my Brothers!
So your masculinity is tied to your beard? interesting perspective.
@@controlshift975 blah blah blah. That's not what he said

Lmao, I thiught he was Jack Black. 😂
Imma be honest with you man I didn't recognize him with the glasses and the hair
He needs to shape his beard up
Fuck yeah they would!!!
Handsome man with long bushy beard: awwwww thats cute!
Ugly guy with long beard: yeah he must trim it.
I've had a full beard, tache and a goatee at one time or another and there's always those who like it and those who don't. Wear a beard that makes you happy. Or don't wear a beard! Just because it's fashionable doesn't mean you have to do it 😁
@jcorb so you’re led by women lol
I hate beard
@@andreasvandersal9837 Goatee is almost the worst, but yeah.
Excellent video, and having different women input their preferences was a great plus! Very informational!
I think so too. They're real ladies. Not just girls.
Ms. Ryan is not authentic at all. She's Ms. Susan W.'s favorite child in the UA-cam 'verse and is making money on misinformation. She's fake a/f
It’s her as well listen to what she says and her tone .. woman always need a direction and she is great at showing it ..
@@dattepo7534 Courtney's voice passes off for a 15 year old, and I can't take her advice that seriously. Actually, since my last reply I can't trust Courtney AT ALL. Yesterday, I did a Google search and she and others related to her have active criminal records. How in the hell could Google missed that and yet she has a checkmark to her handle? Don't paid content creators are required to go through a background check?
I am not slandering her, it's literally out in the open, top on search results.

Women have ZERO comments on beards! You do you KINGS!
Imagine watching this video and you’re one of the dudes they clown
What they were asked: "please rate the beard"
What they heard: "please tell us, who you would sleep with"
I think the general looks of the guys and the photos you chose also played a role. Most of you hated the goatee, but you wouldn't say the same thing if you see David Beckham or George Clooney or Brad Pitt with it, it just depends on the person rocking it. Go to Turkey and ask the women there on mustaches and you'll get a different answer.
Of course you do. Mostly because most turkish women have moustaches, too. :P

And we don't grow these to look cute, we do it to look badass.
@@joshlittle1579goatees are the ultimate bad boy symbol. Lol stone cold Steve Austin, undertaker, brad pitt, Robert Downey etc lol GTFO they like them trust me.
I think that the takeaway is that if you have facial hair of any sort, just keep it trimmed and styled, put some effort into it. Different women like different styles, so don't let anyone else dictate your look.
That’s the gist of it.
Don´t say that to the incels here who rocking that ungroomed neckbeard and complaining nobody likes them
2:22 that ain't a "5 o'clock shadow," that's like a 5 to 10 day growth. It's a challenge for us to hang on to that length without it getting too long, and it takes a week or two to get it. Love your vids and you look smashing in black.
Truth
They should do one with all these men, but the women are the ones that have to remove thier make up and get judged. Pretty much thier worst nightmare.
It's gonna take an hour to remove all of that makeup they wear.
alot of the girls liked the styled NOT because of the hairstyle, but because the model was super attractive.
the red headed guy with the lumberjack bear/stache combo, and the blue eyed guy with the bushy mustache/shadow combo.
the girl even said "i dont like mustaches" right before he came up, and then said "yeah that looks good on him."
so what matters far more then the specifics of the facial hair style, is actually being good looking.
ALOT easier to pull off a style if you have piercing blue eyes, and a nice square jaw
I disagree; some of it was definitely down to the style. The guy with the chinstrap looked like a professional model and all the women were still super against it. Like of course being attractive is going to help you, but picking a style of facial hair that suits you can still elevate your looks.
she did show a few guys's before and after photos when they had different hairstyles, maybe you should rewatch or finish watching the video
The guy with the wispy beard looked way better after he trimmed it so hairstyle does help
Fell in love when the blonde girl said “ it’s okay it’ll grow back” at 10:47😂😂
As a guy, I happily embrace facial hair styles of all types and what makes a person unique to their aesthetic.
THIS IS THE MAN FOR ME! bahahah!
Christmas sweater = husband material! Hahaha I love it!
Here Eminem's lyrics do make sense:
Look at these eyes, baby blue, baby just like yourself,
If they were brown, shady lose, shady sits on the shelf
But Shady's cute, shady knew, shady's dimples would help
Make ladies swoon, baby-ooh, baby!-look at my sales.
12:28 this is the best style out there
P.S. this guy looks like a discord mode
Girls: there is always gonna be some one there that likes you.
Also girls when they don't like someone : No Eww...
All the women passing on Joaquin Phoenix cracked me up!
this is a group of judgemental women and no one care about their perspective . chill dude!
My takeaways are
1 be put together
2 have a style that compliments your face
3 less is usually more
After that it's about having any style that you enjoy but if your looking to be attractive to woman the key are those three parts I think
forgot point "0": dont care what she thinks - its your body and it exists for you, not for her viewing pleasure.
@@michajastrzebski4383 I dare you to say the same about women. Yeah, didn't think so.
