9:30 do those pallets need security straps? Look quite stable to me. I am not truck driver but if I was I would probably skip the operation to save time and effort. I am asking this because I have never seen the truckers in our winery ( we have 4 trucks) put such straps over the pallets.
Hello there!😊 First of all, I put ratchet straps for safety reasons, so I know that I can take the turns without fearing that my cargo will move. In the second place, in Romania especially the penalty fines are very big for not securing your cargo. Take care!😊🙋🏼♀️

I come from a family of truckers, my grandpa was a trucker until the day that he died on the road, my dad is a trucker, unfortunately I didn't pick up the trade, though I do have my CDL as a backup plan. Well I have finally managed to watch all your videos. I started about a month ago and we have travelled through some beautiful country together :) and I have enjoyed every kilometer. I look forward to continuing watching your videos. All I ask as a little favour is for you to take care and stay safe, it matters to me. Safe travels Timea and I wish you well.
I used to climb and crawl on the goods before to remove corners, untie straps etc.. lose a few corners falling down or getting stuck in between or inside the pallets, until one day i watch a driver using a DIY broom handle with a garden scraper head shape like a weird "U" with a hook at the end, time saving and handy tool to pick up the strap on top or place the corners with the pointy tip inside the grooves. There is also "professional" tools for that but i think doing it yourself is better. I recommend at least 1m80 for the broom handle, I tried with a shorter one but sometimes you need to reach 3m from the ground.

what happen in EU if you burn your driving time and you are in a queue to get unload? In america logbook work with satellite so it's easy to move without triggering the driving time. It is not provided by the company, I bought them from the Decathlon ( it is an European sport clothing store) and these pants are dedicated for hiking.😁 Thank you, I always make coffee in this pot.
