I really hope this series keeps going. I don’t get all the people complaining about it being to dry or not fun enough. It’s supposed to be educational, I recently got 3 of my friends in sc2 because of these guides and they like the fact that it’s a serious and structured guide.
I think people complain because the ladder is wilder in term. Of cheese and builds. A lot of pig's viewer were going for B2gm macro build and the viewers want to know Ho to respond to wild cheese.
@@Kradukmanthey should petition to start a new guide for handling different kinds of cheeses from all 3 races. Instead it seems people want to pull support from a guide that’s meant to get new players into StarCraft while showing them the proper fundamentals of the game because they are bored.
@@13YoJest13 I think in general that you can defend with his build. Except maybe for ça on rush. Or you don't know the response to a 12 pool or baneling all in. These response are better in the ladder version but you can find that in vibe B2gm or even the previous pig's B2gm. Also you don't get much info from the scouting in this version since almost no one is going for an aggressive build (even if the response in lower league is generally macro, build. On high ground, wall of and bunker).

Pig I made it to diamond today! After a bronze placement last season, first time D as terran and dare I say playing much better than my diamond protoss of the past. Thank you so much! Great series PiG, I started playing a month and a half ago and I’ve hit Plat thanks to this guide. But I’ve been plateauing hard floating in low plat. It feels like if I haven’t won the game with my first big attack with our first army, then I will struggle in the late game due to a lack of game knowledge. Not sure how to improve at learning how to properly respond after 10 min? I’ve also struggled into builds where there’s a lot of early aggression. I’ll try my best to defend and play up the ramp but I’ll make mistakes that lead to losses. Especially struggling vs P and storm. I usually get stuck outside their 3rd or 4th trying to creep in to their base. Not necessarily asking for exact responses, just looking for resources to understand the game at a deeper level.
Low plat is a battle and not as easy as the UA-camrs make it look lol. Another guy on UA-cam called vibe has a good series which helps with the 10+ mark. But just so you know it took me 1400 games to go from plat to d3 with Protoss. 600 with Zerg after knowing a bit about the game. Having a battle with Terran. I think there is a sweet spot between the two guides

Hi PiG! Thank you for your guides, they got me to about 3k MMR with Zerg, now I want to learn some Terran because losing to Terran makes me feel SALTY. So, considering the recent changes to the Widowmine, would you still recommend this build for TvZ? Is it fine as is, or do you suggest changing some things? Thanks again, have a nice day!
hey, I'm zerg diamond2, I wanted in 2024 to reach diamond with all 3 races, my terran was plat 3, with about 5 games a day, it took me 3 weeks to reach diamond, I had to study and learn standard build for all matchup and study my replay and say, right now I should build this or that, as rehearsal, so today I've reached diamond and I'm very proud of myself, it was hard. I also beaten a smurf who leave all the matchup he doesn't like. I played at my best and it was super rewarding. next is diamond as protoss, it should be easier since protoss is the no skill amove easy race hahaha
In the first game vs Terran how does PiG not risk gettting steamrolled by just about anything in the first five minutes or so ? He has a reaper, a tank and a couple of marines. I would have thought just about any "early timing" build would wreck him. Like say 6-8 hellions showing up and blowing past the bunker and killing every single SCV at the natural and possibly forcing the natural to lift and retreat....Or even a liberator or a battlecruiser showing up. How fast can a Battecruiser be out ? It's about 4 minutes if I'm not mistaken
Just drop hotkey + left click on the medivac (repeat for each medivac). After that you can keep giving other commands and they'll keep unloading until empty or given a stop command

As a plat 2 Terran I feel like the first 3-5 games of this episode are guaranteed losses for any normal plat player. The mechanics he needed to use to win aren’t plat lvl. Idk how the opponents are ranked but it ain’t plat.
Hey Pig, are these opponents just queued up opponents? I am guessing the opponents are given the opportunity to be selected for viewership but I think that kind of ruins the B2GM concept. I am a fan of chess and the 0 to hero format but its flawed if the opponents don't just get randomly queued. Sorry for the negative viewpoint, I am grateful to have a guide that really works to follow regardless! PS I don't think slowing down in speed adds or detracts from the realism. If the build is good and the mechanics are good it works regardless of the opponent. It is proof of concept.
The way this B2GM series works is that he asks for volunteers in his Twitch chat within a certain MMR range (in this video would be the MMR range for Platinum players). So they have skills that are representative for that league. I was the DT Protoss. For this episode, one of the mods just took down our MMR and race and then created the lobbies for the custom match. I wasn’t told to do a specific build, wasn’t asked if I had a build in mind, was simply given my choice of map. I was just picked in the order that I entered the chat. No other qualifications except that my MMR was within the range. The reason he’s not doing this on ladder is due to smurfing issues. He has a video about this at the beginning of B2GM where he explains the moral/ethical dilemma this posses (enjoyment of viewers at the expense of all the players that didn’t sign up to get stomped by a former pro player).
I really hope this series keeps going. I don’t get all the people complaining about it being to dry or not fun enough. It’s supposed to be educational, I recently got 3 of my friends in sc2 because of these guides and they like the fact that it’s a serious and structured guide.
