May God Bless You Guy's Remember Safety First ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Congratulations to your wife ❤❤💐💐💐💐💐💪🏻💪🏻 From Singapore 🇸🇬
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!
Also, your body will thank you 30 years from now for using mechanical advantages 😊
Haha, let's hope! Lifting them by hand just isn't worth the risk. Rather take an extra few steps to make sure everyone is safe.
Raising walls and a family both of them not easy work, but you seem to be making a good job of both of them. Congratulations on your news and once again a pleasure see you all again, stay well and best wishes to you all..
Congratulation to a great new , that little cutie boy is a great help for his daddy , you may add more bedrooms on the side of the house , great channel .
Maybe try spraying the Dewalt nails with WD40 Before putting them into the gun 👍🙏 I'm also a Central Florida boy... now living in Murphy NC 🥶🥶🥶 HATE THE COLD
Congratulations with the upcoming addition to your awesome family. Great to see you using mechanical lifting, you achieve so much more in a short time and less damages.
CONGRATULATIONS guy but you need kick in butt and get it done get rest of the walls up and roof on it and sooner the better
Good use of the snatch blocks as well as the clamps for additional "hands". After Katrina, used those when I was the only one working on the house and it really helped. Love how your kids are helping to on occasion. Congrats on the newbie coming to your family. Great job on the video!
Thanks for the encouragement 🙏 With the wife pretty much OOC I've got to find ways to make things easier for myself 😅
What an exhilarating week it's been for DIY or DIE! Battling the heat and pushing through the challenges of wall framing with such determination truly showcases your unwavering commitment to your off-grid house build.
It's incredibly inspiring to see your resourcefulness in using the Kubota L47 tractor and snatch block pulley systems to raise those hefty 10-foot walls. Justin's ingenuity in finding solutions, even when faced with obstacles like a lack of trees for a fulcrum point, is truly commendable.
And congratulations on the big announcement! A new addition to the DIY or Die work crew is cause for celebration indeed. While The Muscle may be taking a break, her support and wit from behind the camera will undoubtedly be invaluable. Your resilience and teamwork shine through as you navigate these changes and continue to push forward with your project.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us each week. Your dedication, humor, and innovative spirit are a constant source of inspiration. We're grateful to be along for the ride as you build your off-grid dream home, one exciting update at a time!
Thanks for the extra special comment 😄 we are glad to have people join us who appreciate what we are trying to build here on the homestead!
Congrats on the young one and the house is gonna be awesome to live in just wait and see
Another great video, love how you use the pulley system to raise your walls, saves you time, and the physical strain doing it manual, and congrats on the upcoming addition to the family.
Congratulations on the upcoming addition. Great job on the walls and thanks on the info of the Dewalt nails.
God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
Congratulations praise be to God hope all goes according to his plans proud of you and all you have accomplished
A 20 foot rope tied to the top of the wall and the other end to the tractors loader would have no problem pulling up those walls a lot quicker,, as long as the bottom can't slide off. Pulleys are great, but take a lot of time, which as I recall from one of your previous videos, you don't really have
I reckon you are right, as long as I had a wall to use as a fulcrum and enough space for the tractor. Unfortunately, there wasn't always a wall to use as a fulcrum, and I couldn't always just put the tractor in front of the wall due to the septic field and trees. Fortunately, I've got the pulleys down to an efficient system, and it doesn't take much time at all to rig them up and it allowed me to redirect the line to just the right spot where I could pull it with the Tractor.
Be like the rest of us in construction. man up, stop being a baby, pick it up and hurt your back lol doing great boss
Get yourself a hat that got mesch between the rim and the top so your head is not boiling out and the heat can escape but you still got shade i discovered that when i were fishing and got a mesch one and it works wonderful
OK - NOW you guys have a pretty set in stone deadline...
But you can do it I am sure.
Congratulations,on the news, really enjoying your videos all the way here in England
Sorry for you're trouble with Dewalt nailer. It IS time consuming to 'fix' misfires/jams. Pulled out my Dewalt framing nailer after a couple of years this week, using 2 3/8 inch with no problems but the nails were from 2-3 years ago! But just ordered a fresh batch of DEWALT Framing Nails, Paper Tape, 30-Degree, Ring Shank, Galvanized, Off-Set Round Head, 2 3/8-Inch x .113-Inch, 2000-Pack (DPT-8DR113GFH) and will report back if they work as well. Maybe the length is a factor? - mine are only 2 3/8" long.
Congrats on the news!! You're really going to have your hands full!! Looks great so far!! Best of luck!! CWS Erie Pa.
🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations on the great news.
Quick question will you be extending your home that you are building to accommodate your bundle of joy 🎉
Keep up the great work look forward to your next video.
Sending prayers and well wishes to you both and your family all the way From Great Britain ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on this another miracle from God. Lord watch over Momma and this new creation of Yours. Keep both of them healthy and grow this family addition perfectly. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Congratulations ! May God bless you both and all the beautiful children you both are raising in God grace .
Congratulations to all of you wonderful news. I also had five children its a good number.
Congratulations on new addition. What fresh air and clean living gives with G_Ds blessings.
Congratulations you guys! That's awesome news!
Great job on getting some more walls up as well! I know all about "weekend projects" and it's just a great feeling to see progress on something you've been working on for so long. Thanks for bringing us along on your journey!
Thanks Adam, yes, seeing the progress is very satisfying 😊 hopefully with some luck and good weather we will get this roof on soon!
Congratulations and yes: “thanks be to god”! You’re such a blessing to us old folk who remember the way it used to be with big families who were dedicated to God.
Félicitation pour le bébé.
Formidable travail, le petit homme vous aide bien.
bon courage à vous tous.
Mike here from Charlotte. Luv me some babies, congrats🎉standing those walls with the tractor seems almost effortless. Glad it's working out so well.
Great job and congratulations
Well certainly have plenty more to share as we work through this house build 😀
Hey guys, that is awesome news, congratulations! When is the rough due date? Will your house plans still give you the space/ rooms you'll need, or are you thinking of any kind of internal redesign at all? Great to see the on-going progress still, what a shock though, more nail gun issues lol. Make sure that you all stay EXTRA safe now 😃😃
Congratulations on the great news. GOD bless your family.
Congrats!! Walls looking so good. Do you think you will put up OSB before rafters?
Thanks Lou! Yes we will do the OSB first and then move on to ceiling joists and rafters
Congrats on welcoming another child! And I got to say, as a Minnesotan, you can keep your 90°, I much prefer the under 60° even with snow.
Dewalt is getting a lot of free advertising, I hope they give you something for your troubles.😅
So I guess we will be seeing the addition to the house soon!!!!! Congratulations! Boy or Girl? I may have missed it in past clips or maybe you don't want to share this kind of info ( I will understand) but how old are your current children?
Thanks Allen! Not sure, baby will be a surprise 😄 Also, you are correct...we are intentionally private regarding our family, especially wirh the kids. Thanks for understanding 🙏
@@DIY_or_DIE I am ole school, so I like the not knowing sex of baby until birth!!1 Just old fashion I guess.
what state are you guys in ? , might be time for a straw hat for the summer
Congratulation for coming in the way I hope sea finish the's home 🏡 soon with God everything's ok
God bless to all family
I m enjoy your video every weekend
Looking great! And congratulations!! Are y'all in the Ga. Mountains or south Ga.? Im in the middle but wishing I was in the mountains.
Unlike your hubby, I like cooler temps. Lol the mountains would be perfect. I do love fall, winters and spring in GA. Mild compared to other places. I joke that I hibernate in the ac in summers here. Lol 91 in west central today
Haha, we would be doing the same too if we weren't building! It's 95 right now but we need to get this house dried in!
Congratulations on the expected baby! Have you found out what’s causing them? Ha! I have been watching your videos from the start of your build and one thing that has bothered me is that you do a lot of work on your knees! Make up a couple/few saw horses and stand up! You’re not going to have any knees by the time you’re 50!
Thanks! We are very blessed 🙏 I'll have to look into the saw horses. I tend to prefer doing work on the deck though 🤷♂️
see i watch so many people build home with nail give them up screws all the way use screw bits are cheap to replace now don't get me wrong nails have place just in building a house
Well we shall see if the nail guns work better once I switch back to the paslode nails
I would rather work in 30 to 40° weather, I’d like the cold
I miss the cold weather, because I’m old I’ve been moved to Oklahoma! I hate it here!!!
How many bedrooms will this house have?
@@DIY_or_DIE congrats on the coming addition to your family. You might have to make an addition to your house too.
All in good time 😅 we will finish this one first. But maybe in the future we will build a nice three story addition with an attached garage 🤷♂️
@DIY_or_DIE there has to be a barn in the future to store your Kobota and whatever other toys, I mean equipment you get.
and you got lot scrap wood around build some saw horses and get off your knee because trust me you will pay for it later
Congratulations on new baby, get rid of that yellow nail gun and get the red one Milwaukee all the way
Thanks!
