Fishing for Giant Snook on Anna Maria Island

Welcome back to the Anna Maria Island Fishing series, in this video I'm going to be fishing the rod and reel pier on Anna Maria Island as well as a canal near the City pier for Snook, Grouper, Redfish and Sheepshead. My dad caught a really nice over slot red which is featured in the early part of this video. I lost a really nice Snook sightfishing using a Zman Mulletron swimbait.

The Snook were following and hitting the Zman Mulletron in the 4inch size. The Johnson gold spoon is a go to also. The Mirrolure Mirrodine is a really good bait there but I didn’t have any luck on it personally. Most of our fish on the trip were sheepshead and those pretty much all came on live shrimp.

At 3:59 there is no way that sheepshead was 18 inches.
