I bought a A1 and have been printing small parts for in the house to solve problems. Really like the speed so i can iterate on the solutions. Haven't printed multi color yet but enjoy the machine.
Onya doggsy! I do love a good iteration on a solution!
Got my A1 combo last friday. Did a 12 hr print overnight and it went like 90% great. 2 little corners were lifting from esrlt on apparently. Not surr why it didn't stick
@@monsterhunterrivi6303 It's due to the plastic warping as it cools down. Try to use a small brim.
Finally got my bed replacement two days ago, it was an easy change to do. Love this printer!
I have the A1 with AMS and mostly print one color too. It's an amazing machine even if you use the AMS only for the practicality of quickly loading and unloading filaments. It's a nice thing to have for when you want to do something multicolor (like labelling your gridfinity bins). I didn't know I had the "new" and fixed one until I saw your video
For the poop, the next version of Bambu Studio uses the retraction technique to reduce waste filament by up to 50%. It is currently in beta Also the more copies your print of a model the less waste there is. I haven't done multi colour for this reason as most of my parts are functional right now but better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.
I've always built my own printers, I thought the mini would be a nice printer for small jobs . Im so impressed I'm selling my printers and adding the A1 . No headaches, perfect prints, there's no need to mod it .
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
01:05 *🔌 The original Bambu Lab A1 3D printer faced a serious issue with the cable delivering Main's power to the bed heater, which posed a potential fire hazard.*
03:07 *🔧 Bambu Labs addressed the cable issue by completely over-engineering it with softer, more flexible copper, thicker insulation reinforced with Kevlar, and additional strain relief.*
04:58 *📏 Rigorous testing showed that the new cable design effectively eliminated the previous fire risk, even under extreme conditions.*
06:49 *🖨️ The Bambu Lab A1 is user-friendly, producing high-quality prints with minimal setup and maintenance, suitable for those less interested in tinkering with hardware and software.*
09:21 *🌍 While innovative, features like AMS units can generate significant filament waste, posing environmental concerns despite enhancing print capabilities.*
11:35 *💼 Bambu Labs' response to the cable issue, including a swift product recall and generous compensation options, reflects a commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.*

Also I got the lamp with mine . Which was a nice surprise
I kept my A1 and opted for the bed swap which I did taking the obligatory photos for proof, The swap was pretty straight forward and I sent off the photos to Bambu, However, it is almost a month since doing this and I still have not received the promised voucher. I have tried contacting Bambu about this but have heard nothing. Whilst I applaud their dealing with the potential bed issue I am a little disapppointed that the promised vouchers appear not to be forthcoming in a timely manner.
I was told all current RMA tickets would be complete, including vouchers, by the end of this month. Let me know if it isn’t done by then.
@@ElevatedSystems I will let you know either way. Hopefully something will happen before the end of month. Thanks.
@@loquacious1956 that’s weird when I did mine I got my voucher 2 days later in my email.
I had an rma ticket opened for a bed replacement in march, still haven’t gotten a package (in the contiguous us)-am I doing something wrong?
@@tejjaskaul5881 try rechecking to make sure all the information you provide is correct. That can be a potential reason.
superbe vidéo , mais toujours pas reçu mon bed de remplacement en france , est ce normal ???
I just took my pre recall A1 that admittedly had no damage to the power cable for the updated model to micro center netted me 120$ gift card and 74 dollars money back due to the fact that the printers are currently on sale and they paid me back the difference
Two things.
The software is open source and has been forked to orca slicer.
Its possible to forgo the cloud service by enabling lan-mode.
Which printer would u suggest for beginner for both tinker and user experience ? Elegoo neptune 4 plus or such ?
Depending on your budget either the Prusa MK3s+, Prusa MK4 or Creality Ender 3.
@@ElevatedSystems my budget for fdm is something like 1000euros ish, but at that pricepoint P1S with ams is very tempting, but i want to learn about the printers also( tinkering wise) so idk ^^
@@ServTech1337 Then Prusa.
@ 7:11 What's a nozzel???
The hole where the plastic comes out of when you print
I GOT S BOAT MOTOR WHITH MINE 😅
I got my A1 2 days ago and this bumper was nowhere to be found. The cable is the new one, but no bumper.
And also the surprise box was missing. It seems they don’t send those anymore.
I purchased direct in Canada a week or so ago when the updated A1 came back on the market. It had tghe bumper, updated print bed cable, and surprise project which was a simple LED lamp… almost missed it, double check your box, just in case.
I received my A1 the week after you, and it also did not have a bumper. However, it did come with a "surprise project", I got the wireless mouse kit.
@@websherpa the bumper I found. It came loose somehow. The surprise project was not in the package, checked everything.
Bambulabs Canada recently shipped a known defective A1 with a recall notice on powerup on the LCD. They have not contacted the customer and have not informed the government that the unit could cause a fire and possible electrocution since February. The unit was delivered close to the Burnaby depot and they could have easily shipped a working unit and a tech to make it right. Drive time is now 28 minutes. Avoid this shoddy company. I have unopened X1C and P1P and an A1 Mini. Perhaps I will return them tomorrow if nothing is resolved.
Its jst a lack of knowledge, the first rule when you print multi color is fill the bed simply and that way the waste is more acceptable than single multi print. Thats the way buddy ...
Are you a Bambu salesman?
The product speaks for itself .
