Hey. I'm genuinely trying to understand this viewpoint on this weapon. I've been trying to figure out what people enjoy about the two new weapons so please don't take this as me attacking you, I'm just really curious as to why people view these weapons positively. You brought up some interesting points, the stun rounds are pretty effective at stopping most enemies a stun grenade would so i'll give the weapon that. Although at the same time, swapping between both ammo types is a complete hassle. Especially since it's a single reload weapon, I'm used to shooting and hitting reload at the same time, so it takes just a second longer to even pull up the swap menu. Admittedly that's my own habbit at fault, but it's still clunky. The weird thing about Medium enemies is that I just use the Cookout or you could also use the Punisher to simply stagger them and prevent them from rushing you all the same way. With the cookout it's easier to aim between several of them and rely on the burn damage to kill them. Either way both weapons give you enough time to simply swap to even explosive weapons to kill any enemy. I like how it has Medium armor but when I'm expecting to shoot something a few times to kill it and keep it away from me, since it is a shotgun, i still have to either dodge away or fumble around to get the stun rounds active and stun them, then simply swap to another weapon. Or just stick with an ally and just only use the stun rounds, for... reasons. Why kill the enemeis when you can stun them and let your allies do it I guess. If either swapping ammo types or it had enough stagger force to at least HALT medium and light armored enemies, then this weapon would be perfect honestly. It wouldn't take away from the stun rounds because those would be used for heavies or fast enemies like stalkers or ones that are right up on you. But even so, you can't helldive and swap ammo types... Or at least it refuses to do it for me in at a significant pace.
They need to give Extra Padding to Unflinching armor sets. Unflinching only helps when you're getting hit. You tend to die or require immediate stimming when you get hit. This would eliminate the need to design an entirely new Heavy armor set and make the Commisar outfit actually viable. Unflinching is great against bots, useless against bugs, and overall niche. It needs a secondary armor effect like most armors. It was never worthy of riding solo. More ammo per magazine in the Reprimand and Loyalist would be peak. Giving even the tiniest overall speed increase to Dead Sprint boosters would see a major increase in use.
Couple things: Reprimand has the best break-point ratings of nearly any weapon. At mid ranges, ya know... Where an SMG is most effective... It does good work. The Loyalist does NOT need to be charged in order to fire. In fact, connecting it with the Scorcher is improper. It's a mini-purifier, and the damage it does on the explosive charges shot is staggeringly similar to the the Purifier. Hope this helps you research a bit harder next time.

I think they should add an armour buff that reduces the laughter from 6 seconds of firing to 2 seconds and throw in a 25% chance for the diver to start laughing every ten seconds completely unprompted so that the diver would just randomly laugh at any given moment. Maybe a 10% chance to automatically melee attack a civilian if the civilian is within 3 meters too. Yeah, I know, “killing civilians is bad” and so on but it’d be funny.
My pitch for Helldivers 2 is to include what I’ve dubbed “Deepdivers”- How about we get outfits that allow the wearer to swim for longer or just not die when in water? Doing stealth missions on jungle worlds, wading up to my chest in swamp water as guerrilla gorilla, I had this idea

Considering the armour is intelligence officer themed, perhaps a battlefield intel-focused passive would be more appropriate. It could be something like: on deployment, identify one extra side objective on the map, additionally, mark points of interest if they are within radar range on the map when you open it.

SMG and Armour is friggin awesome. The armour modificator works really well on bots. You're wrong here. Helps really well while aiming at the head of some devastator and you're being hit by some trooper from miles away. Aim stays where it is with this modificator
It's for the Chaosdiver drip, didn't even need to watch it, it's so worth it. Also, the shotgun is unironically amazing. Also watch out, the piss babies are having a war in the comments.
The shotgun is really nice, I like shotguns and its a plus for me that is a single shell reload, so I can control the ammo count. Not a fan of smg's in any game but this one is pretty decent, ngl. But the pistol is so goodlooking, I cannot see any flaws in it, or better said; i disregard them
Reprimand might not be meta, but it is my new go-to weapon, it *feels* like a certain popular "empire" tens of thousands of years in the future, maybe 40 or so thousand years, the bullets do not explode but it feels so good [just needs like 5 rounds more per mag IMO] Would really love for Capes and Helms to bring their own armor bonuses, and would be really nice to have a "set bonus" if wearing all the same bits instead of mix/matching.
"Meta"? What an idiot xD Its undertuned gimp weapon for now which only braindead fanatics will use and claim as a decent weapon. Others will just ignore it till it gets buffed.
a very solid review of the warbond. as for the unflinching passive personally i think it should be reworded to make stimming uninteruptable when getting shot, meleed or hit with the aoe of a explosion. as is current version feels like it was made for a pvp game
The reprimand does have its draw backs but if you combo that Heavy SMG with Jet back, the magazine size is almost negated because you don't have to stand around or run while trying to reload. I found it very useful when crouched and the weapon switched to Burst which you are able to fire single shots and the recoil is almost not there. There is the occasional recoil jerk as you fire and move but I do love the weapon. Against both bots and bugs. It's a good thing the magazine carrying capacity is high woth 9 mags to maintain its combat stamina. It is certainly not a weapon for fight intense horde swarm numbers which is why you combo it with the jetpack.
The thing I don't like about Dead Sprint is that if you don't know someone is running it when they join late it can REALLY screw you over when trying to conserve your health and stims while running AWAY from enemies The ONLY way to make use of that booster is if people are running Vitality and Experimental infusion. (Vitality decreases dead sprint health drain by 3-4x and allows you to run for up to 80 seconds. Experimental increases move speed upon using a stim)
6:14 just stick with the cookout if you wanna run shotties. The halt lets you choose between damage or stun. Keep the enemies away, or kill them. The cookout has a high stagger force and higher damage, so it does both. The halt has medium armor pen, but the cookout does fire damage. So it burns the enemies through their armor and knocks them back. It's just better than the halt in every way imo. Less finicky too. Opening the menu to switch fire types isn't an easy task in helldivers 2. We aren't playing borderlands 3.
i strongly disagree that you should just stick with the cookout if you wanna run shotties. cookout briefly staggers for around a half second while the halt stun rounds completely disable for 4-5 seconds; the cookout cannot stagger hulks/chargers while the halt can do so if you hit their weak points; cookout has light armor pen while flachette has medium armor pen; cookout pellet and halt stun pellet spread are both wide while halt flachette spread is narrower; cookout has 16 incendiary rounds while the halt has 2 magazines with 8 flachettes and 8 stuns these two guns serve very different purposes, with each having their role in different builds. one cannot replace the other when it comes to playing those roles
I think that it would be best if they just made unflinching better, it should definitely work for stims as well. I've been using the bloodhound for quite some time now against the bots, and I would love it if unflinching also lowered the ragdolling from their explosives. And they could make the Reprimand one-handed to be used with the ballistic shield while their at it.
I say that its worth it. The new smg really packs a punch, the new shotgun is awesome, the armors sets are not that great but i love the drip. Also the new skin is awesome, it makes me feel like a chaosdiver and the new title is badass
@@prabhav1788 I just saw the one you’re talking about, maybe next week? It’s sad a heavy set wasn’t in the war bond but I’m sure they got a concept they’ll drop eventually
Actually the inspector armor does have a very nice practical passive: it displays the tungsten balls of the helldiver to the enemy for all to see while fire reigns down from the sky for the glory of super earth
Giving credit to episode 9 for the red sith trooper, completely ignoring the imperial guard, and giving credit to scout troopers instead of imperial officers and the ISB is pain 😭
I love the Reprimand, it's recoil isn't that bad in burstfire mode, and its damage is so high it can take out warriors and hiveguard in only a couple shots. I haven't used it against the bots, but I imagine the likelihood of fighting them at range makes it less suitable. Still, this is quickly becoming my go-to weapon against the bugs.
For me totally for a bunch of reasons (personal taste and long text so, feel free to disagree, and face the wall soon after). 1) Armors are totally a meme factory which itself make it a great experience to have the set or even part of them. Running a fine mission then let others to board while watching over them in a Truth Enforcer pose paid it off. 2) Halt SG isn't really my jam but it has quite a success for other Divers, the Reprimand on other hands finally solved my issue on enjoy again a SMG as my primary. I used a lot the Verdict when it was released, while some of my buds refused to try it just to hold on Senator. While now both handguns are buffed, i stick with the Verdict as before, it's perfect for what you need from a sidearm; Reprimand is the same, you have quite a punch in a package that chew through targets and on Bugs it can delete medium targets without the need to aim for the head (aim for the middle section where the heart is, even Brood Commanders are literally chopped to death in few shots). Still have to try the Plasma Pistol since i'm a little ill, i want to play but i'm out of stim!!! 3) The whole bond gave a new life and energy to the game and also for the roleplay; be warn, i'm not mean to exceed into the scenario "TRAITOR!" then TK the whole lobby, but it generates some unique scenarios and moments that never happened before (or had the same taste or fun); i had more laughs and rp moments now than in the whole 500 hours. New Cadets ask where i got my armor and cape, or the Reprimand, Veterans plays along when i ask "Are you a true Democracy Lover, or a BUG/BOT LOVER?!". The best one i had so far is from an ICBM mission where i was overwatching in pose the whole moment while typing "A finest ICBM from Super Earth's Nuclear Arsenal", then salute it has being launched with the whole party, at the sound of " FOR DEMOCRACY!". If Arrowhead keeps cooking like this, the game will get better and better, the core reason to enjoy it (aside beat difficulty missions and such) is having fun and a blast while keep playing; the very same reason that the game catch me up so fast, after years of PvP shooters.
When truth enforcers came out the pure black uniform was on the separate sale page. Meaning if you didn't get it your out of luck. But yea it has 3 suit sets.
Short answer for someone who plays exclusively bots cant say for bugs the armor is super mid, but the guns are absolutely worth, like the plas pistol is super good against walkers and groups of enemies specially now with the jetpack bots, and both the smg and shot gun shred and not to mention their all medium armor penetration. Although I will say they do have kick to them so be ready for that
6:51 I thought the lights and dark profile of the exosuit was a Strider that was in the distance. Then I realized there were bugs and got even more confused. If AH were able to somehow incorporate multi faction battles on a planet, that would make for some epic engagements. I'm sure the game code isn't set up for that capability though. Maybe if there's a Helldivers 3
Gameplay wise : I enjoy the new guns, always nice to have more medium pen in our arsenal. I'm especially fond of the Loyalist, or "Pocket Purifier" as I've seen a few divers call it. Shame that the new Unflinching passive and Dead Sprint booster aren't as good, though. Looks wise : new guns look sick and the armor sets even more so! Love me some black and red color scheme! The exosuits and pelican never looked better! 10/10, one of the best warbonds we got, for sure!
The weapons are a mixed bag: The Halt is great against bugs because the high damage and medium pen knocks out most of the trash bugs and the stun helps with the heftier bugs. The Smg is … mediocre. It can 1 shot devastators but its high inaccuracy and recoil makes you want to get close to the target but you don't WANT to get close to the bots. The medium pen makes you think you should land body shots then? But the low mag size discourage that. Against bugs, the small magazine rears its ugly head. I feel like it needs a buff, some people say more accuracy, some people say make it 1 handed, I say give it a bigger magazine. The gun is inaccurate enough, let me keep throwing fat bullets at the problem. The pistol is goodish. As a secondary it does its job and the explosive shot is useful against crowds of small enemies and bile spewers
The outfits are absolute fire, best in the game. The shorty is good, the smg is good in semi auto mode, not full, mag is too small. Should have a 50 round drum to be worth the use. The color scheme is great though. Worth the money
An even better improvement would be helmets providing more þan just cosmetic value. It'd be nice for every matching helmet to provide a passive, flameproof on my salamander provides 75% resistance to fire, maybe þe helm can provide an extra 25% to round off þis discrepancy.
The Bloodhound Armor Set looks more like the Blood Raven's or Blood Angel's from Warhammer 40.000. That also seem's to be more sensical since "Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine 2" released 2 Months. The setting is also more similar, both The Imperium Of Man and Super Earth completely hate their Enemies, The "Bots" and "Bugs" for Super Earth, and the "Xenos" for The Imperium Of Man
The shotgun does wonders for punishing bots of all sorts, Hulks and below of course- sense it cannot stun Hulks from what I could tell, because at that point it would just be a better stun grenade. Alas, pairing this with the senator is great because you can stun devastators and follow up with a quick headshot- especially at longer ranges if you pepper them with the stun ammo, which will still stun on a single shot if even a single pellet hits
As much as i wanted to love it, i just can't. I love the halt but i was really hoping for that heavy smg to be one handed to go along with a shield. That aside there was no heavy armor in the warbond or its superstore reset. I know most people don't like heavy armor, but i do. Overall despite wanting so badly to love this warbond and being so excited for it, i find myself disappointed. Edit: The loyalist is great.
14:41 I have a feeling the UF-84 Doubt Killer is inspired by something… or someone else. And his name is Darth Vader from the (Insert Year here) Movie “Star Wars, The New Hope”

The smg is the best assult rifle yet.. Jokes aside the Armor is cool just needs a 2nd passive to be worth while. The black armor should of been heavy armor
The only downside to the cosmetics items is because of the red and black color schemes and the symbol, they can be somewhat mistaken for Automaton stuff in the heat of battle when you are running off of instincts more and the more logical part takes a backseat. Not a problem if you are fighting bugs, but may cause some more friendly fire if fighting bots.
Halt is a mixed bag. Needs close range to really do anything but its stagger and oush are so weak that bugs just walk straight up to you. Alpha brood commanders will ignore you, forcing you to awkwardly keep switching ammo (dedicated button and an indicator would be nice for this) to hopefully stun the bugs, then gun them down. Overall, it's better to just kill em with a more powerful weapon. Cookout shoves, staggers, damages and burns all in one quick loading package.
The Pride of the Whistleblower is the VERY cape I've been looking for to pair well with my chosen 'Exterminator' armor. Now if only I could find a damn helmet that fits in terms of color and aesthetic. Not a single one to be found so the wait continues... I do love the 'At Ease' emote which has caused many Helldivers to pause for photo ops. One should never neglect our duty to inspire the Super Citizens of Super Earth after all. My only complaint with it is the fact that the animation leans a bit too far back for my liking. Spines don't bend like that. They are supposed to be rigid and firm in the face of the enemies of Democracy. Not flexible as if to bend to tolerance.
I always thought the inspector armor was based on the Commissars of warhammer 40K and the doubt killer based on Na*I armor from wolfenstein or possibly Darth Vader’s armor

The shotgun is really nice, I like shotguns and its a plus for me that is a single shell reload, so I can control the ammo count. Not a fan of smg's in any game but this one is pretty decent, ngl. But the pistol is so goodlooking, I cannot see any flaws in it, or better said; i disregard them
LMAO, these armors are for the most extreme loyslists, not for the chaosnerds. Face the wall traitor.
Anything provided to us by Super Earth is worth unleashing managed democracy with. Hunt well helldivers.
Democracy Protects.
Very true, Helldiver. We must use the tools provided to us to dispense Liberty across the stars! FOR SUPER EARTH AND DEMOCRACY!
Reprimand might not be meta, but it is my new go-to weapon, it *feels* like a certain popular "empire" tens of thousands of years in the future, maybe 40 or so thousand years, the bullets do not explode but it feels so good [just needs like 5 rounds more per mag IMO]
Would really love for Capes and Helms to bring their own armor bonuses, and would be really nice to have a "set bonus" if wearing all the same bits instead of mix/matching.
"Meta"? What an idiot xD Its undertuned gimp weapon for now which only braindead fanatics will use and claim as a decent weapon. Others will just ignore it till it gets buffed.
Great video! I also love this warbond, red is my fav colour so I just love the bloodhound armour
a very solid review of the warbond. as for the unflinching passive personally i think it should be reworded to make stimming uninteruptable when getting shot, meleed or hit with the aoe of a explosion. as is current version feels like it was made for a pvp game
Interchangeable perks would be such a wonderful thing, almost like being able to add a scope to railgun :)
this bond did make me realise that we need a weapon painting bench or something like that, I NEED to paint my guns to fit the Bloodhound armour
Words cannot describe how badass it feels to be at ease while doing a charger rodeo
Making Passive abilities interchangeable would be so good
Something I really like is the extra padding over the heart on the armor
The thing I don't like about Dead Sprint is that if you don't know someone is running it when they join late it can REALLY screw you over when trying to conserve your health and stims while running AWAY from enemies
The ONLY way to make use of that booster is if people are running Vitality and Experimental infusion.
@@josephlane1614 pretty sure the weapons were designed more for bots then bugs.
i strongly disagree that you should just stick with the cookout if you wanna run shotties.
cookout briefly staggers for around a half second while the halt stun rounds completely disable for 4-5 seconds; the cookout cannot stagger hulks/chargers while the halt can do so if you hit their weak points; cookout has light armor pen while flachette has medium armor pen; cookout pellet and halt stun pellet spread are both wide while halt flachette spread is narrower; cookout has 16 incendiary rounds while the halt has 2 magazines with 8 flachettes and 8 stuns
these two guns serve very different purposes, with each having their role in different builds. one cannot replace the other when it comes to playing those roles
I love the hult. But I love the punisher more. I gotta try this cook out shotgun tho.
Your title ought to be a rhetorical question. I wouldn't like to make you face a wall, but If manage democracy deems it necessary, then it is a must.
The new war bond looks like a chaos diver bond which is cool, all I want is a mini gun and a power armor suit
I say that its worth it. The new smg really packs a punch, the new shotgun is awesome, the armors sets are not that great but i love the drip. Also the new skin is awesome, it makes me feel like a chaosdiver and the new title is badass
Personally myself I was disappointed no heavy armor was included with this war bond
Keep an eye on the shop! Sometimes they’ll release a missing variant there
@@Drizztbcit’s only medium bwomp
@@prabhav1788 I just saw the one you’re talking about, maybe next week? It’s sad a heavy set wasn’t in the war bond but I’m sure they got a concept they’ll drop eventually
Speaking of the enemies, the Automatons have captured the famous Helldiver of the OC faction, Kruschev, and started using him for their own fetishes!
8:50 its not its based on purifire 1k fire rate that you can spam and charge
My apologies, I got this outright wrong. I'll ensure I research better and am more thorough next time.
Of course it’s worth it! I’ve been joining random games and declaring “this unit is under inspection, do not resist!”
The armors look great but unflinching should be a passive for heavy armors rather than a perk
love the review in perfect roleplay! :)
I think I could watch a review from every Warbond like this
[This review is under investigation for treason]
4 stars
I cant lie, I love the Reprimand against the bots - it just scratches something differently in my brain
All those in the Templar Division are instructed to unlock the UF-16 armor set if they purchase the Truth enforcers warbond.
Actually the inspector armor does have a very nice practical passive: it displays the tungsten balls of the helldiver to the enemy for all to see while fire reigns down from the sky for the glory of super earth
Crazy this became a treasure for the Chaos divers all of us wear something for the bond
Giving credit to episode 9 for the red sith trooper, completely ignoring the imperial guard, and giving credit to scout troopers instead of imperial officers and the ISB is pain 😭
Funnily enough, many Chaos Divers are getting this warbond given our love of red and black...
The UF-50 Bloodhound armor looks like a SITH Jet Trooper
The amours look great but the passive is pretty bad.
The guns are disappointing.
This is definitely a dripbond
@@imcarolean Hello? Democracy Officer? This one right here.
Oohh I don't like hearing "Star wars episode 9" doesn't sound right 😂
Just got this game haven't even played it yet ..so excited!!
When truth enforcers came out the pure black uniform was on the separate sale page. Meaning if you didn't get it your out of luck. But yea it has 3 suit sets.
Would love a "Justice for All" Warbond that is Police based. I think that would be dope.
I sometimes pretend to be evil with it or something. But I won’t do that anymore.
Although I will say they do have kick to them so be ready for that
I think unflinching is for the story as their supposed to be like special forces so their less likely to flinch at the face of danger
Maybe if there's a Helldivers 3
in my experience the shotgun is more then usable at mid range too, that thing is quiet powerful!
100% purely due to the drip of the white armour
Gameplay wise : I enjoy the new guns, always nice to have more medium pen in our arsenal. I'm especially fond of the Loyalist, or "Pocket Purifier" as I've seen a few divers call it. Shame that the new Unflinching passive and Dead Sprint booster aren't as good, though.
Looks wise : new guns look sick and the armor sets even more so! Love me some black and red color scheme! The exosuits and pelican never looked better!
10/10, one of the best warbonds we got, for sure!
The red armor/ red and white armor alone is worth it, plus the red and black patterns.
All worth it
VERA LIBERTAS
„Star wars franchise from the old world“…yeah…i heard these were pretty wild times
The weapons are a mixed bag:
The Halt is great against bugs because the high damage and medium pen knocks out most of the trash bugs and the stun helps with the heftier bugs.
Fun fact. if fully charged the Loyalist can one shot scout and rocket striders.
Omfg ministry of fashion is so good
An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguided.
Imo the reprimand is absolutely a cut above the adjudicator for midrange fights.
The outfits are absolute fire, best in the game. The shorty is good, the smg is good in semi auto mode, not full, mag is too small. Should have a 50 round drum to be worth the use. The color scheme is great though. Worth the money
Would have been better if you could unlock customising the Exosuit arms and armour.
2 gatling cannons, 1 auto 1 rocket, 2 rockets etc.
The setting is also more similar, both The Imperium Of Man and Super Earth completely hate their Enemies, The "Bots" and "Bugs" for Super Earth, and the "Xenos" for The Imperium Of Man
no, its sorta copy of sequel sith troopers from Star wars
You only think that cause the Sith Troopers are inspired by the Blood Ravens or Blood Angels.
It actually can, but you need to shoot the vent on the back for it to work.
For cosmetics it 100% is worth it especially for the vehicle skins alone.
I wore them for the drip
Us too
The armour designs alone are worth it.

I had never seen a choas diver until yesterday. 2 matches back to back diffrent divers
Short answer: Yeas... For Democracy!
When I unboxed my Warbond, I felt Democracy spreading through my living quarters instantly!
I'm 50/50 on the Halt. I like it, but after awhile I still went back to the Cookout.
Scout trooper is a bit of a stretch. I would have said Grand Admiral Thrawn
Definitely worth it.
Can’t go wrong with getting free content
The ministry of fashion made it worth it for that drip alone.
0:44 it's a full red old republic sith trooper and the officer is based off the admiral field outfit
I always thought the inspector armor was based on the Commissars of warhammer 40K and the doubt killer based on Na*I armor from wolfenstein or possibly Darth Vader’s armor
