Thanks for the tips! I had purchased my a 2011 Cam Am Commander from a private party, who had an issue with the rear differential they had purchased from Mudd N Wheels. I had sent the diff in and they honored the warranty, however we still couldn't get the car to in gauge under load. So when I inspect the belt I found that the Tightening Bolt for the secondary clutch had back all the way out. I hope once I reinstall with red lock tight, I'll have the issue corrected.
yes you can use a torsional spring or a flat bottom compression spring in these applications, can-am uses both and the stock secondary and helix will accept either.
not all can-am have torsional springs. You can watch some of my other install videos to see how to put together a secondary with a standard compression spring like the stock Maverick spring.
Been fighting this damn spring for a month. Thank you!!

this video just saved my ass!
Do you do clutch work for the Brute Force? Didnt see it on your website.
If I bought a new replacement bolt, would I still need to use loctite?
ALWAYS use loctite on the secondary bolt or its going to back out.
Can I use the spring that don't have the pins on a secondary and helix that has the holes in them

When you use the red locktite do you have trouble getting the bolt back out
yes, if you use red loctite it can be almost impossible to get out by double-nut method. you will need to weld a nut to the end of the stud
Thanks man!
Standard or fine thread ?
Great video adam thank you!
