@@blitzwolfer4154 not just money, it takes heart. finding truly passionate writers and animators to make this is one thing, but getting enough people (other than us fans) to give them back some of our money and appreciation for an epic 3D animated fight between Batman and Deathstroke just won’t happen sadly.
They tried with Final Fantasy Spirits Within, it didn't fare well at box office.

Agreed - almost all the “boss fights” in Knight were in the tank. Knight is my fav in the franchise, but would have been way better with proper boss fights.

5:53 fun fact a lot of people don’t know this, but Batman throws his sword on the right side of death strokes eye because he’s blind on the left eye so it would catch him off guard so he would turn to look at the sword so he could get a free punch on him at the end

This same Batman gets killed 15 years later by Harley Quinn. Because she has a gun, and that’s it. Fucking hate rocksteady so much, they all shafted this game because it wasn’t made by them and then they do suicide squad and make something infinitely worse.

@@mrditkovich5634 yes and it’s not nearly as bad as some people claim. The only issue I have with it is that the map being bigger is a drawback to the gameplay because it just takes longer to get from point A to point B. Other than that it’s the exact same thing as Arkham Asylum, City and Knight.
Yeah its fucking disguising what they did to him, not to mention the god awful boss fight which is pretty much just scarecrow, yeah batman is now scarecrow 😂😂, they aren't creative anymore, the devs that made suicide squad game are not the same devs that made origins, no way, no fucking way they're the same devs.

I refuse to believe the people in charge of suicide squad, didn’t know EXACTLY who they were going to piss off by making the decisions they did when making that game. I love this fight between Batman and Deathstroke. One's a detective in peak physical conditioning and genius intellect another is a master assassin with superhuman enhancements

It was actually the plot of the Ben Affleck's Batman movie, plus, a Deathstroke solo movie made by Gareth Edwards(The Raid).

I've played it through 3 times but never read a review so this is entirely my own view. My only guess would be that half the map is the same area as Arkham City (a few years prior) so half of the map is 75% the same as the previous game, & the overall high similarity of the gadgets to Arkham City, & how in some instances they don't make sense because of how closely they mirror stuff he got access to years later that was supposed to be new then, (like the glue grenade vs freeze grenade, functionally the same). Not enough to offer anything less than a 7/10

It was slightly different from the last two Arkham games. But that slight difference is enough to trigger autismo mode in Gamers and they all jump on the hate train.
Breaking his sword and turning it basically into a dagger during a close-quarters hand to hand fight was actually advantageous for Deathstroke, since they were already brawling in grasping distance. The larger sword was mostly useless that close to each other. Batman should have known better.
Well this is still a young Batman, he's not used to enemies being this skilled.
Yea pretty badass I also like how Batman tries holding the hand of the broken katana he is holding but deathstroke swaps it over to his other hand to attack instantly. Need more Batman fights this good.

just realized Deadshot was aiming to the side of Batman and Deathstroke because of the winds in the blizzard being strong, attention to detail.
This game is insane. I spent so much time doing side quests after the ending just because i couldn't let go of it. Best of the series for me.

Good attention to detail on deathstroke's attacks when his sword starts to break. He started out with samurai style for a long sword, closed distance changed it up to short sword and finally used tactical knife fighting.
Of all the Batman movies... Only Batfleck fighting scene on BVS can match this fighting scene beauty.
And the thing is, Batfleck could have almost brought us a live action version of this fight in his solo movie.

Arkham Origins is such a great game. I could never quite understand why it got so much hate!?!
I hate how Arkham origins is being treated as the black sheep of the series where everyone talks more about Arkham Asylum, Arkham city, and Arkham knight. Dont get me wrong, they're awesome games as well but I feel that Arkham origins gets a bad rep for being the only game that was not developed by Rocksteady as well as not having well known voice actors like kevin Conroy and mark Hamilton. Out of all the Arkham games, Arkham origins has the best boss fights period. As much as I enjoy Arkham origins, it doesn't get the respect that it deserves like the others. We should already have an Arkham origins remastered by now and not just the other ones
because Origins sucks ass and nowhere near as good as Arkham series.

I just love the choreography of this fight. It's a shame we don't get this often. As brief as it was, I still found small things that really elevated the fight for me.

Great analysis although, I’d argue it wasn’t a mistake on Batman breaking the sword. Since the sword is broken Deathstroke is forced to use it as a dagger and less effectively

@@LordChrome375 I think the primary reason it isn't a mistake is because he (Batman) is prepared for the implication of breaking the sword. If it was like "oh shit, now he has a dagger in close combat" then it'd have been a mistake.... but BM is well aware of what he is doing, so he stays one step ahead. He is essentially dictating how Deathstroke will fight for a moment (Edit: Which gives BM easier reads and more opportunity to take more control) so its a circumstantial advantage for Batman. The best kinds of advantages to take are the ones that your opponent wont detect. Especially if they think the advantage is theirs
This fight is a bit brawly for sure, but I'd say Deathstroke is doing a lot more reacting vs Batman who is doing more orchestrating.

This shows more accurate Batman then any game movie. Master hand to hand combatant even against other skilled adversary. Then goes into detective mode analysing the bullet and deducing who shot it.

I love guys fight, also in my opinion when it comes to a regular no powers batman this the strongest version, his hand to hand combat ability is unprecedented and he was able to lock up his entire remaining rogues gallery in one night, it’s taken the main universe his entire career to attempt to put all his villains away

If you didn't know, WB Montreal wanted to have multiple fights with Deathstroke in the final game. I wish we had gotten to have that in the final product, but the game had to be pushed out quickly to pad time between City and Knight.

Their encounters with Batman only lasts 1-3 seconds before they are knocked out. They literally only see a big giant black mist that just appeared out the dark and next thing they know they are in hospital with a few broken bones , handcuffed to the bed with Gotham police asking questions lol

Batman finding out Joker was the one behind all in Arkham origins is by far the best crime scene investigation in the entire Batman Arkham series! That bgm was spectacular! While playing that sequence I literally felt like I am watching a badass Batman movie at the same time a badass Batman Game! Very sad that this game didn't get the reception it deserved!
