    Excellent video. I didn't know cortisol was so important in the morning. No wonder insomnia is so prevalent in today's culture (stress throughout the evening --> high cortisol levels retained till bed-time).

    I've really gotten my mom into working out thanks to the Fit Mother Project, but she's such a busybody and doesn't sleep as much as she should. I keep trying to tell her how important sleep is but she doesn't listen. I can't wait to show her this video, I think she'll definitely listen more hearing it from you Doc. Thanks so much for all your help, you've really helped my dad get healthier and now my mom too. :)

    I've never thought of sleep problems from the hormone perspective and the roles of cortisol and melatonin. This video was very helpful and I now think differently about my sleep habits! I have to fix a few issues that Dr. B pointed out, and I'm sure that will improve my sleep quality. Thanks for all the great info!

    Well, I can say that all the things you suggest do help, but the trick is to do ALL of them, not just one or two, and to stick to it religiously. I had a long hard fight for my sleep habits, I'm not letting go of them without another fight, I like my sleep!

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  Рік тому

      You’re totally right. I can do a better job of that. As you likely know, I naturally speak fast and have a desire to slam through as much info as possible in a short amount of time due to attention spans / wanting to be valuable. I truly appreciate your feedback and will be more judicious with pacing on these more technical videos.
