Safety glasses Lexi at all times. Overtime that concrete dust, splash, can blurr your vision. I used to work in the mechanic industry and a lot of mechanics have bad vision because some don’t wear safety glasses. I can send you links to good ones if you need.

I drove a mixer for @13 years. You got me beat in the pretty department by a landslide but I used to enjoy that job even though it's tough sometimes. You get to be home more often in a mixer than a lot of other trucks but you have to work when you can because of weather. I did it because I got to see my family more but got divorced anyway. It's okay money for a job but you know how it goes, they aren't going to pay you anymore than they have to. Don't let any dirty old guys get away with anything and be safe!

Thank you for your comment! I get those feelings too, there’s moments when I’m driving back from home and I start to cry because I’ve really put in the work to be where I’m at in life, too many it’s not a lot but to me I genuinely do appreciate God for throwing so many blessings at me, and well yea I do it for my parents as well and they always tell me they’re proud and I’ve always looked for that with them, I never give myself credit but from time to time I stop and cry and tell myself I’m doing great, so thank you for your comment because that same feeling you have I totally understand it and there’s things in the world that I will see and make me feel that same way, it’s almost so surreal. Have a happy Sunday! I hope you and your wife have a great blessed day!

I come here to get away from the thoughts that are in my head, I am a Marine, I spent 16 years with over 6 deployments to a place that some would call hell on earth. I have extremely bad days that I wish would vanish, but you would not understand that. Having said that and now you know a scratch of my back story. I once owned a Terex Advance FD4000 concrete mixer truck, and it was more than just a vehicle; it was a cornerstone of my construction business. With its powerful engine and precision engineering, it delivered every mix with unmatched efficiency and reliability. From bustling city streets to remote job sites, it navigated every challenge with ease, embodying the spirit of resilience and progress. Operating the FD4000 was a testament to craftsmanship and dedication, each pour laying the foundation for dreams to rise. Your an inspiration. Your work ethic is commendable. Your parents did a great job.
Kids today could learn a thing or two from you instead of bitching and crying about everything or think they're entitled . Hats off to you young lady. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

Your channel popped up to me and I watched a couple videos, well I ended up binge watching all your videos lol it's so cool to see a young woman getting a cdl and driving a concrete truck. Seeing how much you have grown and become confident driving your truck and working in the areas you do is awesome to see! More women need to see your videos! Congrats on the success you're having! One thing I will say is please wear saftey glasses so you don't get concrete or acid in your beautiful eyes!

What I took away from this video is just how hard working, dedicated and enthusiastic you are about your job! I'd like to know how you got into this line of work and what interested you in it in the first place! You give a neat perspective from literally the driver's seat and as well as all that it really entails, which is quite a bit in a day's time. Do you work like 5 or 6 days a week, I'm just guessing? Wishing you all the best and good fortune!

I understand exactly your hectic schedule. I worked a job that had a six day work week and a very early rise on Monday, so basically, there was sort of a day off. We drove flatbed to Houston for bridge slabs, belly dump for gravel and sand, then twice a week mixers to build the bridge. It was a long project and very demanding. Once the job was over, I drove coast to coast for music bands and it was, trying to rest during the day and drive all night. I went from that to farm/Ag trucking and it was 70 hours a week minimum. I finally had enough and am taking a long deserved rest .
