Black Forest Cup Cake Recipe - with French Cream

- Blackforest cake always brings back fond memories for me. It was the first cake I ever tasted which has fresh cream! Back in the 70's most of the cakes were still only using butter cream.
But I always find creaming a cake quite laborious. So, I simplify things by putting all the components in a glass. You still get all the flavours of a blackforest cake but it is so much easier to do!
One of the key ingredients of the blackforest cake is the freshly whipped cream. The quality of French cream is always very good, so do look out for it when you are buying your ingredients for the cake!

Sure. UHT cream can be kept quite long.
