Fully understandable. It's so cool that you two are so well together and are enough as a basis. I notice that in my late 40s I'm so more reluctant to change places and move.

We love the idea of changing places - but then reality hits you like a truck in what all it means and requires... We just have not found that place we want to "settle down" in.. Your reluctance to change could also be an indication of contentment and comfort - two things that are very valuable and wise as we get a little older.

Can totally understand your feelings. I would be feeling the exact same things. You both are brave and I know you both will do really well.
I think big decisions are our age are harder and need more thinking about and consideration.
Know that I am here for you both.

Can empathize with you, being from the ‘West to East’ for the first time. Welcome to SG and rest assured that SG is a very livable city. You guys should be able to adapt real fast in no time. As understand, most Westerners’ initial area of activities surround the civic district (MBS, Suntec, Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, Robertson Quay, Haji Lane and Arab Street), Orchard Road and Holland Village etc. If you are interested to explore the history of Singapore, it would be nice to visit the various museums such as the National Museum and the Asian Civilizations Museum. Lastly, it’s advisable to bring along an umbrella when out during the current rainy season even though most places are sheltered.

Thank you for the great welcome and I have to say you hit all the places that were areas we visited on our "Look See" trip! I am hoping to get the Museum's once we get settled, learning the history is something I look forward to very much. I have to figure out the shoe situation too regarding the rainy days - I don't want to have soggy shoes! Thanks again for such a nice, welcoming and useful comment.

So true - ending a day with dehydration is not something I want to experience.. just need to get in the habit of carrying one with me! Thanks for the advice!
