  • Hiiii! Are you guys proud at how consistent I’ve been? I’ve definitely given myself a Pat in the back 😅
I had so much fun at this job I decided to give it its own spot light.
A concrete pump hose explodes in this video which was crazy to see 😳..
And of course thank you guys for 15k! What a milestone. Have a great weekend

I applaud you Lexie!! I was a teen volunteer firefighter, so I got my CDL quite early. Decades later, when I moved to another state, the examiner at the DMY looked at my license. Under classification it had "A-C". He asked what that meant. I told him I used to drive fire trucks. He asked if I still drove fire trucks. When I said "No", he took out a pair of scissors and cut my license in half. By the way, the fire trucks my town had were manual. With the exception of six years, I have driven manual all of my life.

Nice job editing! When I saw them busting the hose apart it reminded me of two jobs years ago. One was at a college, and they had to run the hose through their library to get to the spot they were placing the concrete (some fancy interior columns). Even with all the precautions, plastic, tarps, and so on... one section of hose burst, and concrete went everywhere. Huge mess but no one was hurt. The second wasn't so funny. My friend was running a 38m boom when a hose burst and cost him his right eye. No safety glasses and it caught him right in the face. Even though that's extremely rare, I'm always leery around them now.

Lexie - Your thumbnails, video editing, text/photo overlays, and especially the sound effects (adding some comedy), "Es muy buena"! You are becoming a good story teller. The low angle gear shifting scenes were also good! I see that some of the camera shots are reversed or backwards because you are using the phone's front facing camera. You can fix that later or 'flip it' in a laptop video editing software so it's normal video (not backwards). Other option, before you shoot video, in the phone's camera settings, you can make video shoot normal. Research on internet, How-to's ... but do not worry about it. With time & practice, you will develop into a more talented content creator 🎬🎥😎

Next time you have the hood open . Look for a sticker on the top or topside of the engine.
Look for maximum torque rating. It should say something like: Max Torque (number) at (number) RPM.
Then next time your on the interstate run that engine at that RPM number.
    You may gain more speed.
Can’t have you out there a sitting duck 🦆!

Just started watching your videos and now my UA-cam recommended is all about concrete. Kinda funny but it did show me some company that is making prefabricated concrete houses that was pretty interesting.

Nice job! You actually care about your job, I know other people older then you that would stand there and look at it and not do anything to try to prevent that like you did.
