I just simply am in love with this car!
In snow the Audi beats a lot off 4x4 SUV's with more ground clearance, the car is just that good. As long as you have the ground clearance, don't underestimate this car...

Thats a reflection of the orange cone next to the car, alignint with the front rotors at that very moment. You can see its reflection start moving away right after the driver takes off again, and shows up on the front right door.

Such a beautiful car, it looks even more rich and expensive than the A8 from the outside. The grille is much better looking than the grille on the other Audis.
400hp here on e85 0-60 in 3.5 and 1/4mi 12.6 with 2.0tsfi

Why not? I bet you a million to one, most of the driving in an offroad will be done on roads. We need to know what on road capability was sacrificed to make this vehicle offroad worthy.
That trim around the wheel wells is very gaudy. Also Audi's 2.0T is getting old in the tooth. Considering the road conditions in North America, ground clearance may be a good idea.

I'd probably just get the Q5. They're almost too close for comparison and the Allroad actually costs more. Kind of strange if you ask me.

I hope it lasts. According to ConsumerReports and JDPower, Audi and Volkswagen are rated last for dependability and reliability. This car is a fail, and will not be like the old C5 Allroad. I wouldn't even want to offroad this thing, nor would I even want to drive it in the first place.
no adjustable air suspention like the old model, no good. I don't care if it was a major maintenance issue.
Maybe because the US ones are built in Mexico with a poor parts quality (Of course I'm not preaching the EU ones, they're much more expensive BUT at least more reliable, but they're still expensive....)
outbacks are offroad capable... not theoretically.... ive gone hill climbing in pits... and hundreds of kms in the forest.. probably another 80 km mud thousands of dirt roads and unmaintained old dirt roads... and mines only a legacy wagon not an outback even.. on all seasons ... lol theoretically?

THE ONE THAT IS IN THE TEST IS THE FACELIFTETD VERSION . THEY WERE IN THE U.S. WITH THE A6 ALLROAD UP UNTIL THE ARRIVAL OF THE A4 ALLROAD . NO.3 - IT DOES NOT REPLACE THE AVANT . THEY'RE BOTH SOLD AS DIFFERENT MODELS . DOES THE A6 ALLROAD REPLACE THE AVANT ? IT NEVER DID .
