Good stuff. On your last video you mentioned that you were going to do a video about AutoChart Pro, and it got me thinking about my AutoChart Pro program that I haven’t played with in awhile, so I took the day of work Friday and spent ten hours mapping several spots on a pretty big lake that has no charts. Sunday I plan to import the files into AC Pro and play with the 3D mosaic. The AC Live chart looked great on the Hummindird, especially after learning from your last video how to setup the MIN and MAX Depths, what a difference that one thing does to make maps look really good.
Nice video but there is one AWESOME feature on that program that I don't think you have covered in any of your videos. It's called "Side Imaging Mosaic". You map every inch of the bottom with side imaging and then make a mosaic so you have side imaging of the entire lake bottom. Or at least the part of the lake you want. So now you have a picture of every rock, stump, tree, weed, sunken boat or shanty, etc that may be holding fish.
BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO, That is a great video, I gleaned a lot of information, thanks for going slow.. I still haven't got the knack of how you manipulated the files at the end, I'm not a computer expert. I'll be going over this video many more times.. Your presentation was great. Thanks for your Assistance to be Sure.. Doug

It sure is wild how advanced humminbird and just technology as a whole has come. Just 10 years ago I purchased a black n white humminbird matrix with gps and thought it was best fish finder ever
Your video's are great. One question though, here in Canada Lakemaster doesn't have mapping in the Northern lakes of Ontario. Humminbird informed me that Navionics MSD/NAV + CA would be the way to go. This card has all the lakes around Algoma Region. My question to you is Will the Autochart PC or Autocahart Pro PC work the same as with Lakemaster mapping. Also I have looked all over Humminbirds web site and can't find where or how to download Autochart PC.. Thanks in Advance for your Time.. Doug
It works very similar to the lake master card but with the new generation units you can only upload back to the zero lines card after transferring from auto chart pro. This will give you ample space on the card for a ton of recordings. Hope this helps
Great video. I am still a little confused. Did you actually overwrite the Lakemaster Card or you put the new created map back on the Zero lines map card ?
Great vid.. thanks helped allot.. everything seems to be normal up till I look for that BT folder after after clicking on map and updating lake master.. BT folder never shows up?.. also what's an I supposed to see when I put the zero line card back in the unit? All I get is what appears to be the raw recorded AC live info? Thought there was supposed to be a finished map? Called HB no help..
Have a problem and hope it’s simple. I used you videos to set up my PC map. Shut the autochart pc program down. And when I started back up, I couldn’t find the maps I created. Was I supposed to save it before I shut down?
Hi thank you so much for the video! We university students are really benefitting from your information!!! However, I have one quick question: Do the black contour lines you make list the specific depth of that particular contour? Or is that information available somewhere else, or just seen by the color?
Glad to help! The black contour lines will also have a depth numbered on them. The colors are just to make it easier to read certain depth. Hope this helped
Thank you for the video. Helps out a lot. Quick question... Should I be setting the max depth at the max depth of the entire lake I'm recording on? Or just the max depth of the area I have recorded? For instance, I'm going to do some recording at a lake in my area tomorrow. The max depth of the entire lake is at about 250 ft right now, but the area of that lake I'll be recording tops off at about 40 ft. So am I setting the max depth at 250 ft or 40 ft? Appreciate the information.
No problem! You should set the max depth at 40 foot to get the most colors then everything deeper than 40 will be dark blue. If you set the max depth to 250 the color would only change ever 20 foot instead of ever foot r 2
Hey man, great video. I have tried to get some tech support to no avail from the Hummingbird folks. How do you get all of the green data boxes to create a map? When I right click , it will only create a section of the map. Also, when correcting bad data spots, how do you get that data from the card to the software (just keeps creating the same map). Thx!
From the zero lines card after you uploaded the map to the card. It will create a new folder. If you open it up before and after u will know which one to drag n drop to your pc
Thanks for all the great information! When you transfer your new map from the computer program and you delete (only the autochart mapping information) from the zero line card. And you upload it to a normal SD card. My question is, will the helix still be compatible with my i pilot motor and still be able to follow designated contour lines?
I made autochart maps with the helix 7 G3N. Option-folow the contour- is not working on my i pilot link minn kota and ... I record autochart in internal memory of G3N.. I dont have -zero line- card. Is that problem or what?
Does what you're demonstrating here only work if you have Lake Master maps? I'm in Northern Ontario, Algoma Region and there are no Humminbird Lake Master maps for our lakes here in Elliot Lake, Dunlop Lake, Depo chain of 4 lakes so can I still do what our doing without losing my original data from my Zero Line Card?
Can i use this from A autochart live to a 999hdsi? And from the 999 hdsi to the helix 7 g2n ? I have zerolines card in the helix 7 g2n And autochart pro card in the 999 Along with a sd card
Im actually unsure as I've never transferred from an 999 to a helix but the only way to try is to insert the pro card into a computer and drag the info into a folder then insert the live card in and try to drag n drop the info onto that card and see if it works on the helix
When you import the information to your Autochart PC program does that remove the data that was stored on your Zero Line Card and place it on your computer?
Hey great video, I purchased the Zero Lines SD card after watching your video. I wanted to ask you if I buy the PC software is it going to work on my MAC? I think this is pretty cool, but I can't find the PC software for MAC.

To each there own with cost and affordability but this has treated me very well for 5 years now www.hodgesmarine.com/hum600032-1-humminbird-autochart-pro-dvd-pc-mapping-software.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiAgomBBhDXARIsAFNyUqMrPOXsQBOMYwZMEf93A0UBgjEcA5iZU52gvjNeWWlZ8r6t--lW-KQaAjm6EALw_wcB
Will autocrat pro work with apple
Unfortunately they have not made a mac version but there r rumors of software programs that can be downloaded on the mac to use pc software but do not know first hand
Nope you lost me a 11:00. Did you already have a file with the lake on it to drag the new file to? I'm computer illiterate and your screen is to hard to see what you are clicking on. Thanks for getting me halfway there but having a cool map on my computer doesn't help me on the lake!
The main thing is…..when I humminbird catching up with the world……and makes it work on the Mac ……so annoying 😭
I wish they would too. They have to eventually
Are you aware of ANYWHERE that has videos teaching how to use Autochart Pro? Your video only covers a fraction of the program.
WARNING UPDATE: I just purchased in DEC 2020 a New Humminbird Zero Lines Card and it came with a Yellow WARNING Card that says: >>>>>>>>Do NOT delete or change the AC Folder, LKMaster folder or SI Folder on the ZeroLine Map Card. Removing or changing these folders will permanently damage the ZeroLine Map Card. A fee of $$19.95 for S&H and Maintenance will be charged for a rewrite of these files in the event of user error
I dont understand how this can be possible to develop when the program is made to be transferred on and off the pro pc program to create maps
@@HumminbirdHelp Sir, not trying to be a PITA, I think what is causing my confusion (and maybe for others as well) is the verbiage you chose to use? @12:08 "Delete all this information off there" and then @12:25 "Insert a blank SD Card" Maybe you meant to say (Insert a blank SD Zero Lines Card)? I do appreciate your contributions to our sport and hobby of fishing. I do work in Tech Support industry and seen loose verbiage unwillingly cause harm on a few occasions. Blessings to You and Yours. I agree, you definitely do not want to delete any of the folders that came stock on the zero lines card. Only the data recorded and created within the acdata folder.
