I put the cv tech clutch on the outlander 570, now I have the sound of klank and klunk when I move from place and twitch 3 or 4 times when moving and the belt then makes a sound wau wau, please advice
Torque sticks make that so easy too. They’re all we use anymore at the shop except really particular jobs & when Inch Pounds vs. Foot Pounds are required like on the spring cup bolts on CVTech PB80 snowmobile clutches
The torque on the secondary is only like 50 ft lbs plus 180deg turn. It's a stretch one time use bolt. But he just said screw it impact the crwp out of it a d se d it. Lol The primary bolt is reusable.
Adam, is it possible to replace the OEM one way bearing with the sealed one you have and keep stock primary clutch? Can't afford a whole clutch set up and don't want to have to grease it on a regular basis. Or would you say that's a bad idea or not even possible?
I have a 2011 can am outlander maxx 800 xt-p, On one video you said you sold the bolt to spread open the secondary? how much are they? also do you sale the bolt to take off the primary? How much is it?
Adam, does removing the inner half of the primary on a 400 Can-am use the same procedure as shown in this video? And does a Kawasaki clutch puller work on a 400 like it does on the bigger Can-ams?
one you have a air dam installed, first time taking one off, do i just pull the bolt out and insert the clutch puller? where as before you had to pull the bolt and pull the clutch off and then put the puller in
I have 2012 xmr with 19hrs never been dogged in mud or similrar torture. But I just recently noticed a squily noice coming out of my belt snorkle the one with the mesh cover. The noice is only very brief but if i give it gas like just tapping the accelertor there's when the noice comes in. Any ideas why is doing that? I've had it for nine months no more waranty. The quad runs awesome foward and reverse is just that little noice that concerns me. I strongly believe i bought the quad out there.
Great video Adam great job, I got a question for you or anyone for that matter. What would be the proper way to grease the one way bearing. I would really, really appreciate some feedback. Thank you in advance to all.
I believe he said 6mm for the spreader bolt, I’ll verify that when I do my maintenance this week, so you can get that at any hardware store or nut & bolt supply house.
Good video,,, have you had any problem with your key not being recognized Ii only Good video,,, have you had any problem with your key not being not recognized
Have this issue with my 2012 Gen 1 XMR all the time & I just wiggle it a bit which has been working fine for well over a year. Once it starts it has never stalled out from wiggling the key like that either

Good vid!! You must be a flat rate tech. Good speed!!!
Hi ... does the engine brake still change after the change? how is it with the original one?
How do take primary off if you don’t have an impact drill?
Fast isn’t Always good. Torque the bolts properly, not with an impact.
