Recently was friends with a 78 year old man. He'd grown up in the 70's and 80's motorcycle era. Was into Harleys and bars, clubbing, this and that. HE STILL CARES A LOT WHAT THE HARLEY CROWD THINKS, WHAT HE'D LOOK LIKE PARKED IN A WISCONSIN HARLEY GROUP.
He liked performance more, rode some fast Japanese machines in the 80's and 90's. He couldn't justify the price of a Harley so went with a new left-over Concours14. He's thought about trading off and getting something a bit more comfortable for him. HE STILL CARES HOW HE LOOKS AND SOUNDS in a CROWD.

Bro, I still have my 2014 ninja 300. I'm mainly a seasonal rider, but make it a point to ride every Thanksgiving and Easter. I'm not motorcycle guy per sey, I would describe myself as just a guy with a motorcycle. I love getting out in the spring and summer and that little bike has everything I need and more. $20 bucks a month for full coverage isn't bad either! I have to change my rear blinker that broke off last season. I'll do that after taking care of some things around the house, then it's off to the country back roads, hills and twisties. Nothing beats hoping on my bike on a beautiful warm day. Happy riding, gentlemen! 😎🏍

The thing is, I’ve been on an R1, Fireblade, MT-10 but there’s just something about that CP2 engine that always draws me back 😅
The sound, the torque, just the whole feeling an MT-07 or any other bike with the CP2 engine gives you isn’t comparable to a lot of bikes.
I’ve had the Husqvarna 701 and even though that was fun, it’s not an MT-07 kind of fun.
And let’s be honest, especially for someone that rides in the UK, there aren’t many places where using an MT-07 at top speed (130+ mph) is fun or safe.
I’d much rather go around the twisties than go 100+ mph in a straight line 😩
Yeah in the UK you probably can't a proper supermoto hooligan, too many laws. The MT-07 is a really soulful bike, just feels great and sounds amazing with a pipe. I love it.
@@CycleCruza too right! And if you post videos doing wheelies here, they do everything to track you down (don’t ask how I know 😂) but minus the hooligan stuff, this bike is a blast even for commuting to work 😅
i love my fz07 lol, had it 6months and its well worth the 4200 i paid!! 1 little clutch blap and the front pops up soo fast in 2nd and 3rd!! love it! and its cruises at 75mph in eco mpg mode still, bike does 130, things are super fun!
I’ll be honest man I had my mt-07 when I started watching your channel. I had just had two operations and not ridden it much and thought I’ll just get a bike that’s fast and be done with it 🤦🏾♂️ . Glad I didn’t because between my partner, you and a couple others yall made me see the light of day and now I’m heavily modding my mt-07 cos man I tell you it is one hell of a bike. I’ll be honest… you and these supermotos got me thinking about selling my r1 - which I just got… wish the bank would give me another loan so I could have both bikes
If you get a supermoto you will get addicted guaranteed. It is the most fun you can have a motorcycle. I want to collect supermotos, way more fun than superbikes. I love superbikes but all you can really do is go fast for fun as where supermotos are more versatile and can whip sport bikes in the corners, you can dang near touch the handlebar around the corner and not low side unlike sport bikes and can take a beating. Get one asap!
Superbikes also have those special looks. You will always be checking over your shoulder for that last look when you walk away from it, and always be excited to see it when you return to it. Speed and handling is fun, but only for so long.
As an enthusiasts I always keep a bike between 1 year minimum, 2 years max. Unless it’s a collectors bike. 1 year will really allow you to get to know your bike. 2 years and the honeymoon phase is over. Time to try something new and get those bike butterflies again.
Cycle cruza there are also people that loves you and your videos, I have been on the journey since 9 years ago, please focus on the good stuff 😊

@@CycleCruza +14 horsepower +13 foot-pounds torque, about the same power curve as the MT-07 in where the power is made. Better suspension and brakes, a few nicer instrument/switchgear features. As far as sound, look up "GSX-8S full exhaust" and you'll find it's the same barking tones.

I took your advice after watching all your videos and upgraded from my first bike a 2022 CRF300L to a 2021 MT07 with the full Acro exhast and K&N filter. I plan to get it tuned next month. Thanks for all the great content!

The Reason that I bought an FZ-07 is because I thought something like and MT-09 might get me in too much trouble ..
I enjoy the mt-07 more than I did my former mt-09.

My only problem with the mt is that the tank is 90% fairing.
I'd rather have an aluminum or steel tank that's the same profile but gives me an extra gallon.
100% true !!! you don't know how many times i see people awkwardly riding a big boy Harley where you can tell they are super uncomfortable. And you know it's because they think that is what you have to ride to be cool. I currently have a 831 Monster that i love had an FZ07 that i loved for 4 years and when i lived in Colombia for 2 years i had a Duke 390 that i think is the best overall bike you can have, just like a sumo. Indian scout bobber will be next.

i did the hordpower full intake on my fz07 and it really picked up power from 7000-10,250 rpm, got it tuned by 2wdw. thing is smooth and fast!
My first bike was an MT 07 and I loved it!!! I put on 4,000 miles the first year I owned it and had an absolute blast! But then I upgraded to the MT 09 and it’s been all right….the added power is fun but that’s about the only plus lol I mainly just ride around in B mode and take it easy on the throttle to closer match the 07 haha But seriously the 07 has the perfect amount of torque and power. And for some reason sounds better than the 09 lol
I ride a GSXR 600 K2 here in the UK. If i ever go over 80 MPH id be amazed. just love riding even if its just once a week and could give a F**k what people think of me or my bike. Although in a couple of years i'll be 50 years old and something like an MT-07 would be perfect...... for my back and wrists at least!
Great to see you still riding. Yeah the mt-07 is a comfy bike and awesome bottom end grunt, perfect fun bike at the street legal speeds. I grew tired of dealing with cops on the fast bike and bent over uncomfortably around town, it just didn't make sense to ride superbikes in the city anymore.
Lambchop Rides has a video where he took his 690 sm equipped with the PC6 to the tuner for a custom map. The tuner had good things to say about it and he implied it was good to go as is. That's a pro tuner vouching for the Power commander. The sumo lifestyle originated in Europe so I trust their experience.
I’m not a hater. I’ve liked watching your videos since I was a kid. But I can understand where some of the people are coming from. Sport bikes were the reason I started watching in the first place. When you think of cyclecruza, you think of sport bikes.
I've had a lot of different bikes, even e-bikes and e-scooters. I actually started on UA-cam with a 178cc Chinese scooter, lol I love all of the motorcycles but supermoto is always #1.
The same for me , CycleCruza = Sports bikes 🏍️
Id still consider naked bikes as sport bikes, even supermoto to a degree. It's not like he's out here riding cruisers

I prefer naked bikes to the super sports. All I see on the roads are people riding super sports or full faring 300cbrs that just want to look like supersports. Nakeds and muscle cruisers like Diavel1260, xDiavel, and Sportster S are my thing. They just look more unique and I prefer the upright riding style vs constant bent over like you are on a track.
Could they truly be trolls, or simply commenters? I remember posting a sincere comment years ago, only to receive harsh criticism in return. It made me hesitant to continue engaging

The MT-07 is possibly the best street bike you can get. Low maintenance, low entry cost,, loads of usable power and you can take it anywhere. They've made them forever so there's tons of support. Haters gonna hate and they probably hate that the hate views help too. 🤣
I ride a Fly 150. I had a Harley but now I ride what is fun for me. Buy a bike that makes you want to ride it everyday. I don't ride as much now but have over 90,000 miles riding scooters.

When you hit a certain age, you don't want or need the largest cc motorcycle, or the fastest. At 45 years old, I've had 1000cc sport bikes, and 1500cc cruisers. Now I just ride a Gsx S750. Nice, lightweight naked bike with plenty of city and country road power. I don't ride highways, so I don't need a big, heavy cruiser. I've been 147 mph on my current bike which has no windshield, or fairings! I absolutely do no want, or need to go an faster. I don't want, or need a bigger bike.
Supersport and sport touring are my favorite yoga sessions, don't judge. But I really wanted to buy an fz 07 as my first or second bike.
When I was younger 150 mph was what I thought was cool now that Iam older I just love that I live in a world that Iam free to be on two Wheels top speed is definitely not everything. Especially once you start having a family. You realize torque is King getting home safe is what's best. Just the fact of being on two wheels is enough. Don't care if it's a scooter. Don't care if it's a 400 I love my MT07 it's comfortable and I personally think it looks amazing. That's all that matters. If it puts a smile on your face daily and it's got two wheels. That's all that matters
You are right @cyclecruza. I sold my Suzuki GSXR 750 to buy a Suzuki Vstrom 250 SX. The guy that purchased my bike said that I was nuts. To be honest, I'm enjoying more the little bike than big bike. 😂

Easily anyone who hates on the MT07 have never swung a leg over one. To this date the MT07 is the most hooligan fun wheelie machine I've ever had. All the trolls saying get a litre bike which is beyond overkill for a daily. Never being able to use all that power is so powerfully dull. Especially when it makes you a freaking cop magnet here in Atlanta. When I had my RSV4 Factory I'd have cops follow me around waiting for me to speed just so they can get back to the station and brag they pulled me over and ticketed me.

I owned a 2016 FZ-07 (blue/silver). I have owned a tracer 900(fj-09) and now own a 23 xsr900 STILL nothing has been as user friendly as that FZ-07 when it comes to straight up dollar per fun factor. the MT-07 is plain and simply a good time and a million times easier to wheelie than my 900s

But when you started on the super moto I couldn’t relate anymore, you influenced me to buy a small sports bike and then there you were hooning around on a super moto and I just lost interest then .
I know you love all the bikes I know you have fun hooning around on the super moto but personally for me the CycleCruza I love the most is the CycleCruza that rides sports bike stays safe on the streets and takes about life and calls out dangerous riders and rider behaviour…

I have a MT-07 and a 170hp bike and I have a lot more fun on the mt07. It’s not always a question of ultimate power or speed.

MT-07 is way more comfortable. There is a reason why so many people have the mt-07 and it holds its value better than most bikes. They are in such high demand.

I got nothing against MT-07's, I probably would have called it a girls bike back in my 20's, but I was kinda a dick back then. Nowadays, I could certainly use one, but in my area there are too many long backroads and highways where a 600cc supersport is alot more fun ( when no one is around / looking ) but going through the gears on a 600 on your favorite long backroad can be very dangerous. If a deer takes me out one day ill only have myself to blame.

The acrapovic exhaust you have on the mt07 is not road legal in uk , it says not for street use , i would consider getting one but want to be whithin the law .
Yeah technically it is not legal, no aftermarket exhaust is but the authorites don't care here in the U.S.

Have you ever considered there's a lot of experienced riders that do enjoy your content but know the MTO7 is a decent little bike. It's more toward the beginners. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun bike, but it's just not for everybody. Riding a super sport, doing twisties, and just sheer power at your fingertips is an adrenaline rush. We all know they're slightly uncomfortable but if you enjoy riding you look past it.
I will tell you I've never ridden the mt07 but did own its off road counter part wich is the tenere 700.. but out of the mt line up the mt07 is the best looking

That was a fun bike, sounded faster than it was but a fast bike and lightweight. However, I grew tired of cops bothering me and focused on torque and slow speed fun instead. Cops never bother me on supermotos and the smaller bikes.
I love the mt07. I sold mine last February but I miss it like crazy. Got a new mt09sp on order now.
That is why I'm hesitant to sell my mt-07. I lived the cp3 on the mt-09 but didn't like the chassis like I do on the mt-07. However, I have yet to ride the latest gen mt-09 where they made improvements. Best of luck with the mt-09 sp!

Dudes hate the r7 because it only has 80 hp and tops out at like 140 mph, as if any of them ever been on a track. The r7 is a better bike than the r6 in every way for 99% of riders, and the 1% can buy the r6 track edition lmao. It's the guys who ride the worst that do the most talking

I think I understand it. I never rode a 600cc or 1000cc sportbike but I talked to a few guys who say they only ride 600cc and up sportbike. Of course the adrenaline rush obviously but I think it's the feel good feeling you get from owning a bike that is at top of the food chain, the apex predator. You can power out of pretty much any situation. You get to the speed limit faster than anyone. Get to the red light faster than anyone. Outrun cops if you brave enough. And most importantly if someone is pissing you off or annoying you in the road you can leave them in the dust while a slower bike will have to deal with the situation.
It's no different than owning a Corvette or similar car. It's not that you will use that power, but that you CAN use it IF YOU WANTED TO. It's a state of mind thing. Some would say an ego trip.
And also up your risk for getting killed or having a f**ked up day! And then when someone gets hurt speeding it is the motorcycle's fault. Superbikes are meant for the track, lame on the street riding a fast bike slow and cops love to tail you on superbikes.
This one time i was hanging out with bunch of riders near the beach and I told this one guy, nice z1000 but he told me, actually its a kawasaki zh2. He did say he used to have a z1000 but it was too slow for him, he said. I was shaking my head without him looking at me, but what do i care.
It’s about the 0 to 60 quarter miles at a time. You can be fast without being stupid.
