Galaxy S23 Full In-Depth Review! Let's break down in-depth the Samsung Galaxy S23 and find out if this phone is for you! Share your thoughts, questions, comments, video suggestions, and enjoy the video :)
min 6:25 "it's probably a little bit overpowered" - seriously?? Nick, you never had to use an underpowered Exynos device!! we Europeans thirst for Snap powered devices. the s23 is the most perfect Galaxy S class device I've ever bought in my life.
I also got the S23 in green and I love it. I also have an S22 which was my favorite small Samsung phone and the S23 just amplified that. Plus, I personally prefer the new rear design of the S23. Great in-depth review! Very hard to find these videos nowadays.
Im thinking about replacing my galaxy a32 5g with either a s21 or s21 fe or pixel 6a or 6 or 6 pro or iphone 12 mini or iphone se 3 or motorola edge 2022? or wat would u recommend with a phone with better gaming and camera performance? a phone thats not to expensive.
@@preston8872 You can find a 12 mini or the S21 series pretty cheap on eBay, BackMarket, Amazon, etc. I’d go for one of those. Pixel I can’t speak for cause I never owned one. But they do have a new 6a unlocked on Amazon for $299 US
@@rajit3093 I think personally it’s quite a bit better than the S22. Cause I’ve noticed getting like an extra hour or two screen on-time throughout the day on my S23.
So far, the galaxy S 23 series is off to a great start. according to a Samsung spokes person, the pre-orders were successful, especially for the S 23 ultra. I wonder what smart phone award this phone will get at the end of the year.
I think it's the best phone since the s10 series. Base s23 here and i have no complaints. The battery efficiency is ridiculous especially on light mode. I got 9 hours sot the other day using 120 hz and light mode.
Not many speak about samsung dex. Practically your phone can be a desktop. With great battery, amazing looks, best display in the market, compact size, moderate pricing for what it offers, decent cam, big storage, strong hardware, great OS that IOS cannot even dream coming close to, Samsung Dex, Bixby voice to text conversion, this can be the ultimate phone.
I love your review of the S23 base model, Nick!! I'm watching this video on my S21 base model, and I love what Samsung has done with this year's smartphone lineup. The clean look of the back of the phone is amazing. The displays are awesome. The SD 8 Gen 2 is a beast. I also love One UI and the timely software updates!! The only thing is, the price of these phones is the sticking point, where if you want to save money it would be better to buy a Pixel 7 or 7 Pro or keep your S21 base model if it still performs well. As always, keep up the great work!! I always enjoy working your informative videos
I've got the 23+ I upgraded from the Note 10+ the screen is slightly less sharp but it's only noticeable if you're coming from a high res device. compared to a lot of other phones it's terrific! I'm very happy with this years devices
Yeah I had the s20 Plus and I bought the s22 plus last year but when I compare it screens you could see the difference. But I think you're probably right if you don't have a phone with the 1440 screen next to it. Maybe you won't notice the difference. But
Well... not necessarily. As S20 FE (non-hi-res) user I noticed that S23+ screen being not that sharp. I was bit annoying to see that fonts on more expensive phone are less sharp.
Man... night video on the Galaxy is still super rough. I know that's a challenge on every phone, but I think the Pixel's camera blows this away in (nearly) every situation. I'd take the more muted realism of the Pixel or the iPhone over the way Samsung processes photos. Overall though, the S23 looks like an excellent phone!
also new on the S23 is Bixby Text to call...enable it and you have the feature that sells Pixels. I have a Pixel 7 and this Bixby version for Sammy basically works the same way...I love it! that Bixby Text to call is enabled in the One UI 5.1 update which I've got on my S22U now and it works! So, more points to Sammy!
I got this as an upgrade from a Note20. Traded a S9 to get it for "Free" Wanted something that was a bit smaller. Should be getting in today. Same color & memory size.
@@redcoolc.h4155 Yeah. That's was the promotion going on. Trade any working Galaxy device for up to $1,000 in credit on the S23 series. It was only for one week!
Nick says the s23 doesn't get hot. Well I can tell you, they do.. even from just watching UA-cam I've noticed it really heats up. It's like sometimes it's doing something intensive in the background and it really gets hot. The battery has been great.. finger print scanner is my only annoyance. It's not 100% percent for me. I'm gonna try out a few more screen protectors, see if I can improve it.
I was using S23+ for a week or something and the fingerprint scanner was not really accurate. Sometimes I had to try 2-3 times until it unlocked my phone. I was using a Samsung screen protector and maybe that was the reason, but what's interesting is that I still have the S20 FE 5G with a factory screen protector and fingerprint scanner seems more reliable. So I don't really know how to explain it.
I just picked up my s23. I still have me S22 Ultra and IPhone 24 pro. I'm just tired of the big phone. But this phone needs a case, it is super thin and slippery.
I recommend the original Silicone Grip Case from Samsung. I tried it with S23+, it was high quality and it had some nice, soft material inside. That material inside (cotton-like) saves your phone from being scratched if there is some dirt inside the case already.
I don't know about the S23+ but I traded my S22+ for the S23U, battery is noticeably different. I can leave my phone running without worrying about battery. I'm sure the S23+ has the same effeciency
At about the 10:30 Mark of this video you indicate that the memory is 256GB, but it can be upgraded to 512GB. - Unless you have information that the S23 can go beyond 256GB to 512GB, I'd like to know as I'd like to get a lot more memory. I'm not seeing this as an option for the Basic S23 Model.
I just got the regular s23 and the battery is much better than my s22. Overall great phone. However, this phone won't work with my Android Auto and it seems like a lot of people are having the same issue.
You are correct the box is light green. Like the other person said the phone he is holding is a forest green. I hope mines is the forest green it's definitely nicer.
I do own a s23 and it's front facing camera performance in low light performance pathetic. budget phones perfomed better . evening video calls are torture. hope they fix it soon.
I am loking for an option to press the trigger one time, but take multiple pictures in specific time period (A combination of burst and selftimer) It was possible on my Xiaomi Smartphone, but I am not able to find this feature on Samsung. E.g. Every 3 seconds a picture with pressing one time at the start.
@TheCarLover47 How do you like the iPhone (basic model) cameras? I was considering an iPhone 14 but the 60hz screen is a disappointment. S23 has 120hz.

I bought plus one. This one is too small, and I have Lumix S5, so I don't need uber camera system in my smartphone. Plus has a way bigger battery too. I also don't like the brick-design of ultra. I prefer curved edges and flat screen.
@@luisarreguin2202 well 2160p is called 4K because it's 2160×3840 and 3840≈4000.. so 4K. And 1080p is 1080×1920, 1920≈2000=2K. So it's more accurate to call 1080p 2K than to call 2160p 4K. Coming from an S10 to S23 soon. I think Samsung learned of their foibles from past iterations and is a worthy upgrade now.
Best S series ever, they nailed everything for the base model, next year, if they do it, they need to nail the + to a little bit more powerful maybe
