*Showed me exactly where **enjoyable.fishing** recommend fish were from the bank was amazed at how on spot it was! Love it very easy to use portable and kept a good charge was out 8 hours.*
Good video, can you do one on explaining perhaps maybe the different variations on the maps? And/or give insights on good areas to fish based on the highlights of the map structure in the overall demographics?
I’ve charted and saved when I go back it’s still on the chart but I’m not able to open up what I charted back at the house. How do I open up what I charted back at the house plugged in to the wall reception?
The only app video I have done was on software updates. It's been a while since I've used it but I believe it has most if not all of the same shading options. I'll have to check it out and get back to you!
I have a question: how come when i use to have my helix 9 g4n the maps show me lake contour and depth, but after i sold it and got a helix 7 g4 (not g4n) my maps dont have no more of anything but just show white with a red line???
What sucks, Lakemaster plus is just basic on alot of lakes near me. I couldn't wait to try it out but it looks exactly like it did before, without the Lakemaster plus card. I tried watching your video, some good information, thank you, however, I feel it picks and chooses the more popular lakes, just my opinion anyways.
Thanks for watching this video! Make sure to check out the Humminbird Playlist for similar content!
Clear concise. The new VX Lakemaster cards have shallow water highlights plus 4 more custom depth highlights
Thank you! Love the VX Premium!

Being a new helix user, this video explained a lot to me. Thank you!
No problem. Thanks for watching!!
You are very good at explaing the features so I can understand what ot adjust and how to adjust.
Thank you very much! Is there anything in particular you would like to see in a future video?
Great video! Just purchased my card, can't wait to try it out!
That's awesome! You're gonna love it
Many Many thanks buddy I have watched several videos of yours it helped alot to get my Hummingbird set up . Super nice jobs on all of them
Thank you very much!!!
Im using lakemaster vx premium. Im just trying to learn with all my questions 😊thank you in advance.

Thanks a lot. I’ve had lowrance for the last four years. Just switched back to helixes and this vid helps a ton.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Anything in particular you'd like to see next?
Thanks Jon…I’m working my way thru your Humminbird videos!
Hell yeah! Gonna have some more posted up soon!
Great explanation
Thank you!
Nicely done, tons of info for learning and done in a way that's easy to understand. Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! We got more videos coming!
Thanks for the video. I learned about the hack for having a second highlight depth.
I'm glad you got some value out of it! I appreciate you watching! We will have more to come!
Good video, can you do one on explaining perhaps maybe the different variations on the maps? And/or give insights on good areas to fish based on the highlights of the map structure in the overall demographics?
Great recommendation! I will get something going!
I mean with any color you choose i see how you will determine if its a hard or soft bottom???
I did a video on the vx premium as well. Check it out
Great information, Thank you
Yessir! Thanks for watching. We've got more videos like this one coming up!
The reason you do highlight is if fish are biting in that area, contour, and to avoid shallow areas
Good info!
I own Helix 5 G2 and just bought Lakemaster chip and I can't get the lakemaster chip to work on my until. Any advice
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Did you try to use the card in another unit to confirm the card was good?
Very helpful clear And easy to understand You're doing a great job
Thank you for the positive feedback! It means a lot! Got a new Humminbird video up this morning!
I’m just starting to chart. How do I save and open iup what I charted back at the house plugged in at to the wall ?
I’ve charted and saved when I go back it’s still on the chart but I’m not able to open up what I charted back at the house. How do I open up what I charted back at the house plugged in to the wall reception?
Please help me get started
I’m 65years old so please start from charting to opening it up at the house on what I’ve just charted
Maybe lm not saving it right
I don't understand your question. What are you trying to save while at home?
Enjoyed your video
Thank you very much!
Awesome tips!
Thank you! We have more Humminbird videos coming soon!
Good information!!
Glad it was helpful!
How do you determine what ‘normal’ pool level is on the map? That would be a starting point to figure out if it plus/minus a certain amount.
It doesn't matter. If the map says you're in 5 foot and your ducer says 10 increase by 5.
How did you change the colors ? I can't figure mine out at all.
What card do you have?
Great video!
Thanks for the visit
Nice tips, thx!
No problem. Will be doing more videos in the future!
Does this work without the lake Master chart. It's just in the settings?
You must have a lakemaster card to make these adjustments.
You made it white but how do you know if its hard or soft bottom?????.
This card did not have that option. It's the shaded relief feature. Check out my vx premium video
Does the fish smart app allow for all of these settings? Have you done a fish smart app video?
The only app video I have done was on software updates. It's been a while since I've used it but I believe it has most if not all of the same shading options. I'll have to check it out and get back to you!
Thank you, I'm not sure I've been able to even connect properly. I will be able to try some things after this video.
I'm running into issues where my helix 10 is white on part of the borders like yours 1:38 secs. On my helix 12 it doesn't do that. Why is that?
What I'm seeing at 1:38 is just where the unit is refreshing when I'm scrolling through the chart screen.
Can I use lakemaste in a helix 7
Yes you can, but pay attention to the compatibility because some of the newer map cards won't work on the older units.
hello yesterday after an automatic restart there are no more saved points. how can i recover them?
You may not be able to get them back unless you backed them up on an sd card
I bought the lakemaster plus but it's not downloading into my helix . I've called humminbird hopefully it's a simple fix
The only thing I can think of is making sure you have Lakemaster or Auto selected for map source under the Chart tab.
This one was very well
Done my man
I appreciate that!
How do you look up your trip and max mph
Have you tried adding this to your Overlay?
How do you track reefs or rocks?
And what kind of Humminbird fish finder is this? I need to buy one and make a map for my lake.
The unit I'm using is a Helix. Check out Russell Marine Products if you are looking to make a purchase. Holler if you have any questions
Can the lake master card be viewed on a PC?
No, they cannot but you can download individual lake maps with Chart Select on PC or Fishmart for android or iPhone users. Thanks for watching!
I have a question: how come when i use to have my helix 9 g4n the maps show me lake contour and depth, but after i sold it and got a helix 7 g4 (not g4n) my maps dont have no more of anything but just show white with a red line???
Sounds like you had a Lakemaster card in your old unit. You will need another one if you want the contour information
Do you recommend the strikemaster?
I have never used the strikemaster but it has the aerial imagery as well as recommendations on where to fish based on time of year etc...
Here for the algorithm
LOVE YA!

Yes they do leave out some of the smaller lakes but that's where the autochart feature comes in handy! I'll have to do a video on that as well
@@BehindTheReelFishing that would be great. I would love to try that out.
@@escobarb69 Awesome. I'll try to put something together somewhat soon! Thanks for watching!
