1) keep open your airway 2) adjust light and noise environments - dark and quiet 3) wear amber blue-light blocking glasses 2 hours before bed 4) stay off computer at night (calming books and relaxing tv shows are ok) 5) keep bedroom cool at night. 6) reduce/eliminate alcohol before bed 7) reduce/eliminate caffeine 8) exercise during daytime, avoid it 3 hours before bed 9) get more sunlight especially during the morning 90 minutes from sunrise. Red light is important. 10) don't eat 3 to 4 hours before bed 11) get enough hours sleep every night 12) reduce water intake before bed 13) consistent sleep wake cycle even on weekends 14) hormone replacement therapy (see 12:00 - 13:25) 15) consider insomnia, but try all 14 tips first. Good information but what help to you have for menopause and being a diabetic?
