To be happy, you need to be shameless and realize that whatever happens to you, it will happen, and you will get through it like always. It’s easier said than done, but it’s true. Do you want to know why most people don’t have anxiety? Because they are shameless, often feel a bit of anger, and are completely thoughtless-or focus on what they are doing. The problem for people like us is overthinking. We think too much, and by doing so, we ruin our lives. We are too sensitive and too scared, we need more edge, be more shameless and focus on people around, not on ourselves.
Same here. They say, "if you're anxious you're too much in the future. If you're depressed you're too much in the past." That being said, I'm juggling advancing my career vs stagnating my small business to save for my first house. I'm justifiably stressed, just not better off for it efficiency-wise.
Had a GAD diagnosis with panic episodes in my mid 20's. It suuuuucked. I eventually learned coping techniques and the triggers to avoid but always had that low level anxiety/stress even into my 40's. For the last year or so since being put on blood pressure meds, I actually kind of feel normal. That subconscious mental check I perform on myself when in a stressful situation is met with calm now instead of a fight or flight response. It's pretty remarkable.
I’ve had anxiety issues before . I believe it comes from childhood , how your parents raised you and shaped you . I came from a seriously dysfunctional home where confidence was trampled on . I had a total nutcase of a mother and a father who had an ego problem so it was only fair to assume I would have some sort if issues . What has helped me over the years is just teaching myself to not give a f%@$ about what’s apparently normal and just embrace me . I’m different and I couldn’t care less what anyone thinks .
"Normal" people can't really relate to someone with anxiety disorder. I had some bouts as a teenager, so can relate to some degree, But - if you have a disorder, its completely on another level. I have a relative who has experienced a disorder, and I'd be going on my merry way not realising they are totally losing it inside. Thats the other issue, as a "normal" person, it's hard to see (visually) what they are going through. It takes tons of patience to understand. As a "normal" person, we can have all the same thoughts as you, but those thoughts are "dialled down" to degree, from 11/10 to a 1 or 2 most of the time. Those thoughts come, but then they go, we can let them go, they dont TAKE HOLD and CONSUME you. Obviously therapy can help, and tons of people give advice. You have to find your own way to calm your nerves. Exercise, meditation, environment? Just remember that it could be you are "super-sensitive", which has advantages "normal" people don't have, and we will never know these other insights into life. You are enriching peoples lives in your own way. I still can't get that banana out of my head!🤣
Ill try to help you out if i can. Being relaxed most of the time feels like your mind is "quiet". The racing thoughts just dont happen, and thats sort of all it is like. If i drive to the grocey store, ill probably put on the radio and listen to a song while i drive . When i get there ill just walk in and go directly for what i need to buy. I always make sure i got everything i need and i pretty much just focus on myself and what im doing. The one big thing i hope you read here is that people arent thinking your ugly or weird. I can attest that atleast most people really dont think about the appearances of others except for lets say, if they were on a date. We see you ofcourse but we arent evaluating you on that kind of level when your just in public. I really hope this helps!! 😊❤
I approach each situation with no pre-conceived ideas, no agenda, and no plan other than knowing what I need to do. I long since stopped caring what most people (strangers) think. I usually dress for comfort not style, and I create time for myself every day. You mentioned the word "normal". I don't believe it exists as a concept. We are all a very complex mix of many things, some easy to change, some very difficult to change. I'm not sure if any of this can help in any way, but it might, so here it is. I hope you find some contentment and figure out how to stop creating things to deal with.
Update :- firstly i never comment on any video on youtube, but i once commented on one of your video because i relate to you soo much.(27yrM) I commented that once my exam is over, im gonna start therapy and you should try it too. Tht was about 9 months ago. I didnt start therapy untill 3 months ago, i was very afraid. Its been 10-11 sessions till now. It felt the therapist talked about useless shit, but now retrospectively i see my depression and anxiety a little alleviated. What im trying to say is if u are thinking of therapy(you mentioned it in a video like 10 days ago) id recommend it. Its gonna feel out of place for first few sessions, but it might help you as its doing for me. Whats there to lose? I know its costly. Even i didnt have any money, now i am working (a very basic pay,but i have money to take therapy now). Also it gives me a lot of joy seeing you and your new life. A fiancee, new home, new city, new friends. It gives me hope that one day i will also have a gf. Just have to be as brave as you... Wish u luck❤
You are: someone who was confined in isolation, and then given complete freedom like other adults, and you are learning again how to be free and responsible for your actions. Of course this assumed person lacks a lot of social etiquette and norms and standards. To me You: a person who is doing fine and you are O.K. in all your things even in your charm and personality. Good luck to you!
Having no anxiety feels like when you play fortnite and think only about that current focus with no relation to anything else, but having that instance in real life.
I have generalized anxiety disorder, but i've found that caffeine puts it into overdrive - quitting caffeine goes a long way, sometimes I wonder if my caffeine intake over the last 2 decades is what caused it... SSRI + no weed, no caffeine, no alcohol gives me a lot of peaceful days/nights
I know exactly what it feels like to have no anxiety. I had no anxiety when I was a kid up till about 13. You could put me in the middle of a Taylor Swift concert with tens of thousands of people and I wouldn’t think anything of it. You just don’t think about what will happen if you say or do something awkward. The thoughts just don’t enter your mind. I think I was lower iq though. You just sort of enjoy everything around you, even the negative. It’s difficult to not think negatively about people these days. Specifically people give me anxiety. When I’m in the middle of a forest, no anxiety. I wish I could get that feeling back, except with people around.
I was in your position for many years, I am kinda free from it now Suggestion 1. Have a goal for future ( anything like a degree, skill or craft or something,) 2 have a structure ( planned day, week, month and year) 3 workout ( jogging everyday for 30 min for 3 months helps) 4 anti anxiety drugs ( just to get out of the ditch and start building a life) It helps...! It has for me....!
Look into breathwork like the Wim Hoff method and/or yoga. Most of us are shallow breathers. We need to breathe more at a slower pace and through the stomach. It will calm down your nervous sytem. Try practicing before you go to bed. It will help you sleep better at night and if you keep a regular practice, your anxiety will greatly reduce. I used to have bad anxiety and after practicing yoga for the first few years, my anxiety was pretty much gone.
One thing I have learned over the years is that people really don't pay much attention to other people around them and if they do see other people doing something it is rare to think they are weird or something. You look like a very normal person and if you wear normal clothes and act normal then no one will even give you a second thought, well, unless you are being check out by someone who thinks you are attractive. But I know your anxiety won't let you think this way even though your logical self can understand it perfect fine. So what is it like? Well, you know how it feels to walk into your own kitchen when no one is around and get a snack out of the cupboard? Basically there are no feelings surrounding something like that. That is how it feels to leave home, drive to the store and go buy stuff. If anything for me it's kind of annoying just because I don't like shopping. Although I will say that very crowded stores can be overwhelming with the people and noise even fore those of us without anxiety.
I have anxiety/panic disorder, depression, ocd, Aspergers & PTSD. Xanax & marijuana brings me peace or as close to normal as possible. Even had old classmates ask me why i acted so normal now & when i told them they just stared in disbelief. I just laughed
31 never really go out, off work, no friends. People tell me to just crack on. Impossible. If I work, Monday, Every other day I panick thinking, well I cant relax on Tuesdays because Wednesday is next and thats almost the weekend, and the weekend I need to be ready monday
What is normal, i have never met a normal person. I have lived with GAD for 45 years, never calm, never relaxed every day has been a fight but i think the only way to improve is to take small steps outside your comfort zone. I'm 59 with a wonderful wife and two sons but i had to fight really hard to live with my Anxiety and still do. I never stop thinking and i worry all the time. You seem such a nice person, do you like music? As my music really helps me to battle through.
I suspect your anxiety is greater than mine as going to a store or being in public is not a stress. But you are normal. I can tell you that if you were to be preoccupied in thought by some desire, need, task, . . . Your other frequent stresses would be removed during the process. So it may be a matter of getting your mind off stressful things onto something fun, or working on accepting things as being okay.
For example . . . Say you have a child who is sick and needs medicine from a pharmacy. I suspect that your fears will be put aside in order to take care of the kid.
I had no anxiety till 23 y.o. Then my life changed....panic attacks live with me...((( But when you don't feel anxiety it meens freedom..For me it is freedom.... I don't think i will get it one day again...But i am trying to live...
For what it is worth most of us are on your side. Please think you are one special person as most of us are in our own way. Bless you , sweetheart, and you find your own ways to relax.
You have a great mental capacity with the consequent activity, also great. Anxiety is a sign of this, and each with his capacity, some a bucket and others with a timble. It becomes problematic when it incapacitates you to cross a street with a green light without worry. Your partner will help you get throug it, you're good enough, both of you together.
Anxiety is normal for some under environmental stressers. Stress is different for everyone. Stress is normal. The vamperic ant stamp is a stressor.vamperic ant stamp is the fictious way of the day.
Follow up to my other comment: you are objectively good looking. Youre objectively attractive. Anyone who says youre not is not being honest, theyre just trying to hurt your feelings or at worst, manipulate you. People tell literal supermodels that theyre ugly; theyre doing it for that same reason. As a sensitive person, you believe them.
All people have a level of anxiety in their daily life in actions like going out or driving, cause it is a protective mechanism given by nature to secure life. When the anxiety level is high and constant as you desrcibe your situation it becomes a disorder but you can get rid of it or at least minimize it in good or extreme good levels. Mediation is a huge help. You are a pretty nice looking girl so please dont say you feel you are ugly. And yes some people can find you kind of strange when while you are outside you are overthinking and have a strange expression in your face, but this doesn't mean the think you are mad to them and even if some believe it, they never bother you, so ok. I think you personally try to find your limits in behaviour to see what is wired and what is not. When for expample you make videos and talk while eating a babnana or someting else, which noone does, i guess this is to drow attention and then see in comments the feedback you get. Maybe you had lot of attention from your parents and try to find how it works with unknown people or maybe you had not enough attention and you still experiment with your ways to communicate with others. There can be anxiety because of a shock, or because of genes or whatever but anxiety is something you can reduce as i said before. Guess what. There are lovely people all around even if the majority is or seems to be mean. We live in a world where wars are still going on but also movements for human or animal rights become bigger. And you have a very sweet fiance and us here. Feel loved and dont judge yourself when at times you relaspe in old structures of thinking for hours or a day. While you fight for a better life and make new experiences your brain makes the happy hormon release connections stronger and because of neuroplasticity they will get stabilized in a more better way, says science. Google "science study ncbi anxiety meditation" and you find a lot of scientific studies telling you exactly this. Then google "mindfulness meditation" or "samatha meditation" or simple "meditation" and start trying methods. Try yoga also sweet cutie patootie. 😘🥰 I had panic attacks after my youth and could heal myself without medication within six months but still had rare attacks for two more years and then they left forever. When i am too stressed and afraid that i can have a panic attack i instantly relax myself with meditation even while walking and i never had a panic attack again. To meditate does not mean you must be religious or spiritual. Lots of love princess. 😍👍🙏
On a side note, do you think perhaps your waitressing job was a catalyst to your current state of anxiety? When I worked retail, this was a thing for me with lasting effects. In a way helped though too.
I'm too relaxed and don't have enough axiety so it takes lots of caffine to feel a natural axiety level. Its hard to live in the millisecond and really get something done so i lift weights really hard to slightly feel somewhat pumped.
I used to get harassed by my bosses (one who was my cousin) about my anxiety. It was great! I found out later one of them was on anxiety meds. I think the worst anxiety I’ve ever experienced I a “normal” situation was getting a Pap smear. So many women can get it done and not flip out like me. Anyways, a lot if people are on anti anxiety meds and just seem like they are doing well.
i once took magic mushrooms and this is exactly how i felt, i was on an field in the middle of the night when i saw lights and i freaked out. suddenly a huge harvesting machine apeared out of nowwhere and i started too laugh maniacally, next day i didnt go to work. i thought I would stay forever that way but I didnt. the biggest trick to stay calm is to not give a damn about it. normaly a harsh childhood prepars you for life, you learn to overcome trauma. But many parents make the mistake and protect their children to much and this children become whiny, mentaly weak people who gets mocked for that. Also shock therapie helps, dont avoid uncomfortable situations, search them , embrace them, learn you have nothing to fear. I think making youtube videos makes you a brave person, i have no problems with grocery shoping or talking to strangers but a youtube video where i talk about my feelings? i couldnt. i guess every person have its weak points.
I have anxiety when I think about sky diving or going on a blind date, but overall I'm not worrying about tomorrow or what people think of me because I don't care. People are stuck in there own bubble of reality and non of us will ever understand another person's mental idiosyncrasy's, so why would we ever put any value in what others think of us? I just don't care and maybe that's the key to living a more stress free life, I also view human behavior as a comedy, I'm just not taking it seriously. People say crazy shiiii and that's to be expected and sometimes it's better then a comedy. If you want to see hilarious human behavior watch season 7 of love is blind.
And completely change her pampered city lifestyle? Heh. That's a big no-no for any modern women... "introverted" or not :D This channel is a typical e-girl blog. I don't believe anything she says, lol
Hi. Drinking helps one relax. It's not healthy and must be done in moderation though. Marijuana is another calming drug. You can buy games if you don't like the harshness of smoke.
I have never had anxiety. What is Anxiety even like? Why do you have anxiety? I stay relaxed mentally and physically. To be calm is easy. You just do not think about the negative. If nothing else then just wonder what is next. Like when driving. I stay mentally fixed on how good the restaurant is going to be. I stay positive. Or how good the store visit is going to be. When Meeting someone new, I think of the positive and the good things. Simple.
Unfortunately, I don't let other people's issues affect me unless they are my own children....in other words, I Still Don't Care. (But, pets are different 💓💓)
Want some temporary relief? Have you ever tried squats, even with only body weight? Push-ups? Do you have somewhere to jog? I guarantee you forget about your anxiety, even if only for a moment. But then make a routine out of it, then you will have a moment of temporary relief to look forward to every day. :)
I Exist you are a complex piece of work. Trust me way above average looking woman. You made me laugh when you said when you step out of your house you feel everyone is looking at you. Maybe the people that you think are looking at you through their windows or at the store are thinking “She is really pretty wish I looked like her.” Or “She is hot I wish I had enough guts to talk to her.” You just have to get the attitude I don’t care what people think.
Just for the sake of experimentation, it might be interesting for your boyfriend to try to take you to a rock concert. Literally on the floor, though, not in the seats. Just to see how you take it all in. Something like BABYMETAL. That's the best concert to take a girlfriend. It's probably literally the only band that would be able to relax you.
Ok I don't know how many years you have lived with anxiety but the thing that I know is that after years of feeling anxious and depressed your body is addicted to it I know it might sound odd but its true, the way you talk about is like even in your sleep you are awake always thinking about something so your body receives that dosage of anxiousness, you want the brutal truth? people will tell you big quotes like " live in the moment" or " overthinking is the thief of joy" dude you have to get to the root of this. one day wake up and just be like why tf Am I even anxious?. ask your body these questions break the cycle of always being the victim. get what I am saying? break the habit of being yourself.
I'm only gonna tell yall this once so listen up. Whatever "Anxiety" you're "suffering" from is irrelevant! If you're not enduring physical, mental, psychological, or sexual abuse (or all of the above) on a daily basis then you have no reason to complain about having "Anxiety" Most of the time whatever you're worrying/stressing over turns out to be not as bad as you thought (In fact actually quite simple) You're just lazy & allowing yourself to be ruled/lead by fear! So don't even bother wasting your time worrying over nonsensical 'What Ifs' or what have you & just take some responsibility & get whatever it is you need to get done, DONE! That being said if you do if fact have recurring anxiety take the time to find out why, find the root cause, ask yourself why you're feeling this way in the first place, have the self-awareness to locate the source of your anxiety before hand! Knowing & actually addressing what's causing to have anxiety is the first step to overcoming it, It's quite simple David.
Go to therapy it will help u so much u will be amazed. You need to heal, you are not stupid that's being in alert state, life is not shit you are feeling pain in every interaction. Search for professional help you have deep trauma. That step will improve your life like u cant imagine. No anxiaty is freeing, pleasurable, life becomes like a sweet. Get that help
nobody is relaxed......why do you think people take drugs and smoke dope.......you need to talk to a professional on your outlook of life and get real answers
It's pretty obvious from an outside observer that your strict parental upbringing combined with strict religious upbringing has ingrained this anxiety into you. You do need therapy, and should consider medication. I grew up strictly religious (and i became a neurotic, nervous, guilt-ridden adult). avoidant of everything. I got better and you can too but you gotta get medical intervention.
Hi. I feel so so bad for you. I have never experienced chronic anxiety. I guess you would call me one of the "normal" people. I feel calm all the time unless I do have some sort of stressful event or situation. I would strongly suggest seeking out professional Therapy. Living a life of torture, no. Seriously I believe your life can change. Please think about getting professional help.
@@bobdenk6944 Thanks for your comment. It’s often hard for me to believe that someone could be so calm. It’s what I dream of for myself. I really should seek help. I gotta take care of myself. Thank u, God bless u
You need to put yourself out there regardless of the fear. Feel the fear and do it anyway

Suggestion
1. Have a goal for future ( anything like a degree, skill or craft or something,)
2 have a structure ( planned day, week, month and year)
3 workout ( jogging everyday for 30 min for 3 months helps)
4 anti anxiety drugs ( just to get out of the ditch and start building a life)
It helps...! It has for me....!
1. You're not ugly quite the opposite.
2. When most people are obnoxious and self-centered, being weird is a good thing.
3. Normal is subjective.

Human beings are anxious creatures but some are more capable of finding peace within anxiety and some don't or just struggle.

I think she is beautiful 😍
What is Normal??? To everyone it is something different. Be yourself first and worry about the other stuff after. Be true to you!
I suffer through anxiety alot and I absolutely hate it more than anything
Well i dont have anxiety in my life for many years, my life is very chill, for some could be boring, but i like to live all days in same way...
I know plenty of rich people without a shred of anxiety.
Maybe you should try a less populated area. I wish you the best in finding your peace. The city is not for everyone.
And completely change her pampered city lifestyle? Heh. That's a big no-no for any modern women... "introverted" or not :D
This channel is a typical e-girl blog. I don't believe anything she says, lol
Hi. Drinking helps one relax. It's not healthy and must be done in moderation though.
Marijuana is another calming drug. You can buy games if you don't like the harshness of smoke.
Holy crap, you drive now? Congratulations. That
's a huge accomplishment
Thank you! It’s been so hard. I’ve been practicing 5-10 min drives almost daily. I’m gonna keep going. I don’t wanna give up.
She needs to learn that indifference is the prevailing attitude of one stranger toward another.
The only time i don’t have anxiety is when i’m drinking wine, otherwise I’m always fearing the worst 😳
Simple.
because the ride never ends... until it does
Unfortunately, I don't let other people's issues affect me unless they are my own children....in other words, I Still Don't Care. (But, pets are different 💓💓)
I have no clue . Anxiety since a small baby is all I know.
Congrats on 21k followers! 🎉
Want some temporary relief? Have you ever tried squats, even with only body weight? Push-ups? Do you have somewhere to jog? I guarantee you forget about your anxiety, even if only for a moment. But then make a routine out of it, then you will have a moment of temporary relief to look forward to every day. :)
It's chill. You should try it
p.s. Life IS suffering. There's no escape. But it's possible to relax into it, like an animal
@@Gt11369 thank you. That helps a lot
If you have anxiety in the morning have breakfast it will help reduce cortisol then meditate then go on a hot girl one hour walk
I relate with so much of what you said 😞

I have had anxiety all my life so I couldn't tell you
Have you seen the movie, 'High Anxiety'?. It's Hilarious! .. and a classic. Directed by Mel Brooks.
What is anxiety
