Thank you for sharing this recipe! Excited to try it. Can any type of the French Cream in the link provided be used in this recipe?
Any heavy cream will work, but French is best
Wow!! Looks so fluffy and yummy! Thanks for the wonderfully easy recipe. I must try it. If I use plain flour, how much baking powder should I use?
1 tsp baking powder per cup of flour
@@ieatishootipost thanks much, Doc!
@@zhuangjingmei1168 Welcome!
Hi. Thinking of doubling recipe & freezing either unbaked dough or baked scones. Any thought? 😀
Sure. It should be ok
Hi Doc, are you using 200ml or 150g cream for the scones? Your youtube and written recipe show different amount.
150g to make the scones. 200ml to whip the cream.
Hi Doc, is it necessary to warm up the cream? I do not have a microwave oven. 😁
Yes, it is important. Just warm the cream over some hot water.
@@ieatishootipost Thks. Will do that.
When you say heavy cream , is it whipping cream at 35% fat is doable ?
Yes, that will work!
Can we used blue Berry Instead of bak kwa
Fresh blueberries might be too wet. Can try dried ones.
💜👍💜👍
Thanks!
Bak kwa bro? Seriously??? Hehe, thanks for sharing. God Blesaed 🙏🙏🥳🥳
Never try, never know, bro!
@@ieatishootipost tqvm bro 🥳🥳🥳
It's actually available outside, though not commonly found. I've bought it before, loved it and also made it myself because I loved it so much.
@@simplyme3306 Yes, scones are readily available but they are usually made with butter, not cream.
@ieatishootipost but I'm wondering if it is as fragrant as using butter since butter has like 81% fat?
What is bak kwa ?
Its a type of sweet pork jerky that is very popular here in Singapore
