One tip that would help a bit, the size and length of primary and secondary clutch centre mounting bolts. They never come with a new clutch and they are hard to find, even on their site. Rebuilding an old 500 and the original parts are pricey.
Hi mate. Have you got a video of how to raplace the back box that the cvt cover screws into. Mine has cross threaded and I need to replace it. Love your work
We might have a video taking it off, I honestly can't remember but not fixing cross threaded screws, I would get a thread chaser not a tap and fix them
My secondary is stuck open what do you think could be wrong I just noticed my issue about 30 minutes before watching your video .i have a can am maverick sport 2019
because it appears it takes a different belt and we can only make or sell belts that sell, pretty spendy to make or keep all years in and you do not sell many that old. Buy a Timken Ultimax for it
I wish I would have seen this video before I did mine. Definitely going to buy your clutch holder tool for the secondary soon. Great video bud👍🏼
I appreciate that
Excelente explicación detallada no trabajo esos equipos pero fue interesante su explicación Excelente siga así sr
nice vid; easy to follow.
Can-am's, like the Audi of the atv world.... Seems like I am buying special tools for every minor maintenance job.
True for sure!!

We only recommend the OEM, they are not just regular bolts and they are rarely needed.
Same torque spec for a 2021 outlander 650 secondary bolt?

The shaft under the spring on my 21 570 xmr won’t come off or budge at all how do I get it off?
Guess I need a pic of what you are talking about, todd@hunterworks.com
Dose the primary and secondary use the same type of bolt?
Guess that depends on what you mean, they are both torque to yield and technically supposed to be used just once
Manual says to us the Stretch Bolt again! At least on my 2016 max xt 570. is that model year specific? TY
I doubt it says to use a stretch bolt again, so if it says use again, it is not a stretch bolt
@@Hunterworks It says to Never use again sorry!
@@Tom-ej8bb I know what it says we just don’t do that
My secondary is stuck open what do you think could be wrong I just noticed my issue about 30 minutes before watching your video .i have a can am maverick sport 2019
Can't say based off this, would need a pic but I would say you just gonna have dig into it and see what you see.
Wondering why you can't sell belts for atv before years 2009 ?

Where did you get the tool that holds the secondary?
We sell them, www.hunterworks.com
my uncle got a 2018 canam defender and he replaced his belt but it’s extremely loose after it slaps the top
After he cranked it up, revved it up and back down?
@@Hunterworks yes but he tooo the clutch apart and found a broken washer or plastic piece in there
@@takuache338 then probably the rollers fails
nice clean video so i could tell if it was left or right hand threaded on the secondary clutch
Its right. If left we would let you know.
Thanks
Does it matter what gear the atv is in when you do this?
No
OOps To Never Use the stretch bolt again!
We do reuse them
I seen I guy say use 55 foot pounds
he is wrong, this is the only correct method, should not do it that way.
