Who’s here after watching the behind-the-scenes video of her doing this in one take?
Yes i am, that was even better tham the edited version... She was the best.
Uhh, where can I find it, please?
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅI am such a fan
@@alicephoenixpoetryjournal9062@ velvetcoke has it posted on Instagram
@@mellohi2899 omg thank you!
me
Fun fact about the whip scene:
Michelle Pfeiffer nailed the heads on the FIRST TAKE, that’s how much she was committed to the role
Looked to me they were taken off by someone else off frame as the whip cracked. Editing makes a lot of things look cooler
damn I love her even more for that!
@@NugSkinnyPig Lol okay sure. Proof's in the pudding if you watch the film.
Huddah Huddah they literally gave you the proof and the receipts
@@huddahhuddah3315 nah proof is in the bts videos that literally show her doing it. ua-cam.com/video/5vQN7b3dYTE/v-deo.html
Things I love in this movie:
- the fact it was made in 1992
- the aesthetic surrounding. Love it
- directed by Tim Burton
- the background music is made by Danny Elfman
No one can top Danny Elfman!
the darkest batman movie. I relate to MP's Catwoman so much
The Dinamic Duo Tim Burton/Danny Elfman to many movies with this 2 guys, all of them my favorites
And Michael Keaton's Batman, Pieffer's Catwoman, the Batmobile, fight scenes, and great tone.
Also the fact that it was a Christmas movie released in the summer of 1992
I feel like this movie really nailed the goofy aesthetic of earlier Batman comics. While also in it’s own way being creepy.
It's just the right mix of camp, darkness, and Tim Burton weird.
I was just thinking the exact same thing!
I think that’s why these Burton ones did so well. Was campy but was not too campy and still pretty dark. They tried to almost over do that with Batman and Robin but late 90s didn’t call for a campy super hero movie and now it’s considered one of the worst movies of all time. But realty of it is Schumacher was basing the campiness and awful action scenes of the original 60s tv show. Just wasn’t the right time and place for it and wasn’t advertised as such. If they made Batman and Robin today and full on advertised it as campy it would prob be received a lot better
It's Tim flippin' Burton. "Creepy" is his middle name. In a good way though.
Best Catwoman ever.....
Agreed.
She will always be the best catwoman out there
Agreed. They need to make movies like this again
And we now have the WORST Catwoman ever...Anne Hathaway.
@@PungiFungi and now were gonna get an amazing one - zoe kravitz
Looking back now after all these years and different Batman movies and series, Michelle Pfeiffer was the best Catwoman by far!
Oh yes, not to the mention the prettiest.
She is.
Totally agree, the rest look like cosplays lmao
Agree!
Just had this conversation walking home. Hands down my favourite Catwoman and just stunningly beautiful.
Hey Catwoman I was thinking of asking my boss for a raise.
"You're overpaid."
Hit the road!
*Whip Crack*
Runs away
that's not what he said, doode
@@ThomasJr Apparently the joke went over your head
Michael Keaton: the one Batman who could smile beneath the cowl and still look intimidating.
I don't know about you, but i would be even intimidated by a 4 year old bond to a wheelchair if he would be able to put a bundle of lid dynamite in my pants.
If only Keaton was a bit taller.
@@aeijlpanda9500 If only he was a baller.
"I don't know whether to open fire or fall in love."
"You poor guys. Always confusing your pistols with your privates."
The word "privates" seems a bit off in the official audio.
yeah, it kinda sounds like she’s saying “pry-vahts”
You overpaid! Hit the road
California Chemistry I thought she said pride
Catwoman: “Meow”
Explosion happens behind her
That part was missing from this video
I know just wanted to comment one of my favorite quotes and scenes from this movie
"I saw her first!"
I like how Keaton's Batman was still able to fight and kick ass despite wearing a very restrictive suit.
And he made it look far more believable than Christian Bale did in Nolan's Bland Knight trilogy.
Honestly the way he has to whip his whole body around to look behind him gave Keaton's Batman a kinda cool and unique physicality
@@EverythingMustG0 yea it looked menacing
Same with Catwoman. In heels too lol
Stunt double
I love how batman couldn’t move his head without turning his entire body lol
And the exaggerated "FWOOF" sound effects every time he does
Her whip skills and style are pure perfection..another of many talents of miss Pfeiffer (she's also a great singer and drawing artist)
Purrrfection❤
Batman: I don’t kill, that would make me no better than the killers
Also batman: 3:13
He died from failing to defuse a bomb
By that logic Batfleck didn't kill people the bullets did
Batman didn't kill him, the bomb did 😂
Nah that guy had like 3000 damage he good
Tecnicamente se mató el mismo con su propia arma.
I forgot how dramatic the acting was in these movies were. I love it.
"You're not the mayor"
The Penguin should've said "And you're not the police."
Your right I’m not the police...
*I’M BATMAN!*
I just love how Catwoman costume is sewn together and then how her claws look like sewing thimbles with the random metal sharp razor things on them
Have you not seen the movie?? Everything you just said is exactly what was shown in the movie. It looks like that because it is that.
3:15 that face XD
Michelle was hands down one of THE best to play Catwoman!!!
I do have to say Julie Newmar was right up there but Ms. Pfeiffer commited to the actual character.
THE best.
3:00 Wilhelm's scream
Always nice seeing the Wilhelm family getting work.
Before that, the patented offhand backhand.
That viral tweet of the 'behind the scenes' of Michelle completing the beheading-by-whip in one take brought me here... Truly remarkable and staggering!
Same
I don't know why I keep getting recommended clips of Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, but I'm not complaining.
1:45 immersion broken!! She wasn't doing her cartwheels in heels lmao
Arctic Wolf Beauty yeah she did they were just very low cut heels from what I saw
amanda atha is that supposed to be an insult ?
No ,, the heel on it was like rubber or somthing because it went completely flat when her foot was on the ground... when she stops in the next seen they are like platform boots
Wow, it's almost like movies aren't real. Did you know Batman is a fictional character too??
@@MitchellWiggs Nah, he a point, dont pull out that stupid card.
The score of this movie is the best Batman score Ever! So dark and epic
2:59 I like how Batman just hits the guy without even looking at him while passing by lol.
Right into that beautiful "Wilhelm scream"
😅😅😅😅
3:16 that does put a smile on my face
This is everything BUT the meow scene.
Adam West's Batman: Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!
Michael Keaton's Batman: Hold my beer
Loved this film coz of Michelle Pfeiffer' s catwoman! Most iconic catwoman ever!
I love how he ain't even hesitate to have the Batarang go after ol' girl, too. LOL
🤣🤣🤣
Well yeah. The Poodle Lady would've kicked his ass if he didn't
That's Equality!!!
@@davidleep1359ol girl might be taller but that doesn’t mean she can whoop him. Hence why she walked away.
@@bobbyestep3916 I wouldn't want to take my chances with a girl taller than me XD
3:14 And Y’all Say Batman Doesn’t Kill.
It's not that he doesn't kill...he just hates guns
@@HonARGUru "guns are too quick"
He also smiles
Tim Burton made movies that happen to have Batman in them, not faithful adaptations of the character
For me she is THEE Catwoman. There will never be another.
We get Pfiefers whip skill, the wilhem scream, and an iconic batman reaction image in less than 5 minutes
the scream gets me every time 🫠
This movie was so goofy and fun, I love Tim Burton.
Still the my favorite Batman movie...
This is probably the most Harley Quinn like Catwoman(which I’m a fan) I’ve ever seen. So imagine if she were in the movie.
I was thinking the same, lol
Harley Quinn couldn't even have been in the movie because Harley Quinn didn't even exist as a character when the movie came out. This came out June 1992. The first time we saw a Harley was September 1992 in the Animated Series
the elfman underscore is so precious when she jumps rope its so iconic fuck
She is definitely the best Catwoman!
When I was younger I would REWIND this over and over to see her backflip out that damn store!! 😳🤣 Iconic!! 😹 Meow!
i just realized she changes shoes midflip
1:37 Catwoman sexy look in the glass
2:24 playing with the policemen
3:00 whilhem scream
Does cartwheels, flat shoes. Lands and has heels on next shot
Good catch!
Right 👀
If you watch at 0.25 speed at 1:43 you can see the shoes have heels but they seem to be made of rubber so they squish under pressure
It wasn't Michelle Pfeiffer, it was a stunt woman who did her cartwheels in heels. Wish it was the real Michelle Pfeiffer with her own stunts, did cartwheels in heels.
you're wrong, put in slow motion. Those are heels too, freeze the image while her feet are in the air. Don't stupid it up on us.
Batman: "Things change."
Something about the interaction between the two that speaks volumes. Cant quite put my finger on it, but I love it! So very Batman. Watched this for the 3rd time on Christmas eve and i love it more with every watch.
2:21 I love the whip jumprope scene
How long-lasting of an impact has this performance had on me? Whenever I look out the glass of my front door to see if it's raining or snowing or something, I do the hand drag and feel like a cool cat. @1:38 .
Batman fighting ninja clowns. Now I've seen it all lol. Still a badass fight scene though.
I feel like a guest at a restaurant who ordered a T-bone steak with fries as was in the menu, but the waiter only serving salad and asking me for the full price of it when I saw this video's title.
Great job of cutting the actual part of the iconic "Meow Scene" before ending the video in contrast to what your video title suggested, Flashback. Great job.
3:06 his name is Rick Zumwalt, he played the final dude Stallone is againts in Over the Top, in case you wonder where you've seen him before.
'I am Catwoman, hear me roar!'
2:00 this was done in ONE TAKE! She is amazing!
She will ALWAYS be Catwoman for me. The best by leaps and bounds.
3:02-3:20 is what would have happened if Burton's Batman fought Nolan's Bane.
Exactly!
Hell yeah
Batman: I will never use guns or kill. It’s my number one rule.
Also Batman: sticks dynamite on a goons pants.
When she do cartwheel her shoes has no heels then when she jump to the floor her heels just appeared!! Lol
Wow! Real production!!! Make it great again!
Dang, this Catwoman is nuttier than Harley Quinn. And that's saying something!
The Clown 🐱
Funny thing to note, Harley Quinn didn't even exist as a character when this movie came out.
Lol at 3:14, perhaps Bull Harley should have just continued his arm wrestling career instead of trying to take on the Batman.
Best movie about Batman.
At 1:48 you can see the face of the stunt double for a split second and she is STUNNING
Just rewatched this movie a couple of days ago. I forgot how good and entertaining it actually is. I like this better than the first one also and Catwoman is propably the best thing in this movie.
0:18 Always epic! Even now at 31 LOL.
I cant get over how batman has to turn his entire body to see people 😂
Lucius: ...You want to be able to turn your head.
I like how 1992 movies like this can as clear as HD. 😍😍
30+ years and I JUST NOW realized that she holds her whip like that to simulate a cat's tail. Whoosh.
Definitivamente esa película es cruda, hermosa y wow si que te hace estremecer cada vez que la vez, eso es una película de verdad,no como las de ahora que ha sabe uno en que va a terminar...
Nope the ones you know what’s going to end is a real movie. This isn’t a real movie and it isn’t raw
@godzpeedx7ii75 A predictable movie is a real movie?? Whadduh heck?? ^^' That just blatantly tends, gravitates more to a boring one. And, excuse me, yes, this is a excellent movie!!! Especially for it isn't comprised off pleasing lowbrow expectations. It is, also, one that paved the way for many others after that. Including for the Batman: The Animated Series and all that has come after that. By the way: It actually has a rare usage of whole aesthetics, theatrical acting and action composure that does perfectly blend with the plot in their own individual function of telling much more about the story, the scenery, the dialogues and the characters themselves than the basic story-telling tools of a book most commonly have. Despite you don't like, it won't change all the merit it has - nor its craft people's in it - of allowing any other director attempt to rather make necessarily more mature, raw and dark superhero stories a "too-curious" trend to happen *since* after that. Even for those kids-friendly ones right after the tendency is out. Many people love this movie and a lot of actually true-skilled, and competent people worked on it. This movie also has the merit of being the most different possible from what's usually expected for a comics. It's not perfect, but cinema did get boring for its majority part after that period in the end. Especially whenever it tries to just fit in comprising blueprints, follow those "basic steps for success". Not to say whenever being raw for its own edginess sake also has become a trend as much stupid and imbecile as the "edgy" word itself, honestly. But I'm not necessarily pointing, nor blaming any specific other cinematographic piece out there.
Keaton's Batman fought better than Bale imo
Keaton's Batman did *everything* better than Bale's Batman.
The amazing transforming boots with the disappearing heels.
Now I need to watch this. I like the atmosphere of this movie
Batman definitely didn't kill him, he just fell asleep 3:17
Wow, this vintage version was so much better than the subsequent ones, so much more.
Vintage???!!!!!!
Did you just call a 1989 movie vintage.
@@Mysterio619Style shut up
“I don’t know whether to open fire or fall in love!”
Such an underrated statement…
The fact that she actually did the whip scene in 1 take FOR REAL makes me actually lose my mind now knowing that because they decided to cut it up instead of showing it off unedited.
Did i just hear wilhelm scream 😂😂😂
Batman doesn't kill..
Well in the Tim Burton movies he does.
Que buena película! Que buenos personajes! Inolvidable!!!
Batman vs Ninja Clowns. So silly and yet still so badass lol. Love the Burton films
I love Penguin.
Easily the most badass and intimidating Catwoman ever conceived. Makes every other Catwoman look like little pig tailed girls.
Kinda love this where this is where the Penguin is sane like his comic counterpart and he’s a gentleman.
"Meow scene" without the "meow" part. Brilliant.
UNA JOYA DE PELICULA😊...ahora recurren al CGI...
I remember for my 5th birthday I had a picture of her on my bday cake bc she was my favourite character
Batman does not kill, but that guy literally exploded ...
3:15 alright batman smug
Catwoman has got some strong fingers to do that to that panel on the wall. Her bones must be really strong. She must be drinking her milk.🤣🤣🤣3:26
Lol where is the police during all this?
Probably handling other crimes.
☕️ 🍩
2:24
Smartest security guards in movie history
“The direct approach. I admire that in a man in a mask.”
Old but gold❤
Taught bullwhip by Anthony De Longis, the same guy who taught Harrison Ford
Ahhh the good old days back when movie mooks would stand around patiently for the named character to do their thing.
God she nailed this role
Best catwoman ever!!!
It's cool how her boots suddenly grow heels after her cartwheels!
Who's come here after that behind the scenes video was found?
This will always be my Batman. "Pure. Keaton"
Can you upload the bane transformation from Batman and Robin in 4K, please🔥
1:48 lol so that's what the stunt woman looked like.
that Wilhelm scream as goon goes over the railing lol
