Lzzy is the perfect low effort guest because all you have to say is "Hi" and she'll talk for 11 minutes straight 🤣
Woman am I right lol?
18:47 she's pretty pricice of what she's talking about.
@@model101jr5 actually no, you’re wrong lol. Well, actually you’re, both right and wrong
Sounds like me 😄
I think she knows all because "in godmode" rightwrong
The face of Ola looking at that Guitar it's priceless!!!
its missing a pick-up
I love the positive energy coming from Lzzy. She seems like a pretty genuine and down to earth person. And definitely a guitar nerd like us.
Lzzy Hale is an absolutely fantastic person to talk with. I had the privilege to hangout with her and Joe at a bar on base while Halestorm was on a USO tour. Two of the nicest people I've ever met. If you get the chance to meet them, they are genuine people who are extremely appreciative of their fans.
Ola has become such a great interviewer over the last few years, it's always refreshing to hear all these stories. I love this channel! So honest, true, authentic... these days all these qualities are so rare to find. Thank you for your contribution to the world of music Ola!
I love Ola to pieces, but I don't agree that he's a good interviewer. He's a great performer and entertainer. He should interview people more, and he will get really good at it. He isn't bad at all. I'm not hating on the guy, he's living the dream and I support him.
He is better than most. He will get the feel for q&a sessions. And he is entertaining and it's still a good watch
I disagree. He focuses too much on one aspect of each guest for example he kept harping on Jared’s finger picking or Beato’s perfect pitch. The best parts are when the guests just tell their own stories like Rob Flynn’s dimebag tales.
@@itsalwayssomething7490 I like it best when he's talking about farts.
Well said. I agree, he’s great with interviews, it’s something interesting to watch and takes my mind off things
I saw Halestorm at Tons of Rock this year, GOD she's a phenomenal artist and just absolutely sings her heart out, it was great.
She's like a music teacher now for her influences to younger artists like the warning. AMAZING
Love your pfp, shinedown are my favourite band 🤘🏻
Also Lzzy Hale, Halestorm itself and The Warning are all awesome too, only recently found The Warning whereas I've been listening to shinedown and halestorm for years but The Warning are brilliant 🤘🏻
@@ethanudall Yes those ladies are brilliant and stunning. 🖤🤘
Remember, when checking into Dime's techniques that the entire Randall clinic is still here on YT.
If you found the one that's about an hour long, that's the one.
He answers and demonstrates all.
Merry Shreddin!
Man, how awesome is it that a dude just chugging away on a 2x12 and random amp heads 15 years ago (give or take) has risen to the level he has. This gives an old metal head like me great pride in our metal community man. Lzzy Hale just gave him a badass and BEAUTIFUL Kramer after having coffee with him. You F'n deserve it Ola and I think I speak for the masses when I say... WE NEED TO SEE A VIDEO OF THAT GUITAR ASAP BRO 🤘
Its funny I was thinking about that a few days ago. I remember watching Ola's videos when he had the horrible voice overs on his drum mixing tutorials instead of him talking and explaining.
I hope you never stop playing that corky organ music in the background. It's just fkn amazing 🔥🌹😁❤️
That's coffee makin' music man !
The way she sings live is unbelievable. One of the best vocalists of all time.
Hell yeah 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Love you're album Sophie! Your collaboration with Lzzy is amazing!
I met Lzzy in 2005 or 2006 when Halestorm opened for Ra. I was working at a venue and I was going to chill in my car after being cut for the night. I decided on a whim to check out the opening act for Ra and that’s when I first saw Halestorm. I saw this female fronted band with ferocity in her voice, a drummer who played with the energy and fierceness of John Bonham. After they got offstage, I talked to Lzzy and Jay. She was so sweet and gentle offstage and humble. That’s one of the most amazing things about Lzzy, she’s grateful for being able to do what she loves to do for a living. On top of being an amazing musician, she’s also an amazing human being.
Lzzy always seems so humble and gracious, I always enjoy her interviews. Great job, Ola!
Watching her geek over the Dime squeals is great! Just goes to show you never know when life’s about to throw some cool knowledge at you lol😂
I thought dimes technique was use the picking hand to pinch harmonic? All the videos I tried to learn it from taught that. I'm a bit heavy handed to do it that way
@@ShawnJonesHellion the uber squeals are natural harmonics. then he does regular harmonics too. sometimes he divebombs pinch harmonics and sometimes he vibratos natural harmonics. if there's a way that you can do a harmonic dime did it on the regular.
her...????
Lzzy should gift one of those to Dany from The Warning. Dany would look amazing with that beautiful guitar
My wife and I saw Halestorm for the first time about 2003-2004 opening for Shinedown in Tucson. Never heard of them prior. The lights go down and all of a sudden we hear this amazing, powerful voice singing acapella the intro to "It's Not You." Our hair stood up on the back of our necks! Met them after the show at the merch booth, and we've been fans since. So happy to see their star rising. Good things happen to good people.
Kramer voyager Hale signature? Wow! Nice! Lzzy is always humble and grateful. That ego-minimizing approach is the key to success!
One of the two : if you are not her grandad, you gotta be a Joker cause all what she did was talk endlessly ( ME, ME, ME )
I was the soundguy for Halestorm in Philly at a little place called WhiskeyDix, right next to the Electric Factory. I guess it was 2006 or 7. Good to see you guys are still together Lzzy. Cheers! Congrats on the Grammy.
Lzzy is one of those artists that have a real iconic stage presence. Saw them live over in New Zealand with a local act called Devilskin, totally amazing concert
Halestorm has been a staple in my playlist from the day i heard them XD
was on a road trip with some friends and we stopped at a gas station came across their (2009) self titled album.
half way threw love/hate heart break I remember LEAPING from the backseat restarting the song and cranking it..
by the end of the song we were doing 160 in a KIA rondo station wagon singing and rocking out.
Thank you lzzy for helping create some of the fondest memories
Such a powerful voice. She’s got a hell of a set of pipes. I’ve seen her perform live with other acts where you can blatantly see her dialing it back so she doesn’t outshine whoever she’s singing with.
“You make a noise until ya like the noise you make and then you keep making that noise”
That is IT right there.
Lizzy is THE best live singer I have ever seen in my life! Excellent showman ship and spot on tone, pitch and clarity. Love her!
“A metal version of Jem & the Holograms” sounds pretty damn perfect to me 🤘
᛭ᚠᚪᚳᛁᚾ᛫ᚩᚱᛋᛁᛗ᛭
Her cover of Ride the Lightning is absolutely epic
I got so emotional when Lzzy was talking about imposter syndrome & comparing yourself...what a great interview! I've loved Halestorm & Lzzy for so many years. I finally got to see them in Corpus Christi last year & it was everything I dreamed of. Can't wait to see them again ❤
Lizzy is one of the best singer ever lived! Period.
And their shows are absolutlely stunning! Love them for a years!!
Firmly imbedded in my heart and soul! 🫶
Lzzy being my generation (I'm 1979} - teenager in 90's, starting to play a guitar ... I did not know the band. My 12yr old daughter played me Halestorm several times in the car. I would not probably discovered them. Now, knowing the big picture, I am wishing them all the best! Keep on rocking! But I am also into Ola's t-shirt ... I have been playing Doom a lot on my 286.
Dude! She’s such an awesome musician! I always clap before starting my classes 😂 it’s an Ola thing 😎
"i haven`t gone digital yet"..i just love her for this statement 🎸🎶
Saw them last year and Lzzy is one of the most amazing rock/metal vocalists I have ever seen live.
Metal ? Oh please... Lol... do you even know the meaning of this word ? I doubt !
COFFEE w LZZY. OOOOO YEAAAA Can't get any better1🤘☕️🤘
Lzzy has a superb voice, definitely one of the best I've heard, very powerful.
For anyone that hasn't seen it, Two Minutes To Late Night did one of their pandemic bedroom covers of "Mouth For War" with Lzzy on vocals, and Gina Gleason and Reba Meyers on guitar, and it rips. Lzzy's vocals are killer, and watching Gina nail the solo on a telecaster is pretty wild.
That is my favourite episode by FAR - they fucking crush it
I saw her way back in the day at a place called Otter Lake Campground. Her and the band played during the middle of the day at the pool for me and like 8 other kids... and I can tell you now that they put as much effort and passion into that show as any band I've ever seen. Any band that gives that much of a shit when they're playing during the middle of the day in some backwoods campground for a few kids, deserves all the fame and success in the world! I'll always be a fan of musicians like Lzzy that give a shit about their fans, and do what they do for the love of music!
Been Following Halestorm since 2012. One of the great hard Rock Bands still out there.
That Kramer is ridiculous. I love it
I’m not a huge fan of that kind of hard rock, but I’ll always find time to listen to some live Halestorm, because she’s just such an awesome singer. Great interview.
To be honest their music is pretty generic and bland.
@@juser-abuser yeah its THE definition of generic n bland lol, but that is just my opinion...
Forever in awe of her and her amazing talent.
I've watched Halestorm grow as a band from the local scene in Philadelphia to what they are today such an amazing group of talented musicians and wonderful people I've had multiple times to meet with and meet and share a beer or two with glad you got the chance to interview LZZY and premier her new signature guitar
Watched Halestorm live once and that was an awesome show! Love them! 🔥😊
Lzzy is so authentic and down to earth , I love her . Ola did an excellent job on this interview with her too ! Keep on rockin’ people , music makes the world go ‘round ! Take care and rock out !
I saw her live last year and she blew my mind! How she can sing the way she does night after night is insane. She’s a powerhouse!
Ola teaching the world to Dime squeal! 🤘
I met Lzzy when they were touring for their first album and she’s such a sweetheart
Thank you for this interview, Ola! Halestorm is awesome, especially live!
Awesome interview! So awesome to see Lzzy on the channel and that Kramer is gorgeous!
Her face at the end when Ola helps out with that dime harmonic was priceless holy shit LoLs
she's super nice irl....my mom met her and she remembered her name 2 years later, and the last time she was there that it was almost exactly 2 years later
I saw halestorm this summer and they were INCREDIBLE!! Amazing music, warm evening, download festival, perfect
Recently discovered the group ! Very much enjoyed ! Thx for this interview ! Very interresting ! And thank you lzzy for your music !
What a fantastic interview, her enjoyment and creativity in music is palatable and I haven't even really listened to her stuff. She's wonderful. I'll be checking them out.
I've seen Halestorm perform at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA several times. They are amazing live and Lizzy's voice is nothing short of incredible. Truly amazing pipes on her!
Love Lzzy Hale what a great interview. Awesome thanks
Lzzy is a big talent & overall a fantastic performer live! great interview 👏well done🤘⛓🕶🖤
this is so cool. I’ve been enjoying these videos a lot
That was great! Lzzy is such an open person that she can't be a bad interview! Being in the business for more than a quarter of a century, and with mostly the same guys for the whole time, is astounding. I found her thru The Warning band. Lzzy invited them to open for her, so I started listening to her music. I am old-time, and She makes me think 'This is what Janis Joplin would have evolved to, if she hadn't gone off the deep end. Thanks for showing her the pitch harmonic squeals. I'm sure she will share that with Dany, from The Warning.
Coffee and Sunday with Ola, that's a nice combo
Ola showed Lzzy how to Dime-squeel...my life is now complete
Love Lzzy!! So excited I just ordered this guitar🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻 Can’t wait to get this!! Lzzy this looks awesome!!!
Great interview! Love you Ola!!
Lzzy is great. The world needs more Lzzy’s in it. She’s a role model for younger girls in such a male dominated genre, but the female aspect aside, she is a great guitarist, great song writer, and AMAZING singer in her own right. Love her - and her band is such good fun to watch. I last saw Halestorm at Download this year and they killed it.
My old band opened up for halestorm WAY back here in St Paul Minnesota. We were a different style but it was cool, they were so innocent, and mom and dad were their managers.
great episode, I love her!❣🤘
Awesome interview! Hope we get a vid for a playthrough of that killer guitar!
Lzzy and her band are seriously badass. Ola you are the man. Your interviews are always very good. Thanks sir for your great content. Take care.
That guitar is insane! Love it
I have always loved Halestorm... they are raw and pure rock n roll.
Love that you had Lzzy on! She rocks
aaah sweet. Gonna watch on my ATV big screen. Thx Ola, Lzzy
AWESOME! LOVE Halestorm! We got to catch them live a couple of years back here in WV and they were OUTSTANDING and one of the BEST live bands out there - such raw energy and swagger - LZZY is a goddess of ROCK
Lzzy! That Kramer Voyager IS the next step for you! Thank you so much for bringing this wonderful guitar to the stage. Great interview. :)
One of the best female vocalist in rock or metal today or ever🤘🏻
Brilliant interview Ola! I absolutely love Lzzy's work she's incredible, and she is such a cool person.
She’s really cool! Very beautiful too 🤘😎
Guitar looks great. I LOVE the sparkle.
One of my favorites 🤘💀🤘🎸
Love Halestorm, amazing interview. Very chill.
Hell yeah, so good to open UA-cam and seeing this pop up!
Lzzy is just wonderful, totally cool and talented. Ola awesome as always. 😊
I love her sooo much!!!
Genre aside, Halestorm is one of the best bands I've ever had the privilege of discovering. Thanks, Lzzy Hale, for keeping it metal. They crank it up to 11 then break the knob off and throw it out.
Awesome, Lizzy is cool!
Love the guitar love the channel Ola
Great job ola! Your channel has really become next level!
Lzzy : - hey man, gimme back that guitar. Im the star here, not you !
Olá: - I don't wanna let it go !
Lol
Lazy Hale is Awesome ! Love Her! Great interview /talk/ chill
This has been a great interview. Ola almost didn't need to say anything, she was ready to talk a lot, but not in a bad way, and rather humble, just commited to deliver the topics that were expected without playing the faux misterious.
Great episode! She said some very true words and seemed like a nice person to chat with. Awesome looking guitar!
Thank for the life advise Lzzy. love your music
Ola great as usual,,l watch cause u ask good questions n actually let the guess speak n express themselves
Hale Storm amazing performance🤘🔥
Seen Halestorm in Italy twice, November last year, and a couple of weeks ago.
They are mind blowingly good! Lzzy is awesome!!
She even handed me a pick, during my meet&greet, and gave me a heartwarming hug that I’ve been needing for a while.
What a night that was! Looking forward to see Halestorm live again in the future!
WOW! Ola - your on FIRE 🔥 AMAZING INTERVIEWS
Ah awesome video, thank you both, they kicked ass at download fest this year!
Grymt samtal. Tack.
That guitar. Good choice Lizzy!
That Kramer is awesome.
Lzzy is a pleasant person and great interlocutor! Ola & Lzzy, thx a lot for the interesting interview!
Met Lizzy at a bar in Nashville. She’s really cool!
