At one point you give a total for 2 minutes of running around and it is clear the clock says you have been on planet for 5 minutes. This method works - but doesn't provide nearly the amount of medals you claim (common for these types of videos sadly). I did a full hour run - going to each POI (each map has 10 or so) and got 40 medals. Each map run took about 5 minutes on Trivial. Why do all youtubers lie about totals - clicks I guess.
I noticed the same. Says in 2 mins but clock shows 5 mins passed almost… Also yeah you can alt f4 out of the game with 5-10 medals. But you need to check every POI and this takes 10 mins minimum…with 5-10 medals you end up at 30-60 medals… even if you just need 5 mins for the whole run you just get 120 medals… This is just clickbait and scam to be honest… i also saw one youtuber uploading the same „250 medals fast“ video almost every day…. xD Just be honest…that would have had me like the video and hit the subscribe button…
you can do this on any bug planet that doesn't have fog/visual inhibitors. I look for the capsules that you have to salute to open since they always have a beam that blinks above them in the sky. Running between the beams looking for the capsules usually leads me to the crates that you have to blast open so I don't spend most of my time looking for crates that are usually hidden just by running by. Also if you don't have nades, theres usually red explosive tanks nearby the crates.
New divers don’t waste time running around an empty map by yourself. Game is much more fun played as a team and the rewards pile up faster with more people looking for them. You can’t even open bunkers if you follow this dudes method. If you’re solo get the mission objectives done asap to get guaranteed medals and don’t wander the map for 20+ minutes hoping to get them from points of interest like in this video, there’s no guarantee you’ll even get any from those. Eradicate mission take about 5 minutes to complete with a team and your reward is guaranteed.
Have you tried what he does yourself? I do this a couple of times a week and it brings in a ton of super creds and medals. 95% of all the teams i join have no interest in farming anything at all just do the objectives and gtfo. After 150hours in this game i have maybe had 10 total teams going for map clears at lvl 6-9. Go difficulty 4 or so and have fun exploring and reading all the notes on the sites around the map.
@@Tsenngu I don’t do this because it’s boring af to play that way and it’s easy enough to max everything playing normally. You can clear maps and read notes and farm samples easy on 7 why play on 4 and not get supers and more medals while doing it. Do lvl 9 eradicates and blitzes for medals
@@magikushbecause new players aren’t on D7-9. Anyone playing high level isn’t worried about medals unless they are solo, because you skip extraction to save time.
You forgot to mention that you can scan your radar for the spots. They are easy to spot when you get used to it and whenever you bring your cursor to it it says point of interest(unlike your very 1st in that session idk but its bugged)
I heard someone else say this - I don't think you can see them until you discover them (they show up as a question mark on the compass). Before that, they aren't visible.
@@robbtarte2389 yeah you can. There’s a glitch that your first match it doesn’t work but after that when you open your mini map if you move around the words minor point of interest will appear when you find one with your cursor.
The number of Redditors trying to explain whatever is on their mind to correct you, "acktually" you, or point out a small flaw in this video is comedy gold. And their comments are mini novels.
I've been doing this with great success for the last month or two but yeah don't do that (not finishing missions to get things faster). People not finishing their missions ruin the planet progress.

I actually had never noticed that there are usually explosive barrels nearby. Great call out!
Also usually I've noticed there are usually grenade supplies near by

It is not faster and I've been kicked enough for stupid reasons. I'll play how I like, need somewhere to test new weapons anyway

I can't give everything away in the video. Helldivers need to learn through trial and tribulation!

You forgot to mention that only works if you find a radar station on the map.
Also you can see all the points of interest on your mini map.
That's true as well. Multiple ways to achieve the objective.

also, if u happen to dive next to a satellite/radar station n complete that objective, all markers get highlighted on ur mini map

I agree, I recommend completing the mission for the contribution of liberation. Feels much more patriotic that way.
