I have never wanted a Foundation Stock. After seeing John speak, I will be ordering one to support people with his amazing attitude that run American businesses.
When I was in the process of building my 6mmBR I reached out to Eric Cortina and asked what stock he had for his 6mmBR. He told me that he had a Foundation Stock. Second match with my foundation tomorrow. I really love this stock and the support foundation provided. My gunsmith lost my action screws and foundation had replacements in the mail the same day without charge. I'm a firm mid pack shooter, but last match I finally broke into top 10. Awesome stuff.

I shoot PRS and a year and 1/2 ago I switched to the Foundation stock and love it. The feel, the balance and the dynamics of it are fantastic. More than the stock, being that I live in Oklahoma and have gotten to know the Truitt's it is a pleasure to shoot their stock and see them at matches. The PRS community is great and the Truitt's are a big part of that greatness. Anywhere you see them it is evident what their foundation is because they live it in everything they do.
Love my Genesis 2. The Micatra material really does have a different impulse on recoil that I like. Thanks to John and his wife for their "personal" customer service also.
I’ve got a couple. They hey absolutely hammer, and are tough. The elegant design Lends itself to being more robust than chassis with lots of bolted together parts
As a fellow small business owner, it's always fantastic to see good businesses succeed. Now, if only we had inlets options that weren't just Rem700 clones ......

You have to appreciate someone that makes a quality product. And is not afraid to say that they are a Christian. A person's Jewish or Muslim. It's usually very apparent when you deal with their business. But not so much with Christians. If I can afford it, I would love to use one of these stocks as a nice heavy hunting rifle. I use a good sling I don't need my rifle away 4.10 pounds.

I would have really liked to have a foundation rifle stock for my gun, but unfortunately here in Austria it is extremely expensive (customs and taxes) so it doubles the usual US price. And I'm not a professional shooter, just a beginner - so unfortunately, unfortunately, it turned out to be a different rifle stock...
@@k2svpete I respectfully disagree with your statement. Within reason a person could save up for something. But PRS is a rich man’s sport. I would love to shoot longer range, I do my best within my budget. My whole rifle with optic cost less than$2000 bucks about 15 years ago. I did a lot of the work myself and found a used stock online for less than 150 bucks. If I built a complete rifle these days for PRS type shooting, I would spend more than that on the optic. An action and barrel is another 2 grand, one of these sticks is 1300 or so, the trigger, and accessories. You are pushing 6 grand, if I build it myself. Then there is the loading dies, brass, , bullets, powder and primers if you can even find that stuff. That’s a metric crap ton of cash for a guy like me. I know a couple of pretty ladies who were given nice rifles over the years but I don’t meet the qualifications for that. Lol.
@possumpopper89 mate, neither do I 😆. I run a factory Tikka action and trigger with a barrel I won off a prize table with a second hand MDT ACC chassis. My scope is great for me, but not a Khales, NF etc. My reloading components were purchased off guys getting out of 6.5 and into the 6mm cartridges. I run my own small business and have a young family. Money isn't plentiful but I set aside enough for my shooting. I only shoot at competitions (once a month) and dry fire in between. I'll never get to be in the top tier without further commitment and investment but that's okay. I still love the sport and can get on the podium on a good day.

IMHO: ALL OF THESE "PHENOLIC/MICARTA" PLASTIC STOCKS ARE VERY HEAVY. THEY'RE NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN A "LAMINATED WOOD STOCK, EXCEPT FOR THE HEAVY WEIGHT... IT'S ABOUT THE SAME DENSITY MATERIAL AS A "BOWLING BALL"...
