Hey! So many advice groups on FB! Which one to pick? They come in all sizes an flavors. Some have become a police state that censors every post admin does not agree with. This in effect controls the narrative and pushes an agenda that is not necessarily in the best interest of the guinea pigs. The only solution I could think of was to create our own group where the "rules" are currently actually non existing and no questions asked to be allowed to join. Man, Saskia is such a wonderful lady, and it's obvious she really cares for piggies' wellbeing, seeing as she does this for free. She'd rather make no direct profit from it, just so that piggies in the area (and her viewers) get the best possible care. Amazing, beautiful woman. Her furbabies are lucky to have her!
Bamba looks SUPER FLUFFY, his fur is so shiny! And he’s so round and chubby and super adorable! And I’m glad he’s all cleaned up now. lol

My wife showed me this when I woke up. 12 hours later we were cleaning our boys. Our skinny pig had a lot of gunge up there. The stench is real. I had to put my old motorcycle earplugs up my nose.

Piggy pimple! My piggies would become impacted with what I called mud butt. I had to clean them out roughly every other day. Moved to a dry food diet and it would clear up a little but I still had to check. Thanks for the cleaning video, that is important for piggy parents to know how to keep the boys clean. Also Bamba is a huge piggy!

I just came from the vet with my Peanut. When I asked the vet if they do boar cleaning he made biiiig eyes. So I patiently and politely explained what it is and how you do it, demonstrated on my piggie and paid full fee for the visit... Saskia - you are a walking cavy encyclopedia! What would the world do without you and your tutorials?
I really admire Saskatoon. She is so gentle with the piggies. She talks to them like human and it seems to make them relax. They trust her. She has a fabulous relationship with them. I love her laugh. She’s so cool!
Thank you for the video. I recently adopted a boy from my local shelter. I haven’t had pigs since I was younger. It’s good to know how to keep my boy clean and healthy.

Thank you for teaching me about the sack. I have two males and the one is almost 3 and after I saw another video about the sack, I checked him out. Sure enough he had a little bit of stuff in the sack. I checked the other one just in case and he did not have anything. Thank you very much for helping me to care for my piggie babies.

I never knew that we had to do this to our boys until I noticed he wasn’t fresh looking in his private are. I searched your videos and learned how to clean our baby boy, needless to say he was actually pretty comfortable me cleaning him and now he’s nice and fresh, although he was pretty clean.

The longer you’re fussing around, wrapping and rewrapping Bomba the more nervous he gets. Speed, security and accuracy are the key. I’ve lanced and squeezed, drained and disinfected many a cyst. (PS the white puss smells like hell!)

Would you do a video on cleaning the oil glands and the fur around them? I had a guinea pig once and he had the gummy fur on his back end. I did not know how to properly care for that area at that time.
Also how to prevent and/or care for the huge cyst type bubble sore that mine got on it's back.
I would appreciate the information for when I can get another guinea pig so I can properly care for it. 😊 Thanks!

Free health check? Now I wish I lived in LA, wow. Up in this cold place called Canada, it costs me 90$ for a health check up, and as a college student, I can't afford that every couple months. So I just keep watching your videos and staying as informed as possible! Thank you! 😁
What? I'm Canadian and Ive never had to pay for a doctor's appointment. We have free healthcare

I go to a pet specialist vet for small pocket pets and had I not had insurance for my piggies the check up fee would have been $50 and because he needed some antibiotics it would have cost just under $31 SO I'm going to guess you're somewhere out west based on the price you gave although some vet's office prices CAN seem overly priced. Let me know. I could even email you the info for the plan I have especially seeing that you're a college student. 😁 I'm in Ontario Canada myself.
