    My favorite punch line is
    1. Keeping the price low
    2. Let your competitors do marketing for you
    3. You can never take decision when you discuss be independent and take decision alone.
    4. Freedom is the biggest blessing.
    5. Fortunately born poor
    6. Take risk when you feel you have nothing to lose. ( Count this as blessings)
    7. When his wife said "i want to be the greatest person of a struggling family rather then a mediocre person of a established family"
    8. Hire more freshers and train them by your self it's better then hiring experienced persons.
    And on the lighter note
"Everyone wants an experienced employee but no one wants an experienced wife 😂😂" very Halirous ☺️☺️

It is true that his exit from Thyrocare is best case scenario.. Dr. Velumani has exited when the stock price was 1200.. the company's stock has never seen that price ever again. He knew his business and he could forecast it so well, exiting the business that time was perhaps the best decision one could make....

It has become a habit now; I've listened to each podcast that you've uploaded, and it really helps me a lot, more than pursuing an MBA admission after graduation.
Kudos to the entire team @figuring out 👏

Dr. Velu's way of doing business is very conventional like the Marwaris do. He built a brand which can last for Decade and centuries to come. Although he sold for his personal reasons. But if the next owner will follow the same ethics he can survive for hundreds of years in future.
Basically Dr. Velu created a business for his next 7 generations. Very value driven, very touched, focused on key area of customer's demand, Zero debt, Calculated Risk, Risk only when your gut has concrete feeling of it, well market research, know what your competitors are doing, make your family into business, don't flaunt.
On the other hand new age start up takes lots of funding and then wait for a day to get succed.
