these honest videos really help me, the stuff you say very much expresses all the thoughts i had up until a few years ago, and which memories i repressed. this kinda reminds me why i am how i am now. if you want my honest opinion, i think everybody should talk to a psychologist at least once every few years. but everyone has another opinion on whats the best way to deal with negative stuff, some say its fitness, art, medicine, partying, nature, getting a career or whatever ... people are assholes. or at least it seems like society kind of randomly has a bad influence on individuals, like group dynamics, like if everyone puts someone else first. it feels like there are no good people even if it is just a random result of a 100 individuals thinking for themselfs.... anyway good luck to you and thanks for sharing

Yes there are bad people out there but it’s up to you to realise situations you should be ok in and the ones that maybe high risk . I’ve had anxiety issues before . I believe it comes from childhood , how your parents raised you and shaped you . I came from a seriously dysfunctional home where confidence was trampled on . I had a total nutcase of a mother and a father who had an ego problem so it was only fair to assume I would have some sort if issues . What has helped me over the years is just teaching myself to not give a f%@$ about what’s apparently normal and just embrace me . I’m different and I couldn’t care less what anyone thinks .

I’m 51 years old and from what I have learned in life to this point is that you need to embrace who you are . Who cares what society thinks and who cares about people who have allowed society to condition them to think and believe in a certain way . I have a partner And two children , I don’t do social occasions and can’t stand being around people . I have two dogs that I spend a lot of time with and I like to shut myself away in a bedroom and play guitar . That’s the extent of my life , sometimes I wonder if I’m enough for my partner and maybe she will get board of me . However I am what I am and I’ve learned to accept it and realise there is a certain power in being something different to all the other people in the world who can’t think for themselves .

Every human being has anxiety. There is no such thing as no anxiety. It might be as low as a 1 or .5 on a scale out of 10, but it’s there. The important thing is to just have healthy levels of anxiety and not psyche yourself up over the fact you feel anxious.

Had a GAD diagnosis with panic episodes in my mid 20's. It suuuuucked. I eventually learned coping techniques and the triggers to avoid but always had that low level anxiety/stress even into my 40's. For the last year or so since being put on blood pressure meds, I actually kind of feel normal. That subconscious mental check I perform on myself when in a stressful situation is met with calm now instead of a fight or flight response. It's pretty remarkable.
