Thanks mate, you made a great choice for you first machine. The simplex will not let you down 👌. Just remember to learn the tones and dig everything to start with 👍. Thanks for watching
Thank you buddy, so pleased for young William that day, I think he smiled from ear to ear for the rest of the day and all the way home 👌. Thanks for watching mate, much appreciated 👍
Thank you very much mate and congratulations on purchasing a fantastic machine 👏. It really is great and I for one have found some incredible find with mine. Check out some of my older videos for hints and tips on the simplex 👍. Thank you for watching
Well done Guys what a day 🤩 How lovely for William getting his first hammered your lovey buckle and Jetton but Thomas’s large hammered winner of the day great video brilliant finds
Thank you Lesley, one of my favourite days detecting so far, mad by the smile on Williams face for me 👌. Yes Tom's huge Charles 2nd shilling was just incredible and definitely the best find of the day 👌. Thank you for watching 😁
Thanks Glen mate, really appreciate the kind comments 👍. Young William was chuffed to bits with his hammered cut half and it was great to see the smile on his face. Thank you for watching 😁
Omg 😲 what a day. I was impressed by the pottery then the treasures just kept coming. That huge hammered coin is soooò lovely great day out for you all and congrats to the little hunter for his first hammered
Hey buddy, hope you are well and hope you had a great time at detectival 👍. We had such a great day mate, the little lads smile when he found that hammered made it for me 👌. Thank you for watching 😁
Thank you so much kelvin, this video seems to have been quite popular and there are definitely some very fond memories in there for me too 🙌👌. Thank you again for watching mate 👍
Bought a Simplex and it came yesterday. Never metal detected before, have no permissions as yet either, but a friend has. So watching videos to learn.👍👍😉 I have watched metal detecting Tubers for years, most recently the Scottish Detectorist and he said that stars represnet a Scottish coin, that was on a hammered he found, but you would think it follows on this first coin. Very nice. Subbed.👍
I always thought that same about the stars mate, and I've still not founds another one like it in my searches through books etc. Thank you for watching mate 👍
There are some days detecting that money just can't buy lol 😆 and this was one of those days 👌. What made it for me was seeing the smile on young Williams face with his first ever hammered coin 👍. Thank you for watching buddy 😁
can't believe you found that damaged hammy on a 19 with the simplex I always ignored 17-19 as it's coke reading's up here wonder what I've missed 🙃🙃🙃some lovely finds there Dan is that you back in love with the Simplex 🤣🤣🤣never found a cut half or quarter well done 👏 keep up the videos mate looking forward to trying my LEGEND on your settings 👍
Always dig the low numbers if they sound good mate, usually my curiosity gets the better of me and I dig most signals lol 😆 if it's trash I just forget I found it and move on 🤣. I've always had a love for the simplex mate, but I have to say I can't wait for the legend to come home. Let me know how you get on with those settings mate. Thanks for watching
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting will do mate very nervous the simplex will be very close bye 🤣 looking forward to your next one hopefully your legend is back 👍
What a day you guys have had, all those hammered and that Jetton wow, well done little man proper grand work there with that cut half 💪🏼👍🏻 So great to see you back on the mighty Simplex albeit temporarily, I’m still using mine and getting the goods. Great video and a great channel all the best Dan mate 👍🏻
Hey buddy, hope you are well 👍. Thanks for watching again and yes the simplex did me proud and will always be my backup machine for times like these so will come out from time to time lol 👌.
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting just great to see someone hitting the amazing finds again with simplex, not many out there doing that nowadays mate 🤔 I’m still loving mine Dan up ere in lakes had a couple of silver and a hammered a month or so ago. @@ablettgone it's a real shame mate as the simplex it a truely great machine for the money 👌. Unfortunately times move on and machines get better and better. Just like the legend, for the money you pay its such an amazing machine and well worth the upgrade if you ever fancied a change. I would always be more than happy to help you learn it 👍. Sounds like the simplex is treating you as well as it always did for me mate, well done 👏
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting thanks for the kind words Dan mate, and if I could afford the Legend I’d be holding it now but times are poo right now marra and but gotta be optimistic mate I’ll get there 👍🏻 and thanks so much Dan, much appreciated great work on your channel love it 👌🏻
Awesome what a lovely first find and a good condition Jetton well done Simplex. Your second find the buckle was an interesting find. Your mates hammered was a lovely find and in good condition. The Charles hammered was something else so huge a beauty well done to him. So chuffed for William finding his first hammered really pleased for him. Overall you all had a good day with the hammered coins and other coins and artifacts. Until the next one take care. PS Sorry if I'm late in watching this video.
always with great finds, you're amazing, whatever the machine, but I'm worried, your legend went to the hospital, it's so serious, I fear for my legend!!
Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍. My legend speaker broke so have sent it off for a new one to be fitted, nothing to worry about mate as Nokta will always sort any issues very quickly 👍. Thank you for watching
Thanks mate, quite often you will dig iron, as it can give off a good tone, but there are ways to avoid it. If you are suspicious of a signal, I use 2 techniques. 1. The wiggle test, slowly wave your coil over the target while moving the coin back away from it. If you get iron grunts toward the edge of the signal then walk away. 2. And my favourite, is the pump test. Again if you are suspicious, pump the coin up and down over the target like you would when ground balancing and again if it gives you iron grunts then you are good to walk away 👌. Hope that helps mate. Thank you for watching
They are just false signals on iron mate 👍. If you have just got your simplex, you should do exactly that, dig everything and learn the tones for each item that comes up. Try not to rely on the screen too much. If you learn the tones, you will master that machine and it will produce great things 👌. Thank you for watching

Any pinpointer will work mate as the simplex has a mute button, so if the pointer interferes with it, you can just mute it. 😁👍
