Thank you for the well paced tutorial. I was having my moments trying to figure things out so had put the project on the back burner. Going to tackle it again with a little more confidence (should be less cussing this time as well:)
Amazing results Gregg! I've being playing around with HueForge with 3D prints, but I think this route looks much easier to compose and print. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
HueForge is tough. They gave me a key, but, I only tried it once. It hurt my brain. I will have to try again. This tool is great. So easy to work with, once you get comfortable with the U/I
Lol. Thank you. I like it. Cammy is not so terrible to look at... 😜Had planned on printing her as part of this video, but, had to abort, due to the video becoming too long. Maybe a follow up?
@@3DRundown ya it would only be the shape without ams . just does surface parts with ams So a repaint arrangement color program it is on your personal photos etc. yes look into later 3 d ty Gregg adventure
For some reason i made one simple with black and white, black for background and white for the icon, and in bambu studio was painted in a single color only. Do you know what i can do to fix this?
Thankyou for this amazing tutorial. I've been going out of my mind on how to do this. I have a question. If I wanted to keep the back of the print in all black how would I do that? Thankyou for the video
Any tips on the top layer quality. I have tried a couple different designs and the top (face up) layer is completely disfigured although the bottom layer (PEI facing) is great.
@@3DRundown thanks for responding. In my case both sides are the same initial so it is the same on either side so I can use the bedside or the top side as the " unquote top. It's just that whichever way it lies that top side always prints poorly. He had if I don't have any of the logo on the top so it's like a blank it's perfectly smooth. It's only when I have a logo on that top side that it seems to have problems. Again both sides are identical. Any help would truly be appreciated.
This is an excellent tutorial but it made me feel very stupid. I've watched several times but for the life of me cannot understand how to assign colors properly (A1 + AMS Lite). In fact, I've never managed multicolor prints unless I get a ready2print hueforge file. I'm not sure what is going wrong or where I'm losing it but something about the manner in which colors are assigned is completely defeating me. Any suggestions?
I suspect you are losing your way, in the final step, before sending the print. When you prepare to send the print, look at the AMS color graph, on the "Print Screen". Looking only at the TOP COLOR, where the 1st color, on the left, is the 1st slot, on the left, of your AMS, choose which slot, that color is in. Do the same, for the rest of the colors. For example: If, on the print screen, the 1st color, shows BLACK (the TOP color, not the bottom), select which slot, in your AMS, the BLACK is in. If it's in Slot 2 (from left to right), choose Slot 2. Even if it shows the wrong color, on the bottom)
Kick Ass Video! Thanks! When I download my keychain with filement color assigned correctly, it opens in studio with 1 color..... In your video, the color transferred seamlessly. What am I doing wrong?
Me neither! Lol. I draw stick figures, and diagrams, then have an artist draw the real thing. Same way I design my @greggadventure props. I wish I could draw or animate like this.
I feel your pain. I never get to do ANYTHING for myself, and can't even keep up with making all these videos. My K1C is still in the box.. 😭😭😭 Your A1 Mini build will be super easy. Get it done!
Ah yes. Always pay close attention to licensing. Using a Patreon and such, is usually your best bet, so you know for SURE, you are on the up, and won't have to deal with anything like this.
"These photos were taken by my of my very own girlfriend" WTF. I think this was meant to be a brag in a video unrelated to women in bikinis, but succeeds in making the creator look like a total fool
Just say "I don't get any, and I'm Jelly". We understand. I'm an internationally published (hundreds of times) professional Photographer, and my GF, is a former Professional Model. Cry more. 😂😂🤡

thank you
Very welcome. If you make something lemme see it. :)
Love this video! How can one embed a hole for nfc tag into it?
Thanks in advance
Right Click, add negative part
How do you do this without a ams ? As in one color.
Also will it do 3d as in figure stature ? Ty Gregg
Could assign everything to the same color. Probs look like nothing though. Only does flat. There is another tool for 3d though. I'll check it out

I feel like it's how you exported it. Did you choose 3MF? An STL will not have the color data
@3DRundown hmm might be that. Thanks.

make a small cut, assign the entire cut to black.
@@3DRundown ok great thankyou I appreciate your response! And I love the videos you really help us newbies out!
Thank you. Good to have you. :)
for anyone else looking for this, i simply set the default thickness to 5mm, and set the image thickness to 3mm, giving me a 2mm back colour

I would mirror the model, and use the BED SIDE as the top.

You'll see me doing it here. (A) is my 1st AMS, and (B) is my second AMS: ua-cam.com/video/qgQ4ubvnPm8/v-deo.htmlsi=EIRTefljUdHAQnck&t=1115

🤔🤔 Possible you are choosing STL rather than 3MF
How can you show the same image on both sides?
One side will be mirrored. Unless maybe the shape is uniform, and you stack it
8 colors, do you know if it is possible in a Bambu Lab A1 with 2 AMS?
Bambu looks to be sticking to one so far
