Many of us as we are getting older are always thinking about moving back to Pakistan. However, personal and financial security are the main reasons. Freedom of thought and expressions are another concern. The Establishment(Feudal, Military Mullah) are hostile to secular and open minded people.

as a psychiatrist working in the UK for over 20 years i am always concerned about what is happening back in pakistan. unfortunately there are more negative news and hardly anything positive to hear. it would be good to see some solid initiatives to improve education and healthcare of the masses, reduce population and separate religion from politics. this channel is a rare beacon of intelligence which gives me hope!

I appreciate Johar sb comments, I personally feel frustrated when I see bureaucrats criticizing the system who were or currently part of the same. Why they have not been instrumental in doing the course correction by contributing bit by bit. We know the problems but who is going to put them in order, not general public. Will Johar sb answer

As a Pakistani living abroad, Pakistan appears have gone backward. The Establishment(Feudal, Military and Mullahs) have turned the country into an Islamo-fascist state where the rule of law favors the feudal and the military. The common man is overdosing on religion using blasphemy laws to suppress dissent using mob action in the name of religion. There are many of us who would love to invest in Pakistan. However, we don’t feel safe. Until the mindset and culture changes, Pakistan will continue to lag behind India. We appear to resemble more like Afghanistan than India.
