I have two A1’s with AMS and they are great. They are super easy to setup and they just work. I had a WUXN WXR as I was trying to support a US business, but their customer service is horrible so I went with Bambu and it was the right choice.
We need US companies to step up and enter the 3D printer space. I'm curious to see how this A1, falls into place, among my other machines here. So far, looking positive.

I did not get the ams with my A1. Not a big color printing guy. But the A1 has been amazing so far, it just works! Its funny how the Creality Hyper PLA you recommended works extremely well on it!
Hyper is my Favorite. I actually cut a 5 minute segment, where I went over several filaments, and explained what, and why, I like, or don't like. I still mentioned Hyper as my Favorite. Creality has soooo many winning products. They are well respected by players in the industry. AMS is a game changer. Imagine having your 4 most common colors, even for single color, available at any time, without touching a thing
The A1 has a color screen and a touch screen. P1s looks like we're living in 2005 with mono screen. Good video❤
P1 > A1, no contest. But, I do like the screen, and I wish they would port it to the P1. I feel like they did the P1 dirty, with the screen, on purpose, to seperate it from the X1. They new that wasn't going to fly with the A1, as Creality has awesome Klipper pads on their V3 line

Is it necessary to hook up the AMS LITE before carrying out the calibrations or can they be done with no filament at all?
Can be done without filament or AMS. But.... you ideally want your calibrations done, with the machine as it will be, for printing, as the AMS and tubing connections, may affect the vibration readings..
