Great job Austin! A little different twist and great job with the comparisons. I think if I was in the market for a tractor and had settled in on a particular brand to go with, a vid like this would be exactly the prep I'd want to come and talk to you for a recap, ask some questions, and do some test drives. You do a great job in translating a lot of the tech specs into practical use and examples. Whether it's a new truck, a house, Ag equipment there's always lots to consider but in the end, when you deliver my big new red Massey, I'd feel a lot more confident that I made a well-informed choice. Now add in the fact that I could get the whole side-by-side comparison in the toasty comfort of the shop, and not out shlepping around the snow drifts on the lot where it's bone-cold degrees below Nunavut winter....that's an added bonus. Of course I did miss not having some overhead drone shot comparisons, but then again, given your history with drones and tall objects like trees, maybe just as well you weren't flying around up in the shop beams and around the BigAzz fan. Maybe next time you can put the cam on the under-truck creeper and slide us through for an underbody view. All in all, 5⭐ review! Hope you're doing well bud - a large double-double and a box of Timbits on me tomorrow ! 😎
Great video Austin, before I watched it I took a deep dive into the history of Massey Ferguson. I knew Massey Harris was in there somewhere. Interesting history, never quit learning.🎓
I am hearing rumors, that Massey Ferguson will be coming out with a big 4-wheel drive articulated tractor in the 600 HP range (give or take)?!?! Any truth to that?
I really feel sorry for those MF engineers, the are limited > 5s gets no CVT. But they also have strange logics, that 6s you showed has the hitch switch the other way around compared to a 6100 serie and vertical on the x400serie. We have to wait to 2026 before those 2 tractors get a new cab, me and many others expected the 8s cab on the 7 serie. But I really love my 7465 vt in combination with frontloader, that works wonderful.
