You can't compete against UA-cam.
They have the backing of Google which gets billions in tax breaks, subsidies and grants essentially making it an unbreakable monopoly.
It can only get competition from behmoth corporations such as Apple or Microsoft and I don't think they want to risk waging a war on UA-cam since they use a lot of Google software.
If companies COULD compete, they would have.

It's great to see an at least mildly optimistic video about the state of UA-cam. It's been mostly awesome for me as well, and I think a lot of the negativity surrounding YT is a bit overstated. In addition to Facebook, Twitch also has emerged as a major competitor and I'm super excited to see what this arms race brings.

I always get 6 to 7 "air pushed through nose" laughs, 4 to 5 "hmm" enthusiastic low volume audible noise laugh, and 2 to 3 "hahaha" three ha full volume audible laughs. the best laughs are always the smart "you have to know the reference" laughs, and I seem to always get them. Love the videos and keep up the good work

Honestly in order to find quality content it takes hundreds of subscriptions in order to tailor your recommended feed to recommend quality channels. It sucks but once you get it to work you find a goldmine of content

Harrison Davis wow how many viewers/subscribers do you have? Chances are if you made $100 you have gotten enough views to be considered a UA-camr.
Another thing to consider is UA-cam can only get so much money from advertisers so they are running out of money for the creators... To make the problem even worse there are more and more UA-camrs needing to be paid.
So by not giving the millions of random children uploading shitty Roblox videos their $5 per year they are in turn saving money for the bigger UA-camrs that need it more.
I have never felt so bored yet so interested in content ever.
Dude you actually killed that advertisements though, I've seen the dollar shave club ad before and you're the only one besides jacksfimls (Dack Jouglas) who brings attention to the ad while still mixing content into it.
